Spacious comfortable room in old building with antique furniture. Helpful staff. Broadband access in room. Balcony overlooked a canal! Good breakfast choice & quality. Excellent restaurants nearby, fantastic location a few minutes from Piazza San Marco. WiFi was too weak in the rooms to work (but staff supplied a cable which worked fine). |

Great location 5 minutes from St Marks Square and close to lots of shops and water bus. Very large new room overlooking canal with very comfortable king bed and spotless bathroom. Breakfast was of a good variety and constantly replenished. Our room was next to the breakfast room and was alittle noisy as the breakfast was being set up first thing. |

Small quiet centrally located hotel. The staff was very attentive to all our needs and was eager to accomodate any situations. As a physically impaired traveler, the hotel staff went out of their way to help us. We feel that it is an excellent value. |

The location was excellent. There are many good restaurants within a10 minute walk although some are expensive. The staff especially at reception were informative and polite. The breakfast provided was also good with a selection of cold meats, boiled eggs, croissant, bread rolls, cereal and fruit juice. The building is beautiful as are the rooms. To be recommended. |

What a wonderful hotel! I fell in love with it just after seeing its photos in the Internet and I was even more impressed when I came there for 4 nights in the middle of September. Fantastic location in San Marco area, but in a very quiet place near a lovely canal (Rio delle Veste) where the loudest "noise" comes from singing gondoliers! And if you love opera, like me, who came to Venice for La Traviata, you must stay here! The La Fenice opera house is just a few meters away. The main feature of the decor is elegance. This hotel has it's own style with soft colours and gentle light. And what is very important - the staff is great! I felt as if I was in the company of my friends. I'll certainly be back! I've got a suggestion to Booking.com: could you please allow more space to write in the previous section :) |

The best thing about this hotel is staff is very kind and friendly. They kept my luggage after check-out because I had enough time for city trip before my flight. In addition, very convinient lcation for me because very closed to main city center, Sanmaro. Breakfast was very simple although I wanted to have green salada. |

The rating of the hotel was accurate. The location, the room, the bathroom, the service etc. excellent. They were very helpful with the sight seeing and directions. The lady at breakfast remembered that I wanted hot water for my tea the next morning and every morning, the service was truly excellent. The location was good because we could keep popping in to the hotel and leaving our shopping or just having a rest. |

We stayed 2 nights, the biggest surprice was huge, clean romantic room with a huge bed and very nice bathroom, we liked it that it was so small and cute, and very good location, closed to the most important places. It was a bit confusing to get there, but I believe that every hotel in venecia, unless is on grand canal side, is located hidden, so just ask or call reception. We will come back for sure! They say that the breakfast could have more choices, but I loved it even like this, because everything seemed to be so fresh! |

This is a small quiet hotel in a fine location close to the Fenice opera building. The reception staff is very helpful, with good advice on restaurants to go to and tourist traps to avoid. Our room and bathroom were well appointed and we had a pleasant small terrace balcony on the canal. |

We were on our Honeymoon and I can say that the Hotel Dell Opera was great hotel to start off our honeymoon. Hotel upgraded us to a Superior room with canal view...very spacious w/ a great size bathroom. Jason the hotel staff that checked us in was awesome. He told us about the area and sites to visit, plus the places to eat. He also told us about going out to Lido to enjoy the beaches while we were there. The continental breakfast was good and the breakfast staff was nice. Location was great b/c it was close to a lot of the major attractions without all the people traffic and noise. It is about 5 minutes to St. Marks Basilica, 15-20 minute walk to the Rialto Bridge for shopping. Floors - could of been swept more often. First night we were there a light bulb broke all over the floor, not sure how it happened. We didn't find out about until later that night after a long day out and about. Hotel took care of it once we told them. After that, I just noticed more things on the floor, like dust, lint and stuff. Not sure if the hotel had slippers, we never asked but they could of provided them to guest by placing it in the closet. |

We loved Hotel Dell'Opera! We got this room at a discounted rate through Booking.com and were amazed by this place, the service was the best we've seen, the room was beautiful (we had a cute little terrace & breakfast included, which we weren't expecting). We stayed with a 7 month old & there was plenty of space with the cot in the room. It was a little tricky to find, however if you email prior to travelling, the directions we received were excellent & we found it no problems. Breakfast was lovely & plentiful. But the standout here was the level of service and luxurious & spacious rooms. |

Da simpatia de todos os funcionários, especialmente do Gian Paolo e das suas dicas para conhecer Veneza no seu melhor. As dicas gastronomicas foram de muita qualidade. Maior diversidade de fruta ao pequeno almoço. |

The room was new, clean, and very nice. It is a little difficult to find, be sure to have a map with the hotel on it. This is more the fault of venice than the Hotel. |
