Sehr schöne und große Suite im Dachgeschoss, modernes, großes und helles Bad/WC.

In unserem Bad stank es extrem. Das Frühstück im benachbarten Cafe ist geöhnungsbedürftig weil immer viel los und kein Platz zum geniessen ist. PKW wird abgeholt und in ein 20 min entferntes Parkhaus gebracht, tlw. dauert es bis zu einer Stunde um das Fahrzeug wieder zu bekommen.

The location is perfect! Friendly staff, in the weekend nice breakfast in the basement. During the weekdays a real Italian breakfast in the cafe. Very good!

The street is a bit noisy, not to bad when you close the windows. When you sleep light bring your earplugs.

Unhelpful staff and strange odour in the room

The location was the best thing of the hotel - close to the Dome and proximity to all the sights worth seeing in Florence city. Communication with the staff depended on their ability to understand English, but if they understood they were extremly helpful. For instance, the electricity plug points in the room are with 3 holes - not European standard that I know - but the hotel manager provided an adaptor when he understood what I needed. The breakfast in the cafe worked very well and we were happy with the overall service.

The furnishing in the room was very spartan and it was not possible to open the window. I expected a friendly, colourful room with a small balcony (according to the pictures on the website) but those photos must be from another hotel. Room was dark and needed lamps even during day, therefore did not fit with the price charged. But as we were there to see Florence and its sights, one does not spend time in the hotel anyway.

The hotel is situated very close to the Duomo. In fact it is just a few minutes away from the Duomo. Although it is centrally situated, the street is not noisy. The hotel staff are very helpful and courteous.

Whenever I opened the window there was a smell of sewage permeating into the room. Thus I was constrained to keep the window closed most of the time. Fortunately there was the ac in the room. During the week breakfast was served in the bar adjacent to the hotel. This had its limitations as no cereal, yoghurt or fresh fruit were served. During the weekend the hotel offered breakfast in the basement which was very good as toast, cereal, yoghurt was served.

There was a continuous bad smell in the room coming from the toilet we couldn't stand the smell during the whole stay. The bed was very unconfortable, there was no one available to check us out in the morning. On Breakfast there was only 1 person to serve on demand a big nbr of customers, so it took a long time for people to get their orders.

The hotel is in a perfect location. Its close to the David and we could see the Duomo from our window because it was literally right down the street. The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Good location for walking to museums, Duomo. Restaurants nearby, laundromat across the street. Nice breakfast with cappacino and pastries. Very comfortable room and large bathroom with tub/ shower. Very enjoyable stay.

The hotel is in the center, yet the street is not loud. The room was nice and nicely furnished with what appeared as renovated traditional furniture. All the hotel is furnished with taste. We loved the bar next door where the breakfast takes place on weekdays.

The bathroom could use a renovation. Some of the staff was not very friendly, and didn't speak English. We were surprised to find out that the local tourism tax of 3Eur/person/night was not included in the quoted price, although in all fairness this was in the small print of our reservation. Maybe the same applies to all hotels in town.

Friendly staff and good location. Rooms were simple but quite stylish. Free wifi.

Breakfast finished a little early at 9.30. Noisy through the night if windows open but very good double glazing.

Everyone at the hotel were kind and very very helpful for directions ...place was very clean and cozy...would of loved some different breakfast food...oatmeal maybe...but I would refer and return...hugs

Though small hotel, it was open when I checked in at midnight.

The room I booked for 9 nights was called (and priced) the "suite" but in reality it is a sub-standard room with poor general quality ; essential advantages which are advertised on the web (like safe, minibar, nice view, ..) are completely missing. When I signalled all this the boss did not care. Besides, what other clients complain about on the website (toilet smell, noisy street) is true. If you add to this that the wardrobe was a joke (no hangers, no way to organise your stuff), that the room had not been properly cleaned and that my request when booking to have a desk in the room was completely ignored, you'll understand that I had no choice than to leave after 1 night. A nightmare suite which I strongly advise not to book - or, if you enter it, leave all your usual expectations outside, like before hell.
