This charming boutique 3-star hotel is situated right in the heart of the historic centre of Florence, just a few steps from the Duomo Cathedral and Michelangelo's David.

Other city landmarks like San Lorenzo, Piazza San Marco, Galleria dell'Accademica, Palazzo de' Medici are within 10 minutes’ walk from Arti & Hotel, as are all of the major monuments and sights of Florence - including Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, Galleria degli Uffizi, Piazza Santa Croce and of course Ponte Vecchio, the Arno river, and Leonardo's former school (now the Unicef Innocenti Research Center ).

All rooms are different from each other in colours and furnishing, each is equipped with all modern facilities and has a high standard individual bathroom.

A charming terrace on the attic of the building offers a view of the city rooftops and is the ideal setting for breakfast. There is also an indoor breakfast room and a sitting and reading room that you can enjoy at any time of the day or in the evening.

These areas can also be used for small sized meetings and gatherings.

The attic of the building features a charming terrace with a view of the city rooftops, a nice location for an outdoors breakfast.

There is also an indoor breakfast room and a sitting and reading room which can be used at any time during the day or the evening. These areas can also be utilized for small meeting, a reception etc.

Free coffee, tea are served throughout the day and if you have any particular wishes for a daily newspaper, the staff will provide it.

If you need a suggestion for a good restaurant, - also at affordable prices - or a good evening in the city, consult the reception for one of their many recommendations.

Room information

The Hotel has nine large double rooms - some of which will easily accommodate 3 persons if required. And of course they can also be used for single use.
Some rooms are with double beds - others with twin beds.
All rooms are different from each other in colours and furnishing and all with individual bathrooms of a very high standard and equipped with all modern facilities such as double glazed windows.

Area information

Particularly during the high season, you may experience that some of the very popular museums and other tourist attractions in town have very long waiting lines.

The staff can make any kind of reservation on your behalf if you simply notify the requested event by email, the same goes for concerts and theatres or if you need a guide and would like to book one.

The staff speak Italian, English, French, and Spanish.

Hotel very close to main attractions

The sound insulation could be better - there was quite a bit of noise from the room above due to the wooden floors which were almost audibly transparent to every footstep.

It's location was perfect - right in the middle of everything; a very short walk to the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio etc. The room was very clean, internet access worked in the room. The staff was very friendly and courteous.

Only that our bed was a little firm, but that was minor - otherwise it was a lovely place to stay. A very good choice.

It was all great - we arrived much earlier than the allowed booking time, but they let us leave our luggage there until the room was ready, and they made every effort to get our room ready quickly. Overall, a great place to stay!

central location clean and comfortable

reception staff were very friendly and helpful but kitchen/breakfast staff were very unfriendly and felt asking for asecond cup of tea was an imposition
