Offering great service, free Wi-Fi and a large buffet breakfast, Hotel Globus is in Rome's La Sapienza University district, only 2 metro stops from Termini Train Station.
Score from 784 reviews Very good
On the fifth floor of a 19th-century building with an elevator, this b&b is less than half a mile from Repubblica Metro Station. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and private bathroom.
Score from 223 reviews Excellent
The hotel was great. Enough space and had a refrigerator. Was easy walking distance to the train station restaurant and supermarket and the price was great.
The breakfast selection was great however they had limited selection for those who don't like sweet breakfasts but this was also improving during the time of our stay.
Good location. Room not big but ok. Breakfast good
A lot of noice, not only from outside but also from the other rooms. You can hear the people talk, shower, go to the bathroom etc. Internet too slow. Coffee machine available but pads must be paid.
Breakfast is good with that price.
It's unlikely a 4 star hotel. Room is noisy
Continental brekfasts were super. Quite good service.
Old fassioned rooms, worn-out rooms, bathrooms.
The hotel is new and very clean. Breakfast is very rich and the personnel is very helpful. I stayed there several times and never had a bad experience. I would say in Rome it's the best hotel which i stayed in.
Great reception help from luca ruggero and alessia Rich breakfast Wifi best
Reception Staff very professional and Breakfast service really goos
Administration did not want to help
at 35 Euro, excellent value Nice breakfast buffet with great view and squeeze your own orange juice Clean and upkept Clean bathrooms
Parking at 20 Euro a night seems a lot (we arrived on Sunday and managed to find free parking on the street) Small room (still great value for money) Air conditioner was broken. Dumpy looking neighborhood
The staff we're very helpful and welcoming nothing was a problem our room was ready on arrival and cleaned to perfection every day. A big thank you to all staff at reception very pleasant and took time to answer any query.
Would have liked a little more options for breakfast perhaps an egg. Also the breakfast area was very cold am sure it's fabulous in summer but quite cold in autumn / winter. Also coffee facilities are available on arrival but you have to pay for it to be replenished.
I booked the junior suite. Espresso coffee machine. Exercise bicycle in the room. Big screen TV quiet. good breakfast good Wi-Fi
Clean, and friendly staff
Wi Fi had very poor reception. However the location was not great, too far from the centre of the main centre.
Staff were first class. Nothing was too much trouble. Hotel was clean and comfortable.
Hotel was not as close to centre as stated.
location to Tibertina train station
a little far from amenities
Close to metro station, there's a bus station just outside the hotel. excellent shops nearby (bar, gelato, shoes et.) The hotel offers a clean nice room to sleep in and nothing more.
The breakfast has no vegtables and no eggs or bacon. The mattress was very poor and didn't provide a good night sleep. The hotel needs to get a renovation soon.
Clean and nice room with terrace. Great breakfast. They let us to leave our baggage on reception because we arrived early. There were pretty polite to print out tickets.
There was a little bathroom noise from others rooms.
The staff were all friendly and helpful. Booked this hotel because close to Tiburtina. Only 3 Metro stops from Central Rome so not too bad for getting around.
2 of the beds in our room were comfortable but the third felt like it was on a slant and you could fall out. One of our friends in another room had the same problem. The rooms were musty and looking a bit dated and the tiles in the bathroom weren't clean.
Clean Comfortable. Good facilities Good bathroom Balcony
Wifi not great. A few stops on the metro from the centre.
Room , very neat, space, comfort. Responsiveness of personnel
I missed eggs & bacon at breakfast. When late at breakfast choice became limited. I expected more.
Good Quality/Price Compromise
nice rooms, all in working order, walking distance (20min.) to Rome centre - Termini, Breakfast on top floor
- Great value!!! - Excellent breakfast buffet! - PDF magazines for free download via WIFI - Free WIFI - Large room & washroom - Large TV - Large bed - Complementary espresso on room - Central location (5 min walk to metro station, walking from Collosseum is also possible) - Lots of nice and comparably cheap restaurants and coffees in the neighborhood - Airport transfer 49 EUR in comfortable Mercedes bus (worth the money if you are two persons or more)
Only good thing about this hotel, that the Bologna metro station is nearby and the AC works properly.
The hotel was so dirty!!! The bathroom's condition was disappointing (there were ants in there!!). The bed sheets are like a thousand years old. At breakfast several plates were dirty straight after each other, every day. The breakfast is very poor , no warm food or anything apart from italian cuisine. We were arriving from another **** hotel, you just cannot even compare the two hotels, for the same price. This is 2 star at its best, needs a big renovation and way better cleaning ladies. Also never experienced that they are holding onto our passports and not giving it back until requested! Wifi was disconnecting every few minutes.
Great room with terrace, very good breakfast.
Service, room, breakfast, everything!!
