great staff. walking distance to most places. good wifi. very helpful staff and good sized rooms.

The location was right in the middle of the old town. All tourist sites were within ten minutes walking time.

The overall cleaniness was very poor. The bathroom had a rancid smell of urine and feces. The bed covers appeared not to have washed in a long time.

Great staff! Hotel in a beautiful historic building! Love the lift!

Some staff spoke English. Close to all Florence attractions. Staff very helpful.

Lots of noise from the street. Battled to sleep. There should be bars on the windows that open for the safety of children.

Location is good and easy to be found. It is very close to Medici Chapel. Its facilities are very good. Wifi signals are also very good. We can pay when we check out rather than check in. Decorations are very warm.

The heater in the room has to be turned on fullest, otherwise it will be very cold.

Terriblly noisy- right on the main shopping street, we didn't sleep for 2 nights.

We couldn't have been more delighted with the location of this hotel. Hotel manager suggested a restaurant, Trattoria Katte for our first evenings meal which was wonderful. On the way to it after leaving Accademia we passed a fantastic ceramic store where we bought many pieces of the beautiful Florence ceramics.

The stairs were a killer if you couldn't wait or fit in the lift

This is a great hotel, it is located in the most important street of Florence, Italy, walking distance to everything you can see in this amazin city. The staff is really welcoming, specially Paulo (or Paolo, not sure), he was really helpful to us solving any problems within minutes. The attention was great, he was also able to recommend us some places to eat, basically he made us feel at home. Logically this is not a luxurious hotel but it does the work, big rooms, with a minibar and a big bathroom, great beds and even a view to the most important street in Florence. This hotel is ideal for families and for anyone who wants to visit Florence staying at a hotel with a reasonable price. Don't wait anymore book at this hotel, it won't disappoint you!!!

Basically evrything was great, the only bad thing I can say is that to get in the elevator you have to walk through some stairs but it's not that bad.

Not too much insulation on between the rooms. You can hear everything when people talk in the hallway.

The staff is very helpfull and friendly, excellent location. one of staff is Muslim so he told us where we can get halal food. one of the staff is late middle age i dont remember his name as it was cold he used to tell us ""Welcome to Italy " we will never forget his saying over all we had a pleasent stay

Location was perfect, really close to Santa Maria Novella station and the Duomo. Staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was exactly what we wanted. Located on a busy street, but the room was very quiet.

Room very dirty, small, elevator small, no wifi inside room even though they select "yes" on booking.com.

The location. It's situated between the city centre and train station (Firenze SMN) with a easy 5 min walking each way.

The access to hotel is clumbsome, as the reception is located on the third floor and the elevator is very small (2 persons), for us was a little hard as we had baby stroller, etc. The breakfast was also another negative point, the day we checked out, the breakfast was not ready on time 7:30hrs, so we had to leave to catch the train without it.

Breakfast was not fantastic. But coffee was good. prefer buffet style with more fresh foods. Also noise at level at night was quite loud. so sleep not possible till 4 am.

We liked the location of the hotel, extremely close to the main train/bus station but also close enough to walk to the attractions (like 10 mins walk away from the Duomo etc). The bed was pretty comfortable, although we had asked for double mattress (not two singles put together). Air conditioning worked nicely and the triple glazing help keep room as quiet as humanly possible. The twin "waterfall" shower in the spacious bathroom was a nice unexpected treat too. The front desk workers were always helpful, polite, and professional.

The breakfast was disappointingly minimal; neglectful service by the waitress with poor variety in food options in a cramped breakfast room barely big enough for all the guests . Our mistake was that we underestimated just how busy the road on which the hotel was on. Even through the triple glazing you can still hear the sirens and the odd drunk shouts through the night. We're from busy Central London, and urban noise doesn't really effect our sleep, however I imagine it could easily effect others. It has to be said, the untidy exterior entrance makes the place look like a seedy nightclub (especially with the tacky pink neon sign).

the breakfast was almost non existent, had bread but no cheese or ham only butter and croissants no wi-fi even though the hotel stated free wi-fi everywhere it is not a hotel its more like a hostel, the walls are not proper walls and we could hear noise from the adjoining rooms and the corridor as well as the toilet flush and water from the room above us the price we paid was for a 3 star hotel but this one was more like a hostel so its definitely overpriced for what you get

The place was close to everything. It was an old building but clean and convient. Breakfast was good. A small dining room but the lady who was in charge of it did a great job. would stay again

The location was incredible, especially for the price--an easy walk to the Duomo and other attractions but also to the train station. The room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was almost luxurious! The staff was helpful and kind.
