The reception staff was very nice and helpfull. The hotel is in an excellent location, within a short walk distance to most of all touristic atractions The breakfast room is too small (only four tables). So, we needed to wait 15min until someone finish the meal and only then we got in the room and start our breakfast. The air conditioning was weak, and the bathroom could be better clean.

it was difficult to enjoy it. Too much different from what was advertised. Pay attention! Old and dirty. Breakfest room is quite a joke, as well as the breakfest itself. I have already payed similar prices to better services.

The best thing about this hotel is its location. Very easily accessible from the train station and within an easy walking distance from all the city attractions. There are plenty of nice shops and eating places around. The room was well-sized and the staff was nice and courteous. Breakfast served was ok, but can be improved upon. The access to the reception and the rooms is a bit tricky and hard to figure out when you first arrive. But, one gets used to it fairly quickly. I would like to have a better variety in the breakfast since I do not think it was upto mark for a 3-star property.

This three star hotel offers great value for money. The rooms are well decorated in Tuscan themes which gave the hotel character. The room was a decent size. Free internet is provided and if the stay is three days or longer, free access to the mini bar and a bottle of wine is provided. The staff were exceptionally friendly and offers great assistance. The breakfast selection was basic but good for the price.

The friendliness of the staff was excellent. Also, the location could not be beaten. We were within 10 minutes walk of just about every major site in Florence.

The Hotel was very central to the train station and the Center District of Florence, which was exactly what we were looking for. We didn't have a car, but were able to see quite a lot, just by walking. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, efficient, etc. It was quite a thrill knowing we were in a building dating back to the 17th century, that is a novel thing for us. Having four days in Florence was a "dream come true" for us, and gave us memories we will treasure for the rest of our lives. But, who knows, maybe, God willing, we will come back again someday. We really did not have any complaints. At times, the room felt a bit too warm for us. The climate for us is very similar to our Mediterranean climate of California, but we see the people here seem to be colder than us, so that is just a personal thing. When we got too warm, we opened the bathroom window, to allow some fresh air to come in.

Great location being close to the railway station and most of Florence's attractions. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was reasonably spacious although we were cautioned about opening the windows because of mosquitos (a Florence problem). Breakfasts were good. The hotel is located on the upper floors of the building but there is a lift almost from the ground (a few steps) to assist weary travellers like us.

Hotel Delle Tele's location is perfect. It is only a short walking distance to all the major sights of Florence, easily reachable in 2 minutes. Our room was spacious and with lots of character: high ceiling and decorated walls. Our room was overlooking the main road which meant we had front row seats to all the hustle and bustle. Surprisingly, we barely heard any noise once we shut our windows - double windows did the trick! The breakfast was a typical Italian breakfast but they also served cereals and hard boiled eggs. This place is good for city breaks and if you want to be close to major sights in Florence.

We liked the central location, the friendliness of the staff . Without exception all members of the staff were courteous and helpful. Or the language deficient the ability of one of he owners to speak flawless English was an added plus. All in all a very pleasant stay. We had no complaints

This hotel is close to the station but also in a nice shopping area and very convenient for all the attractions of Florence. The staff on the reception desk are very willing to help with information, and speak good English!! The breakfast was not very good, and the breakfast room was too small for the number of guests, which meant sometimes having to wait for a table. The number of steps to the reception area and bedrooms would be difficult to manage for old people; there was a lift but it was tiny.

Excellent Hotel!! 1) Room is big with very high ceiling 2) Fast Internet that works perfectly 3) The nicest people work in hotel 4) 5 mins from train station, duomo and shopping streets - just in the middle of everything 5) They are always ready to help you with any unexpected problems and needs. We stayed in hotel for 2 nights, after that we went to the countryside, 3 days later we were back to Florence to get the flight back and super urgently needed wifi + to charge the computer. After going from cafe to cafe and finding no wifi we decided to run to the hotel and just ask for help. They not only allowed us to stay in hotel for 3 hours and use necessary facilities but also gave free coffee and croissant. If you were in trouble abroad you know how much this little help means! Thank you so much!

This is one of the best value for money deals I have found. The location was excellent (5 minutes walk to the Duomo and the SNM station) and I don't think you can find a better room in that location for a cheaper price. The room was spacious, well lit and perfectly clean. The breakfast served was great as well. Highly recommended.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Reception was available all day/night. Room and bathroom were spacious. Hotel is very well located between Piazza del Duomo (just 150 meters away) and Santa Maria Novella (Church and Central Station), along a big street with shops. Breakfast should be enriched (however, additional quantity was gladly provided by the staff, whenever asked for).

The room was spacious and in an excellent location within a stone's throw from the Dome and other popular sightseeing locations that Florence has to offer. The staff were friendly and tried to be helpfull even with the nightmare of parking in the city centre of a very old town not designed around cars. The entrance lobby is on the 3rd floor - a feature of many hotels in Florence. The building dates back to the 17th century, so this hotel conversion is a bit of a compromise. The lift is barely adequate, especially with a pushchair and big suitcases, as we found out! One can literally just about squeeze in a pushchair and then stand next to it. If you are anything other than super slim, then even this won't be an option. But I understand why they have done it this way - the building is old and they had to fit a lift within a spiralling staircase. I would have normally used the staircase - being a fit type - but with those heavy suitcases and a crying 20 month old boy, it would have been a tad too much. However, if travelling light, for a romantic weekend visit go for it. Location is good too, very very central indeed. Breakfast area is tiny, you might have to queue up, so be warned.

“Rooms, specially the ones on the third floor which are newly refurbished, very modern and comofortable are highly recommended. The price was good and the service was great. Specially friendly was the attention of Guido at the front desk. He recommended us places to go, restaurants to visit in the area, etc. Buffet breakfast was included, it was ok but I have no complaints considering that you are paying a very good price for the accommodation!” Valeria, Cambridge |
