Hotel is on the street, along which occur in heavy traffic around the clock. Street noise enters even through closed Windows.
Responsive hotel staff, great breakfast.
Breakfast was great and easy access to historical centre.
The size and comfort of the room. Friendly and efficient staff. The quality of the breakfast.
There seems to be a plumbing aroma in the bathroom which needs to be looked at.
Staff was very helpful. Good location.
Very central, walking distance to railway station and attractions
Good location. In the middle and near to santa maria train. Helping staff.
Noise...Noise...Noise... Not enough isolation on the door and window (5mm gap between window&its frame and all noise from street comes into). We woke up around 5 o'clock in early morning because of street noise... Noise in the corridor also disturbs in the midnight and morning. Typical second class and simple hotel. Hotel is located on the 3. and 4. floor of building and can be reached by "too narrow" lift. Its capacity is Max. 2 people or 1 person&1 luggage. Except receptionist, no person can speak English. Breakfast is very simple (typical cheap hotel breakfast). Poor WiFi. Difficult to use WiFi on the 4.floor.
Very closed to historical center and train station. Bathroom is nice and hot water is available everytime (but towels are very simple).
Wifi signal was weak in one of the rooms further from the reception desk.
Location was excellent, just a short 5 min walk from the train station and easy walking to other major attractions, shops & eateries. The hotel has a 24 hr desk and hence no issues if you are arriving very late at night. Staffs were friendly too. The rooms were tidied and cleaned every day. Breakfast was decent & good as the breads ,rolls & apple pies were freshly baked in the morning. Nice eateries around including a Chinese eatery nearby which was soothing when we craved for some hot Chinese noodles. There was a self-service Laundromat nearby too which was a necessary for us as Florence was our half-way stop only & we still had 8 more days to go before we were home. A value for money hotel. Stayed December 2014 with Family in a Quad Room.
Breakfast is pretty good Employees are very helpful
Breakfast yoghurt that has turned mouldy
WiFi signal is weak at the far-ended rooms. It is a little confused because the hotel is located on 3/F. Spent a while to find the reception. Heater was not working well.
Excellent location. Walking distance within all major attractions. Staff is very helpful and friendly. All staff members speak good English. Breakfast was good. Many good advice on travel and restaurants recommendations. I am sure I will stay here again on my next visit to Firenze.
Wifi didn't work in room, so had to go to breakfast area on lower floor to get reception. Lift is a bit narrow.
Ideally situated for visiting Florence. Chambermaids were particularly helpful.
Wifi never worked in my room.
The location was great - between the central station and the Duomo. Easy to get to via bus or train, and then an easy walk around town to see all the sights. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
need to climb some steps with your luggage
loacation is perfect
Great location, close to sights and the railway station. Staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent and good value.
Loved the boutique feel. Staff was very friendly. Great suggestions for sightseeing and eating. Convenient to parking garage. I would stay there again for sure.
No ac. Didnt sleep so good coz have to open window and outside was crazy! Elevator too tight Electrical outlet not user friendly.
Location. Decent room size Clean bathroom. Friendly staff.
The lift to the reception was small for luggage.
The location was central and very florence style of decor The staff were very accommodating and helpful . Paolo made sure we enjoyed our stay displaying a friendly manner And recommended restaurants that were good value and offered a great cuisine. My husband and I were celebrating our 30 th anniversary and the staff made it very special with our beautiful room and a note to wish us a happy 30 th wedding Anniversary with a bottle of wine. Breakfast was restocked as supply needed
The only small thing we didn't like was that our room didn't have air conditioning, so it got a bit warm being on the top floor.
The staff here were so helpful and accomodating! When we got to our room, they left us a bottle of wine with a note saying that they hoped we were enjoying our Honeymoon. The hotel was very close to the train station and the Duomo. The staff recommended a fantastic restaurant close by for dinner... Trattoria Katti. We had the best meal of our entire trip there! They helped us park our rental car when we were running late for a tour and they let us store our luggage after we checked out for the day.
Difficult access to Hotel, especially with heavy Cases, room was quite dark, and no real view from windows.
Superb position in Centre of Florence, friendly and very helpful staff, very nice room.
Location could not be any better - so close to Duomo and all the main sights in the City. Our walk from train station to Hotel was quick and easy! Hotel staff could not have made us feel more at home…from check-in and out, housekeeping, morning breakfast (included!) and night shift - all made us feel welcome and were always there to help! Located on the 3rd and 4th floor of this historic building, the reception and rooms were quaint and comfortable. The continental breakfast was just what we needed to start our day of exploration and the dining room area clean and spacious. Wi-Fi was a little slow, but worked well for us to plan our days and purchase train tickets and tours. When we are back in Florence we will definitely look to stay here again!
The concierge enthusiastically recommended a restaurant nearby that turned out to be a major tourist trap (all Americans when we were there).
The location was close to the train station and in walking distance of all the attractions we wanted to see in Florence - the Uffizi, the Accademia, the Duomo. Location was excellent, the room was much bigger than the place we had in Rome, so we could spread out a bit more. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly.
Location. Staff helpfulness.
