The evening meals taken on half-board were excellent and very reasonably priced. The staff, particularly the manager, was attentive to our needs and very pleasant. The general atmosphere of the hotel was one of relaxation even down to the piped music. The hotel has very few amenities and it is not possible to walk to, say, a nearby village or restaurant. This was shown by the fact that apart from watching television there was little to do in the evening. |

A very good, modern hotel. Located close to the temples. Wi-fi working well here. Food was of a very average quality and taste. Both breakfast and dinner. |

for the little time we spent in the hotel, it was very relaxing, and the gardens are beautiful with a view of the temples. had an excellent dinner on the last night. hotel was very difficult to find, wouldn't have managed without GPS, the roads are very dark. The dogs were a bit of a nuisance. |

That the issue that we brought to the attention of the staff was resolved quickly; the breakfast was good; area quite relaxing. Good wine list. The first room we were assigned was not what we had booked through booking.com - it was much smaller than shown on the internet site. Moreover, the receptionist did not seem to recognize very well this booking through booking.com. When we complained that the room was not up to par with the internet site, the manager reassigned us to another room immediately once he learned that the booking came through booking.com... So I guess he gives it recognition. The location is hard to find and directions are not clear enough. Lacks atmosphere in the dining room (with lights too bright) few staff. The advertised "welcome drink" only materialized at the dinner table as a prosecco... Should have been offered upon arrival. Nothing to do on site. |

The hotel is near the Agrigento Archeological site and you can see the temples in the distance. Also there is a sister hotel at the sea side. |

the room was spacious and comfortable. It was very noisy - we could see the auto strata, difficult to find and hotel let their wild dogs run about and even chased our car up the road. |

The hotel was nice despite the location was outside of the city, so you need your own vehicle if you would like to stay in the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel was very nice and the food was delicious (We had fisherman's risotto and seebass, both of them were really good) Although it is not direclty hotels fault it is because of the Sicily's poor infrastructure that you can see often through the island; the crosssection of the small road from the hotel to the highway was really dangerous so be carefull. |

Quiet, attractive location in private grounds, set in conservation area. Dinner was served on terrace, with views of archaeological sites in distance. Imaginative dinner menu, well prepared. and varied buffet breakfast. Friendly and courteous staff. No information in room about the hotel. Breakfast card was provided, but was not collected. Poor sound isolation between rooms. Too few staff in dining room (one waiter had to serve all guests, act as wine waiter and service bar). Welcome drink was advertised (but did noit materialise). |

Demetra is located in a nice area good for relaxation. they should open a SPA as well as build a tennis court as they are not allowed yet by the government to install a pool in the area. |

Peace and quiet hotel, beautiful surroundings, very near to Temples Valley. We only stayed 2 nights but we would have liked stayed much more. Magnificent hotel, fantastic room, good breakfast, friendly and efficient staff. In summary a perfect balance between price 100 euros per night and services. When we entered to the room, we encountered a lot of mosquitoes that I had to killed myself just in case. |

Hotel location (5 mins to the beach by foot, and 5 mins to the valley of the temples by car) and staff friendliness were a big plus. The structure is pleasant and the rooms are very clean and quiet. The superior room has a 360 degree view from a 16 sq meters balcony. |

It was very relaxing and quiet. Great rooms. For the prices it is charging it needs to have a pool. I think they are in the process of building one. |

We did not like much about this hotel - it is extremely quiet with very few other guests. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Although the breakfast is served in a pleasant room and was satisfactory, it was so quiet that we felt we had to whisper. The hotel is extremely isolated with no public transport available. This meant that either you have to drive into town for a meal (no drinking !) or eat in the hotel's restaurant, which was small, had a limited menu and high prices. Meanwhile, there are very limited facilities - there is no swimming pool, despite the extensive grounds, the bar was never manned and there was no personality to the hotel at all - it was like staying in an an anonymous airport hotel, anywhere in the world. |
