Reception was friendly and helpful . Room and bathroom comfortable and clean . Good shower . Location convenient for train station and Duomo and surroundings . Next to underground transport . Breakfast was adequate with friendly service . At breakfast we were asked to pay for a second cup of coffee which borders on the rediculous .

Generally I liked my stay there. But soundproof system is very poor. I think you can do smth about it and it becomes better.

The only redeeming factor for this hotel is it's position being only 40 metres from the Metro. Grossly overpriced and did not represent any value for money but you have no choice at exhibition time in Milan. Approx. 185 euros per night for a single room with a shower that barely worked. To add insult to injury they charge for use of free wi-fi at 1 euro per 15 minute installments which just seems so petty. The inclusive breakfast was very poor again when considering the price. The bar area was permanently closed although reception would get a drink if you wanted one. There was no atmosphere at all.

Fantastic localization, in city center, few steps to mainly shoping street (Buenos Aires St.) only 50 m from metro station Lima (5 stops to the Cathedral, direct to San Siro Stadium), 10 m from bus-stotp (line 60 to Central Train Station - conection by Malpensa Express with Malpensa Airport). Friendly and helpful staff. I had a double room with balcony - to the calm street side (opposit side is from a bit noisy street); worth to ask for them. Hotel needs renovation, rooms are old and low equipped. Poor breakfast, every day the same.

Breakfast is served from 7:30 and there is no flexibility. If you have to leave prior they are not willing to assist and organise a coffee or juice earlier for you.

Location Only Italian TV channels, all films dubbed to italian. I changed to Englis titles and sub titles - nothing happened. Staff unawere how to handle it, got no help. Not even CNN or BBC availiable. Not suited for international customers if you want to watch a movie or news.

The Demidoff is a no frills hotel. Its essentially a place for you to sleep and have a light breakfast. The staff is relatively friendly, although they seemed delighted to see me check out.

The 3 reception staff I met during my 2 night stay were more than helpful especially as Milan had 2 metro strikes during the period of my stay\ and toursist information offices alos partly closed. Breakfast was fine and waitresses helpful to meet my needs. Room clean and tidy and had a good sized bathroom with clean towels every day. A very good location matched by an excellent price for central Milan, highly recommended

The staff was very friendly at most times. The room service was more than perfect. They left the room shining every morning. The location was just perfect!; Just a few meters away from the metro station and opposite to a bus station. The breakfast was a bit poor. It was good for a continental breakfast though but the variety was kind of limited and even the available options were not that great.
