Hotel Dolomiti is a nice and comfortable property right in the center of Rome, less than half a mile from Roma Termini main Railroad and Metro Station (Lines A and B). Wi-Fi is free throughout.

Hotel Dock is only 400 metres from Policlinico Metro Station and 600 metres from Bologna Metro Station in Rome. It offers air-conditioned rooms, a 24-hour reception and a continental buffet breakfast....
Score from 48 reviews Good 7.9/10
Hotel Derby's charm is in its staff. I had many great conversations with Georgio, Angelo and Stephano. They were very helpful and full advice on how to enjoy Rome. The hotel is also situated close to the major sites and close enough to Central Rome.
The single room was a bit small as well as the shower.
only 4 train stops from Termini station. Comfortable clean hotel, friendly helpful staff
Asking for coffee cups, as there was very little
The hotel was clean, calm, well-equipped and enjoyable. The staff were extremely helpful and the room was kept clean by great cleaners. Breakfast was a free buffet which was fantastic for my friend and I as we were saving money as we went on our travels around Europe. We would definitely recommend this hotel- great value for money. Thanks to the crew at Hotel Derby!
Friendly and helpful staff. Even offered me a pre-packed breakfast for a early morning flight. I would recommend this hotel to others.
Nothing worth reporting.
Hotel room was beautiful, we have got a room with massive balcony. breakfast was very good too. staff, reception were very friendly. On the day we arrived it was late and we were very hungry. Reception guided us on very good restaurants around. On weekdays - Metro stop garbatella can be accessible easily by buses or a 10-15 min walk. definitely we will come back here when we are in Rome again.
Public buses in weekends in Rome was a joke. Heater-hot water takes a while to kick in, had to call a couple of times during evening shower. But staff was patient and helpful. They fixed problem.
Staff is awesome, very kind, supportive. You will need them if you want to make the best out of a short visit to Rome
The elevator only reaches the 3rd floor, so we had to carry our luggage up to the 4th floor. The Location is too far, so while we saved on the room price, we had to pay a lot for taxies.
The staff was very friendly, helpful, and kind, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location is great: just a few minutes walk to Garbatella subway which is only a couple of stops away from most of the main attractions. A nice breakfast is included (coffee at the buffet table or espresso on request at the bar) with cheese, cold meats, fruit etc. It's hard to beat this hotel for the price.
It is only a very small thing, but it would be nice if there was a toaster available at the breakfast buffet.
show the bus line from Metro to hotel on introduction
Good position - 10 minutes walk to Garbatella metro station, 2 Bus stops in 50 m from the hotel. City Centre is as far as 10-15 minutes trip with metro. Personnel - very helpful (all of them !). If you need anything all you have to do is ask. We made our reservation for Villa Borghese trogh the very kind receptionist. Room 402 and other 5 or 6 rooms has very large terraces with pitoresque view over the lively neighbourhood. Lots of restaurants and bars very close to hotel ( good food&beverages&coffe for decent prices).
Breakfast could have been a little more variate, although very good.
Calm area, about 7 minutes walk from the metro. The breakfast is ok but always the same. Staff is helpful. Quite a lot of restaurants in the area. Overall, a good place to stay when visiting Rome.
Bathroom could have been cleaner. Some of the furniture was a bit old.
Everything was perfect in our oppinion! Great personell, allways ready to help, big clean rooms, cleaned daily!, V good location, good breakfast. We recomend!
Nice clean room, good breakfast selection, good resturants near by and English speaking staff.
A bit further away from centeral Rome and a good 10-15 mins walk from the nearest train station.
Front desk staff is excellent. Giorgio and Stefanio were very helpful, cheerful and professional. Another front desk clerk, don't remember his name, older of the two was extremely kind when I came back to the hotel with a sprained ankle and proceeded to get me ice. Staff is wonderful! Easy to get to downtown buy bus or metro. Lovely restaurant down the street that sells great pizza and wine.
Another reviewer mentioned it was in a "sketchy" neighborhood. It's not! It's in a middle class urban neighborhood. Not fancy but safe.
The rooms are clean and the furniture is in perfect condition. The staff were really helpful.
Nothing really. Perhaps those who are not fan of walking wouldn't like the 10 minutes walk to the underground (metro) station.
This was a great hotel in the heart of Garbetella, a nice suburb of Rome very close to Roma Tre University. Gorgio, at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the breakfast included was perfect. The terrace was a great place to relax. We would stay here again.
Everthing-classifies as value for money
The staff is very friendly, and are always keen to help. They know the city very well and can recommend you places to go.
Close from the city centre Quite places Nice popular side Courtesy of personnel
No parking Poor breakfast Old furniture
nice, quiet atmosphere friendliness, co-operation next to busstop centre nice restaurant close by
not really a bar to have a drink with others terrace could be nicer
Hotel is a bit old, but renovated. Rooms are clean and comfortable enough for someone who spends the day outside. Hotel is located in a resedential area - that means you have to travel about 20 minutes to the city centre (10 min walk and aprox. 10 min by underground), the neighborhood is calm and there are some pleasant restaurants, bars and caffes.
Comfortable amd convenient
great position (10min away from subway, 3 stations to Collosseum), personal was just amazing and very kind, friendly and helped us any time and even tried to give us some advice (best restaurants arround - and it was really not expensive and extra delicious where all the locals went for pizza but also for the fruit of the sea, pasta etc; or advice how to get to the airport by the cheapest way), the room was nice and well cleaned
a bit strange smell of the water pipeline in the bathroom but nothing very bad
Derby is a cosy small hotel located in a quiet area, 10 minutes walk from a metro station. Nice neighborhood ensures safety when you walk back to the hotel at night. Price/quality ratio is the best one can get anywhere. Tea/coffee provided in the evening is a nice compliment. I stayed with my two friends.
There are no English (or any language other than Italian) channels on TV.
We chose the hotel because it was close to the CTO hospital. The room and bathroom were grear but not that big. Buffet breakfast and coffee making facilities were great and staff were too. We had a balcony but didn't need to use, it was winter anyway.
In the evenings when we got back the centre of Rome I would walk in the area where the hotel was but I found it very dreary. If not for the hospital visit I would have prefered to spend the same money for a hotel more central.
good position in a nice location (Garbatella) excellent breakfast
