The staff were friendly, professional, and went out of their way to help with problems we encountered due to external causes. They gave our stay in Napoli a welcome, local human touch for which we are profoundly grateful.
cake for breakfast!
- 24h desk - location - room was cleaned every day - new towels every day - staff
- poor WiFi signal (maybe only in my room; signal in the bar was much better) - drain of shower was blocked - breakfast
The staff were brilliant. They were incredibly helpful in making our stay the best it possibly be. They were very knowledgable and provided excellent advice. I cannot praise them enough.
Location was close to a metro stop from the train station. The location was in the heart of the Centro Storico and right in the middle of the San Gennaro Festival. Could walk to the main museum, Museo Archeologico. The staff was there day and night and provided great recommendations for eating and drinking. Breakfast was included, it was minimal but satisfying. Wifi! Comfortable rooms.
Very friendly and welcoming reception. Hotel is on 2nd floor of an apartment building. Have to go through a typical Napolitan courtyard and take an elevator or stairs. Spacious and clean quadruple room with high ceilings and small balcony facing street. And 4 single beds, as requested. Good A/C, though a bit noisy when on. Didn't use breakfast. It seems to be simple Italian breakfast, but sufficient. Else, there are 2 coffeebars right in front of the building. Location is very good. Very short walk to Duomo, Cavour, old city centre and Via dei Tribunali (pizza street).
Hotel is a bit hard to find from streetlevel. Look up for banners indicating the hotel. Remember the door number. WiFi was flaky in our room. Many drop-outs. Double pane glass windowdoors shut out most noise from the street. But be aware, that Naples is a noisy city. Decoration of the room is a bit dated. Some wallpaper in room was poorly done and is letting go. Should be easy to fix this.
staff was very friendly and helpful! nice athmosphere all together, I could change my room as the one next to the reception was a bit noisy, perfect location close to many things to visit
it is noticable that the facilities are a bit old already, level of cleanliness ok, very basic breakfast but great coffee
Location Front desk staff especially Stefan Internet
Excellent location for the sights of Naples. Staff very friendly and happy to please.
Room décor and fittings a bit tired and dated. Some rooms too small for two people and luggage etc.
Coffee Advice for travel Location Simplicity The building itself The view & the wonderful Staff
Staff were very helpful and keen to help.
Room was dusty in corners. Walls were thin. Wardrobe needed a ladder to reach rail it was so high. Hotel was a bit tricky to find-very small sign on outer door.
The staff, and pretty much everything else. After a trek from the train station through...er...an interesting neighbourhood thinking 1 night in Naples would have been enough, this place changed that.
The breakfast was amusingly basic, but still the friendliness won us over.
Very warm welcome, good location, good prize, airco, good advice
Friendliness of the employees. Location of the hotel. Big Room Sizes. Antiquity of the hotel. Clean.
Breakfast was poor. AC didn't have the remote available. Not Sound Proof rooms.
Staff were excellent.
I love the old world charm of the hotel. We had a four person room which gave us a huge room with high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows. I am not sure if the other rooms are similar and can imagine some of them might be dark, but we loved our room.
Wonderful, friendly staff, with clean room, and a perfect location right in the heart of the old centre of Naples.
The desk staff was not only helpful and friendly, but also good company while we were waiting for other people in our party to be ready to go out. The whole atmosphere was really very pleasant.
The breakfast was the worst of the whole trip (though the lady serving it was delightful). But no hotel (that I can afford) has a real barista and espresso machine. They just have a push-button automat. Some are passable, but this one was not. In any event, not to have great coffee in the morning in Italy is to waste a good portion of your airfare, I say. So just go off to the "bars" near your hotel and have the real thing. Certainly don't pay extra for breakfast at the hotel.
The staff were particularly friendly and helpful
It was difficult to find the hotel in the dark because the sign is not very obvious, even though we had the right address
Friendly staff, simply clean and tidy , we certainly got value for money . facilities were as you'd expect and good , best thing is the location .
All fairly good standard
Hospitable and helpful staff, quiet at night, clean.
The hotel badly needs a refurbishment. Breakfast was poor, room small, window glass broken and non-transparent, bed uncomfortable
staff are very pleasant, helpful and familiar with important attractions in central Naples. Comfortable though not luxurious accommodations.
Our room was a bit small but adequate.
The staff was super friendly and helpful and spoke very good English. They gave us some great tips about getting around Naples, things to see, eat, etc. The B&B is very close to several pizzerias, all very delicious and priced well under those we visited in Rome. Also close by was the National Archaeological Museum.
The breakfast was a little disappointing (but not terrible). The problem might be that we waited until the tail end when everything was pretty picked over. Luckily for us there was a great cafe next door that had pastries and coffee for good prices.
For a modestly priced hotel, it was clean, efficient, quiet, well located, and the staff were friendly and very helpful especially with regard to detailed tourist information. We stayed for 5 nights and it felt like our Naples 'home'.
It was in between seasons and a little more heat would have been good.
The location was great and the staff was great. The girl at the front desk was extremely helpful and gave great locations to visit.
The beds were extremely uncomfortable. I didn't think it would be a big deal, but after a long day out walking it really makes a difference.
Location is ok, near via Tribunali, metro station and around 15 minutes from train station. Room is spacious, comfortable and quiet. Staff was very helpful. Good value for money.
I was a little disappointed with the breakfast, but this is Italy, so you cannot expect a lot. WiFi was working only at certain places in my room.
