Advice: get detailed directions getting there, and if you drive, be aware of the limited traffic zone.
Space in rooms limited. (Not a huge concern, but could be more difficult with younger children.)
Staff was super. Made us comfortable. Breakfast nice with cereal, cakes, meats, yogurt, fresh OJ. Location was great: 15 min walk to archaeology museum.
Staff coordinated parking for us, which was very helpful.
I did not have the right mental picture for Naples or this hotel. Naples itself feels like you are in a large city, with all socioeconomic levels. Arriving for the first time at night, you will be surprised to find the "hotel" sits behind large doors and wall, which is so non-descript you might think you're in the Middle Ages where one has to hide one's wealth and keep everything in the inner sanctum. Once we found the door, and rang, we got inside, and in a large building the hotel occupies part of one floor...behind the fortress like wall. Here, we met gracious hosts, enjoyed nice rooms with effective working AC. No views or anything unusual beyond great customer service and a safe place in Naples from which to venture forth.
With directions from the host, I was able to take a train to Ercolano and walk to Archaeology museum. We drove to Pompeii and thanks to Europacar got free parking there (who knew?)
Great to stay at a place like this so you can see Naples archaeology museum on the trip, and enjoy some Naples pizza or ragu sauce (but we were less wowed by food than the sights).
If I were to stay again in Naples, I would come here again. I would rethink car transportation, since the train south is inexpensive and only about 1.5 mile walk away.
