Diamantino is located ideally for Padua downtown sightseeing. Stingy policy with respect to changing sheets and towels. Inadequate breakfast. |

Great value for money. The owner tries very hard to make his guests feel at home. The location is great too. If you need a hotel for a weekend trip to Padua/Venice, this is a good choice. |

location, cleanliness of room, friendliness of staff, excellent soundproofing from square outside. Breakfast was served in a small cafe next door (or on the Sunday we were there in another cafe in a nearby square)where the staff were always very friendly and delighted to see people from the Diamintino it's a very small hotel so outside check in times there are no staff available. I'm not sure what would have happened if we'd locked ourselves out of the building but luckily it never happened. |

As long as you can speak a few words of Italian/Spanish/English this is the perfect Town House for a city break or as a base to explore Venice/ the local spas and the beautiful local countryside. There are only 6 rooms - 3 on each floor and it is all beautifully designed but if you want 24 hr room service and an international chain it will not appeal. Our son is a student there so on our 2 weekend visits, we all loved it, but he was there to explain & interpret for us. We loved eating breakfast at the cafe next door, sitting out in the square, but if you do not like "continental breakfasts" it will not suit you. We loved everything ! The building is so old and the modern ensuite facilities have been beautifully designed to be 5 star but at 3 star prices. |

You have to realise that this is not a hotel but a number of rooms right in the centre of old Padua which is largely unstaffed except for a daily (and efficient) cleaner. The proprietor has a jeweller's shop in the same building where he or his wife can usually be found within normal shop hours. He is the most delightful man and will do anything he can to help. The lack of a telephone in the room was for me a disadvantage although the proprietor, typically, let me use his shop one on two occasions to telephone my wife in England and without charge. The breakfast offered in the cafe next door was minimal, more a snack than a meal. Although I realise that many Italians find this enough, it is not really up to international standards. |

The proprietor was really nice. He made special arrangements to let us leave the luggage in our room past checkout. He took time out from his Sunday to come back to the town house and carry our luggage down the many flights of stairs. We had the room on the top floor courtside. The check-in time was only for 2 hours. We made it in time, but I felt a little pressure to catch an earlier train so we would arrive on time. |

Room was very elegant and clean. I have never seen an unoccupied hotel before. Booking is possible only within 2 hours in the afternoon - we informed about late arrival but the doors were closed. Hot water ran out. Breakfast was in a bar next door: only a cup of coffee and a croisant. |

home-like atmosphere and excellent location noise on Saturday nights, if you open a window. But one can not expect anything else living at the historic downtown. |

La ubicación en el centro neurálgico de la ciudad, sus instalaciones y el trato afable de Paolo y su señora. El desayuno es escaso y el restaurante, aunque cerca del hotel, es pequeño. |
