Quite a funny place - really a part of a huge flat (owner's family living there) in a baroque palace. Room also palace-like, with old furniture, extremely high cellings with frescoes and smell of antiquity... Very small bathroom

Location, location, location. Design of the bulding is also great. Typical B&B deseases: you feel like you are visiting an aunt, not staying in the hotel. No staff when you need them, housekeeping is weak, room and bathroom are not soundproofed properly, towels are some sort of cut bedlinen that are always wet, water temperature in shower fluctuates a lot.

Lovely large room, friendly owner, very varied and substantial breakfast. Excellent location and lovely to stay in an Italian home and not just standard hotel. Shower a bit small and problems with the hot water for first couple of days but this was fixed.

The 16th century building had real personality. Location was excellent for visiting the Tower and other sites. Train station within walking distance but not recommended to try to find it in the dark...I Think it would be difficult to,find. We took a taxi the evening we arrived from the train and we were very happy we did. We easily walked to the train station when we ended our stay. Our hostess was very accommodating. The breakfasts that she served was very nice....even had candles lit on the table.... Very nice! When we arrived we needed to ring the door bell to get the outside door unlocked. She unlocked the door from her second floor. We could not find a light switch.....and it was very dark.... We had been on a train for 15 hours and we were dead tired...... Then we found out we had two huge flights of stairs to go up with heavy luggage. Eventually she came to the stairs and helped us with them. In the morning we found out she had a lift......even with all the hassle it was a nice stay.....brace yourself for the "compact bathroom".

We liked the lady who runs the B&B, she gave us a beautiful large room we had an anniversary to celebrate on getting engaged so this was perfect. The building is beautiful and the furniture really makes for a charming hideaway. Thank you!

Very centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go in Pisa. Close to the Tower, lots of restaurants and bars. Didn't realize from the booking that it was a B&B so found it initially hard to find. There was no signage out the front, only the name written next to the doorbell outside the apartments at the stated address.

Quirky bed and breakfast in owners apartment on second floor of 16th century house. Previous guests had described this perfectly. Stay here if you want to have an experience you will never forget (in a good way) this is not just another run of the mill hotel. The breakfast that owner Caterina served was set out like something from the mad hatters tea party with giant teacups and everything from boiled eggs to biscuits to choose from as well as the strongest coffee I have ever tasted. We tried to enjoy quietly so as not to disturb the owners teenager and dog who were fast asleep on the sofa next to us!

I loved the atmosphere of an ancient small palace as well as the familiar treatment given by the owner. Also, the room was big enough for being confortable although the materass was a little bit concave for my back. Although the bathroom was clean and modern, its cylinderical design (very French by the way, with permission of French) was the one conceived for cosmonauts: 1 metre diameter. Guess what happens after a shower...

Very beautiful palazzo in the center of Pisa. We also liked the fact, that there was no air-conditioning, as it would ruin the flair of the building. The breakfast was fabulous. There is an elevator in the building, one just needs to know about it.

When I was booking the room I thought it was going to be in a hotel. So when I arrived at the address and saw just a door bell labeled "Diamore Nobiliare" I was skeptical. But as soon as I got upstairs and met the amazing lady in charge of this B&B all my doubts vanished. The apartment is in a 600 year old building with a beautiful staircase and tall ceilings. The apartment itself is nicely decorated fitting the authentic style of the building. The rooms are clean and spacious (there are two rooms, big and small, I was staying in the small one, which was bigger than any of the rooms my colleagues were staying at in "proper" hotels). Each room has its own bathroom (the bathroom in my room was tiny, but sufficient). There is also free WiFi. The lady is very kind, and the breakfast in the morning pretty good. The location is great with plenty of places around to eat and drink. Next time I'm in Pisa I will definitely stay there again. There was no air conditioning, but the fan was enough, even in the 30C temperatures.

This hotel is a real b&b hotel. The owners of the hotel were most welcoming, friendly and helpful about information on the city, restaurants etc. The hotel has a great localisation - about 10 minutes walk from main attractions, close to the nice restaurants, bars & shops, also close to the bus stops. The room was very clean, comfortable and big. Amazing desing of the room - old furniture around you and specific lighting - all this creates a wonderful and cozy atmosphere - like you were in a completely different ages, really like it! And breakfast was really delicious - a lot of different Italian (but not only) specialities. Really worth staying - excellent hotel in a good price!

This is a charming bed and breakfast on the second floor (there is a lift) of a very old and beautiful converted town house/mini-palazzo, located ten minutes walk from the Duomo, Baptistry and Tower. Also only five to ten minutes walk to some excellent restaurants/bars/cafes and a main shopping/passagiata area (Borgo Stretto). Very conveniently placed for buses to the station/airport, and near the river as well. Because it's the main University area, it is pretty quiet at night - but much busier places are very accessible. We had a beautiful room (if somewhat dark - but that's just how it is), with an amazing trompe l'oeil painted ceiling. The balcony is tiny, but at least is a bit of outside space. The landlady was lovely, and the breakfast was excellent - really charming. We got there late (thank you, Ryanair) and the landlady was out, so we had a puzzling while trying to figure out how to get access (before she came back). There was an "ensuite" in the room - I.E. a well sectioned off area (as you can't build permanent walls in historic buildings) which had a toilet and a large sink - the only shower available was through the landlady's dining room. The other room available also had a problem with their shower. Also, if travelling in season, make sure you ask for a mosquito repellent plug-in on your first night, not your second! The huge mirror (which fills a no-longer-used door frame opposite the bed) takes a bit of getting used to! Not many places to put stuff (forget the massive wardrobe - I'm six feet tall and I couldn't reach the rail, and the lower part is full of stuff). This really is a bed and breakfast - although the room we had was very private, you are living in someone's home, so there will be family and other guests around (plus Tito, the (very well behaved) dog).

This B&B was nice. The hotel owners were helpful when we needed them, but not intrusive in our vacation. Breakfast was good and location was very close to the leaning tower, baptistery, and basilica (5-10 minute walk). We took a bus from the airport to the train station and a 10 Euro taxi to the B&B. We arrived very late in the evening and there were no problems checking in. WiFi worked in the room. Overall a good experience. Bathroom has a very unique, old fashion design. Could be more modern.
