Had to check in before 8
I like the charming old building, very spacious room in typical Italian style...beautiful! Good location, easy to reach from Central Station and close to sight-seeings. Very nice and helpful owner and son. Thank you for the good service!
The guy cleaning the room was nice and polite
The owner of the hotel is little rude. She didn't reply our message after we asked her for controller of the air conditioner. It's super cold in the room!! And the toilet is small. The quilt was not clean.
The Senora was very friendly and had a great eye for detail in the furnishings of the rooms. Ours had a beautiful painted ceiling - worthy of a "noble" house
The place was a quirky hostel like old-style Italian stay. It was convenient to walk into the old district and the room was very clean and comfortable.
The hot water for the shower would come and go, but the building is historical so, I wasn't expecting better than that.
Very big and nice room early checkin possible and smooth checkout
walls very thin, any noise in the common area was heard in the room. there was someone playing a loud game on the computer in the hall all day and evening. There is no breakfast, so not really B&B although on the site it said B&B.
The location was central to the town and the station. The woman who provided breakfast was perfectly pleasant and the coffee was nice. Everything was clean and tidy.
We arrived at around 6.30 (having informed that we would be late) to find a street door with no name for the bell on it and no means of getting in. We were just trying to work out how to phone when a very non communicative man from a shop came with the key and pointed to a gate. When we went upstairs it was very confusing as our door had no number on it and the key needed a lot of jiggling to get in. We tried the wrong door and upset a lady inside in the process! The mattress was very uncomfortable. The room was a little weird and the private bathroom was not at all private.
Good location. Friendly and helpful staff. God breakfast.
The best feature was the location - a 3 block walk to the Squre of Miracles & the tower. This historic building - high ceilings, heavy drapery, heavy doors is between the tower of Pisa and the river in the old city center. You step back in time as you go through the gated archway into the courtyard. It is easy to imagine carriages rumbling through. It appears there are 2 or 3 rooms in a home converted to apartments. The bathroom was built into the room. The large buffet breakfast was served in a small room off the entry. The hostess has an apartment on the same floor. There are restaurants on this street and tucked away on tiny squares nearby.
Overall this was a good experience. The hostess was rushed on our arrival. The lights in the entry room were on motion detectors set on a short period leaving us in the dark to fumble with the big old room key. The lock on the bedroom door was difficult to operate, but, like the room, it is a period piece. The lock to the entry room was fine.
good location, clean , large rooms
really uncomfortable spring mattress bed, mosquitos, noise from neighborhood, breakfast
Excellent location to the Tower and many restaurants nearby! Clean, spacious, very quaint rooms. Lovely old building - interesting. Lift worked well, good A/C and parking nearby. Owner was very courteous and extremely helpful!! Thank you!! Breakfast was nice with a good selection! Highly recommend. Excellent value for the money.
Its like a room within an appartment kind of place and has bit of an odd atmoshphere, which is a bit creepy at first but its more like romantic/authentic. Spacious room with balcony, very clean (room as well as bathroom), location (walking distance from leaning tower), owners were nice, good wifi. Entrance was not easy to find but its not such an issue (address and bell are a big brown door, but had to enter through gate at the right of the door then take the elevator to the second floor). If you like out-of-the-ordinary places this is highly recommendable.
Breakfast was not my thing (lot of sweet cakes and pastry, only white toast bread, only triangle spreadable cheese, furthermore boiled eggs, jam, choco and ham, no fresh fruit or vegetables). After check-out (which is early, at 10:30) the only place to temporarily leave ur luggage is in the hallway (accessible to other guests and cleaners). Our room was directly adjacent to the kitchen (only a matglass wall and part of the hallway in between) so in the morning we were woken up by the owner who was preparing breakfast and by the sound of the automatic light of the hallway. I dont know how soundproof the other rooms are.
I liked all
The building was 600 years old, very interesting
Sanifliw toilet was too noisy
Location: - Walking distance from the station <15mins. - Walking distance to the Tower and Cathedral <10mins. - Lots of good, cheap places to eat nearby. Value: - Large, comfortable room. - Lots of storage (although we did not use it). - Good shower, although the cubicle is small. - Unlimited WiFi - very useful! - For a small, private, B&B, breakfast was great and plentiful. And finally: - Marta is a wonderful hostess. She was patient with my misunderstandings, attentive at breakfast and organised our very early taxi to the airport. Dimora Nobiliare is a quirky little B&B, established in a grand old building right on the main street to the Tower. The address is at No 19, but guests enter through the gate to No 21, in order to use the lift. If we go back to Pisa, this is where we will stay.
There isn't much to not like, but I would suggest a couple of improvements. - The fly screen and shutters need some attention. It was hard to track down the mosquito that was pestering us on our second night! - The bed is good, but not great. Perhaps a deeper mattress is all that is needed. Overall, these were minor distractions from a lovely stay.
Beautiful spacious room, great location close to sights, very friendly service.
Relatively noisy from the adjacent breakfast room in the morning. Mosquitos at night.
The room was enormous. The building, pretty old and nice, is located very close to Campo dei Miracoli and to the city centre, too.
The room was next to the breakfast room and so the noise of people having brakfast woke me up each single day. The toilet didn't work very well and often bed smell came from the wc and the shower.
Lovely big comfortable room, excellent location, very friendly and helpful service
a little bit too much noise in the morning from the breakfast room next door
The hotel is close to everything in central Pisa and yet is very quiet. The room was large, and in an interesting old building. There was a reasonable choice of breakfast. The owners are friendly and helpful
The bed sagged a bit in the middle. The bathroom facilities were cramped.
Close to the Tower (5 min) and places to eat. 10 minutes walk from the railway station. Quiet Location.
Location Character of the building and room Friendly and helpful owner Very clean
Breakfast could have been better, some items didn't seem very fresh.
The room setting
It was comfortable & location was great v
It isn't a traditional hotel.
Location was excellent. There was even possible to park our car very near to the hotel (to the same street) free of charge. Breakfast was fine. Room was very nice and tidy.
It was difficult to find a hotel, there were no bigger sign. We had to wait to get in to the hotel, because no one was there (from the staff). But all the rest nice "things" weighed up this inconvenience.
