We liked the proximity of the hotel to all the attractions in Florence as well as being located close to the train station The breakfast was disapointing with little variety. The breakfast staff need training in dealing and speaking to customers. We felt we were a necessary evil. |

Just behind the train station, easy to find. Near the main bus station; opposite the supermarket, easy to buy drink and food. For the receiptist, I think they have 2 shifts, the morning lady is much better. Room is big. I request a double bed, finally it's combined by 2 single beds. No shower curtain install, so after bath, water almost full of bathroom. Not good breakfast, the fried egg had odor. |

Straight across the road from the central train station and walking distance from main sights, markets and shopping. One of the toilet flush buttons not working and no control panel for air con unit in the room. |

The location is very good, near both the bus and rail terminus and not far from the major tourist attractions. The breakfast room is too cramped and there was a lack of available tables at busy times. It is buffet style and there is not much room for guests to move arround carrying hot tea/coffee and food. |

Location is good, very close to the station, double windows to shut some noise from the street. We have requested non-smoking room, but it was not. |

Location, close to the train station. The spring-mattress! Extremely unconfortable, surely not worthy of a 4 star hotel (indeed the worst bed I have ever tried). The room was also very noisy, with an adjecent construction site! |

I loved the hotel. Staff was pretty nice, specially two women who gave me any information I needed. Room was comfort and I liked a lot their breakfast: good variety of food, eggs, a machine to warm my bread and a good machine of coffee. No, I liked everything about the hotel and If I return to Firenze some day I will stay at Diplomat again. |

Location was perfect for exploring the city. The breakfast was very good with plenty of variety. Nice big comfortable bed and good mini bar. The description of the hotel claims there is a cocktail bar. This is not the case, however, there is a bar in the sister hotel just along the street. The room cleaning could have been improved upon. |

The location lived up to its billing. It was easy to access most of the city sights from the Hotel. Despite our reservation, we were moved from the B&H Diplomat to another of their hotels. The one they initially tried to place us in smelled like a sewer, and so we ultimately ended up staying in the Ambassadori (a third hotel owned by the same chain). The Ambassadori is by no stretch of the imagination a four star hotel. More like a 2. The advertised in room internet also did not work. |
