This recently opened hotel offers a prime location close to S. Maria Novella train station and within walking distance of the city centre.

From this modern hotel you are only a few minutes’ walk from Florence's main shopping centre and the congress and exhibition halls. The bus and train stations are very close by, if you plan to travel around the city with minimal hassle.

Start the day with a buffet breakfast in the top floor breakfast room, which features views of the famous Duomo, before walking into the city centre to see a wealth of cultural sights.

Very hot in Rome and we had a very small room for day 1. Air conditioning did not work. I informed reception the following morning and on returning from a days sightseeing, found it was still not working. They sent up a staff member who agreed the room was very hot. They immediately shifted us to a larger room. Air conditioning still not working, but as it was a bigger room, it was better.

Its convenience to train and bus stations as well as easy access by foot to city centre

I stayed in Waldorf Suite. Lacked bar - and bar in Ambascatore was closed because of light failure the evening when I wanted it!

Location

The reservation was not honored as requested, no accommodations were made to remedy the situation initially, and when they finally offered after two nights to remedy the initial problem, the new room literally smelled like a sewer. Hotel management was rude, condescending, and unhelpful. The advertised breakfast was misleading at best.

We got upgraded to the Waldorf Suite which was a complete luxury when you arrive with a backpack! Hotel is in great location - close to railway station and just a five minute walk from the centre of Florence.

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was! We were "upgraded" to the Waldorf Suites next door and it was amazing! Apparently, this hotel acts as central booking for 4 hotels that are all next door to each other. The location was great. Literally across the street from the train station which comes in handy when luggage is involved. We would definately stay there again!!!
