Hotel Diplomatic is located just around the corner from Castel Sant'Angelo and across the river from Rome's historic center. Service is excellent here and the hotel has a terrace. The Spanish Steps are 10 minutes walk away from the Diplomatic Hotel, as is Saint Peter's Basilica. You will have great access to public bus line. City bus tours start from outside the hotel. Rooms are spacious and air conditioned, with satellite TV and a minibar. Some have free Wi-Fi access. Hotel Rooms: 45

We liked that they gave us a suite because they didn't have a room with 2 singles rooms. We also like that it is near the city center (Via del Corso), Ara Pacis museum and that you have to pass throught the river which is wonderful! We think that the breakfast could be with more variety. Also the stuff could be more pleasent.

The location, quality of the building, staff The room had not too many lamps and was therefore not very "romantic". The bathroom was very well build and designed with a lot of marble, it was only rather small.

The staff were always willing to assist me with travel plans, eating choices, and daily activities. The room was bigger than other Italian hotel rooms I have stayed in and the shower was excellent There was a lounge open to guests, but no functioning bar for guests to come home to after a long day of sight-seeing.

Very good hotel for city trip. Excellent location, in 10 minute walk from Basilica di San Pietro. I was in this hotel in February and entrance of my room was from the terrace, tha is why it was very cold at night.

location is perfect. close to Vatican and also close to all the attractions (via del corso 5 min away) on the other side of the river. also there is bus transfer from the airport that stops at the plazza cavour so you do not have to go all the way to termini. rooms are nice and clean. it was good value for the money as we were in Rome in low season I suppose that prices would be higher in high season. breakfast was really poor

The location was great, we were only 20 metres from the airport shuttle stop, and under 10 minute walk to the major shopping strip, Via del Corso. Vatican City was only 15-20min walk away and Trastevere and the Collosseum were the furthest away at around 25-30 mins walk. The room was no frills in terms of decor but it was spacious and clean. The Hotel staff were friendly and the 24 hour reception was very convienient. Breakfast was good, with cereals, fruit, rolls, pastries, yogurt on offer. The beds were pretty uncomfortable, they had hollows in them, really needed new mattresses. Although this hotel claims to offer WiFi, it was not working for the first three nights of our stay. They got it working for the last night, but having seen reviews from others with the same story, I have to wonder about the reliability of the WiFi.

Hemos quedado muy contentos con el hotel. Pensaba buscar uno más barato, pero al final creo que ha merecido la pena. Muy céntrico y con una muy buena atención por parte del personal. La habitación muy buena y el desayuno bastante completo.

отель расположен в центре города, в 10 минутах неспешной прогулки от собора св. петра. но при этом тишина в номерах просто поражает!!! вкусные, но не разнообразные завтраки. очень приветливый персонал. в номерах убирали и меняли полотенца каждый день.
