The terrace was the best thing about the Dolce Vita - wonderful views overlooking the sea. Perfect for a long cool drink at the end of the day. The appartment was supposed to be for 3 people. That meant a sofa bed in a small, dark lounge area. The kitchen was tiny with no natural light. Instead of breakfast at the hotel, guests were supplied wih a voucher for a nearby cafe - one coffee, one OJ and one croissant only. Such a shame they didn't serve breakfast on the lovely terrace. |

The rooms were spacious and very clean. The common terrace in this B&B is fantastic! You will definitely remember the view of the ocean, the sound of the waves crashing against the cliffs below, not to mention the sunsets from this terrace. Cefalu is a gem, and this hotel is well situated to explore the main sights of this enchanting city. The hotel staff are always there to assist you, and they are as friendly as it gets...the Sicilian way I suppose :)! |

Very kind staff. Beautiful terrace. Ocean right outside the window, no sounds from the other rooms. Breakfast at the town square. Big apartment with small kitchen and refrigerator. |

Loved the large room and the slightly faded air of the place. Very convenient to the old town and had access to a large outdoor area with sea views. Enjoyed going to the cafe in the square for breakfast, once we knew the protocol. Space was luxurious. Lots of superb restaurants on the doorstep. Not a dislike just minor inconvenience in that a) room serviced every three days, and b) had to pay the bill in cash as card machine 'out of service'. |

Hotel is perfectly located in the old city of Céfalu. It has a nice common terrace to the sea. Nice personnel. Extremely bad isolation - if you have a chance , ask for a room on the sea side. Breakfast is served in a café in the old city – it could be nice if they would at least give you a real current name of the café ( not surprising that nobody on the street can tell you where is café Rugero , or indicating you a wrong direction, when the café has another name! ). |

Good atmosphere. Central location. Free WIFI!! Barbeque on balcony did not work and everytime we wanted to use the terrace there was already people there. Not enough charis and tables. Rooms were ok but not what expected after reading reviews of Lonely Planet. I think this place is over priced. |

The hotel staff were tremendous and really looked after us. The view from the room priceless. Even managed to find a car parking space close by. |

Cheap and functional with a nice seaview which was unfortunately spoiled by the unprepared terrace. The staff were unhelpful and rude. We did not get the room we were promised, confusing information was given about where to park and the staff were extremely aggressive when we mentioned this. |

Very nice/helpful staff. Our room had a balcony on the street, and the terrace was on the ocean. Close to everything, and easy to find. Can't say enough good things about our stay at the Dolce Vita B&B. |

Frank, the manager at the time, was very nice and helpful!! Hotel location is great, close to the Duomo and sea. Parking is a bit of a problem.. There's a great Pizza place on the Duomo-ask Frank, he recommended it..Cefalu in general is beautiful and a very pleasent town. |

I don' t understand why peoples complain about one or two things and miss the 98 positive things. We turn from two months in Italy throughout b&b and hotels. I think Dolce Vita is in the most beautiful location of all the b&b and hotels that we stayed. It is in the heart of the city above the sea with the quiet that a person search in holiday. Very helpful staff. We will come back definitely!!! |

It is very close to all attractions including the beach. It has wonderful views over the ocean from rooms and the terrace. There are many stairs to climb which can be difficult with suitcases. |
