Wonderful,
Score from 125 reviews
“ What a great place to stay, we had no idea the close proximity to all of the main attractions. We walked and enjoyed all of the sites and food. Our apt was just right in size and we would eat a BIG breakfast with eggs, at home then we could do the street sandwiches on the go! We are coming back in June! ”

The apartment was well-designed and clean, in a great location: only minutes' walk from the forum, colosseum, pantheon etc yet in a quiet side street away from the traffic (double-glazed too). Didn't hear much noise from the guests in the neighbouring apartments. The front desk staff were really friendly, informed and helpful.

The location of the hotel was excellent. We basically walked everywhere from the hotel even with three young kids . The bus to Vatican City was just outside the hotel so it was extremely convenient. The hotel staff were extremely proactive and had emailed us weeks ahead to ask if we needed anything and to confirm our arrival time.

Staff were very helpful. Apartment had a large bedroom, decent lounge/kitchen diner and well appointed bathroom with walk in shower. Coffee and pastry with a ham and cheese toastie provided for breakfast most mornings. Lots to see in Rome. Advertised as having SkyTV but this didnt work. Tiled floor above which transmitted sound of chairs being dragged accross it but worst of all were the workmen using hammer drills into the bedroom wall next door at 7am. The receptionist had complained to the police, but by law they are allowed to start work at 7am!- beware of this in Rome if you want a decent nights sleep. We have suggested to the hotel that this warning is put on their website. We suggest you check with your hotel about construction work before you confirm your booking.

Perfect for a family with young children. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out. Kitchen was perfect for breakfast in our apartment. The apartment was very modern and updated but still charming. Staff was the highlight - super recommendations for tours and restaurants; very helpful - told us exactly the fare to pay for the taxi; extremely accommodating when we arrived at midnight after a late flight - we will definitely return!

The hotel staff were all fantastic and very helpful. We had a warm welcome, even late at night. A map of the city was very useful. Excellent central location, close to shops, good restaurants and main attractions. Not that hard to find if your print out a map and google the address to have a look at the place. No need to have breakfast at the hotel, as there are many places around to have a cup of coffee and a croissant. It would have been nice to be have tea and coffee facilities. Toiletries were a bit small.

Excellent location, all main sightseeings are within walking course. Helpful and friendly staff. Clean, cosy and comfortable room. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops are nearby. The tiled floor is a bit cold (in november) but slippers aren't offered. There wasn't microwave oven in my room and on my last day I knew they could give it to me if I had asked.

Really was a small apartment (not hotel room), best size room we had on the whole trip. Room to spread out, couch to watch tv etc. Young staff, very willing to help. Very central to most of the sights - easy walking distance.

Great location, we could walk to all major monuments. The staff were very helpful. The room was very spacious and cleaned daily. Having our own kitchen and washing machine was a major bonus. A supermarket is about 2 blocks away. The foyer has a machine that makes great coffees and hot chocolates for only 50 cents, we made it a routine to get one every night when returning from a day of sight seeing. I'd highly recommend Dolce Vita Residence to anyone!! The only issue we had (which is not the fault of Dolce Vita Residence) was the occassional loud noise coming from the alley at night. We were on the first floor, so were closest to the restaurant below. This was only an issue twice during our 5 night stay, and loud street noises would probably be experienced at most hotels in Rome (eg, police sirens). This experience would not prevent me from booking with them again. We had a great stay.
