I like the ambiance of Dolcefarniente. It is really homey and cozy, with the dining area and balcony situated a few steps from our room. And the location is superb! It's just a 2-minute walk from the Vatican.

We need to take several plights of stairs because there is no lift. This would be terrible for people who were heavily packed. And the receptionist only speaks Italian.

Clean, comfortable little appartment styled shabbl/chic.. A lot of care gone into making homely. Only a few steps tothe Vatican for sightseeing.

No sign/ame outside to indicate its ocation. An awful lot of steps to carry luggage up as rooms are on top floor. No staff on site should there be a problem though I had no problem at all.

The actual location of the building was very close to St. Peter's Square and many ancient sights around such as the Colosseum.It was also within walking distance to the stunning Botanical Gardens at Trastevere and much, much more. The look of the Dolcefarniente was beautifully styled and the facilities were good, very clean and bright.

The information given told us that booking-in time was 12.00 to 5.00 but we were unable to gain access to our room until 2.00 because no staff was on site. We also did not realise that the Dolcefarniente was up nine flights of stairs! A bit of a problem lugging our cases unaided up those.

Cosy, newly refurbished in nice shades of white, good location, homey, family owned, very friendly.

Maybe price should be slightly smaller. In the end it's a B&B on the 4th floor with steep stairs without elevator - this should be announced since some people might not be able to climb up there with luggage.

Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. 3 rooms around common area with free tea coffee and sweet snacks available all day. Quiet, central location. Aircon.

Up 4 flights of stairs with no lift - could be a problem for some! Ran out of tea on our second day, not restocked and no way of calling anyone about it. It would have been nice to have some contact details for someone in case of a problem. Does not take credit/debit cards

This is actually more like an apartment than a hotel. There are 3/4 bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom in it. The rooms are super clean just making you feel like at home. I love the simple but pretty Mediterranean style! There are always free snacks and beverage in the kitchen and sitting on the chair in the balcony and having breakfast is my favorite thing there. The apartment is with air condition and it is just located 5 min walking to Vatican.

I didn't know that the only check-in hour is 10-12 in the morning, so the first time I went there (3:00pm) I got locked out downstairs (the hotel is up on the 5th floor in an apartment building). I hit the ring but no one let me in so I had to borrow a phone to call them. And I ended up waiting for more than half an hour to finally check in. It wasn't such a pleasant experience but other than that, everything is perfect!

Beautiful room and dining room, small balcony off the dining room. Very small and personal. Self-service breakfast items available at all times, so if you want to make yourself a coffee or tea and biscuits in the evening, it's not a problem. Let me keep a front door key and leave my bag until 4pm, even though I only stayed one night and checked out at 10. Free wifi, with a good enough signal to Skype clearly. Air conditioning (necessary when it was 35 degrees outside!). Easy access from metro. Very good place to be for just walking and exploring Rome.

9 flights of stairs and no lift (not a problem for me, but should be mentioned!!), No name on the door (apparently not allowed, as in a conservation area) so you need to be very sure of address (it's at the top of an apartment building). No name even on the bell, to tell you which one to ring (which is surely allowed, even in a protected area!!)

mancanza dell'ascensore ... lo rende poco adatto ad anziani e bagaglio "notevole"... ma è un piccolo difetto

Il bed amd breakfast è estremamente pulito ed elegante..comodissimo ai mezzi

Una delle stanze ha il bagno privato esterno alla camera. Peccato poi per la mancanza dell'ascensore.

La stanza, abbastanza ordinata e pulita.

Mancanza assoluta di assistenza. Televisore non funzionante. Non è stato possibile chiedere a nessuno se e come farlo funzionare. Colazione al mattino? Brioche o biscotti confezionati ed una macchina per fare il caffè (come cavolo funziona) e senza latte. Il B. & B. situato all'ultimo piano di un palazzo abbastanza fatiscente con diverse rampe di scale e senza ascensore.

Praticamente tutto, l'arredo ha uno stile eccezionale, la posizione è perfetta per girare Roma, a qualche passo da città del vaticano e comunque il centro storico è raggiungibile in una passeggiata, le camere sono ottime ed il terrazzo perfetto per rilassarsi al tramonto dopo una giornata in giro per Roma

Struttura perfettamente posizionata, servizi ottimi, la cucina è attrezzata con tutti I confort ed è possibile utilizzarla a qualsiasi ora.... Poi è un angolo di parigi in pieno centro a Roma... Davvero consigliabile a tutti...

L'unico gap è la scalinata, ma ne vale la pena per la bella vista della terrazza...

La posizione e l'arredamento, veramente carino!

Quattro piani senza ascensore... e la colazione un po' troppo fai da te.

La camera era molto spaziosa e pulita. La casa è estremamente accogliente e con una terrazza molto grande dove sorseggiare un buon vino, bagno grande e pulito.

La casa è al quarto piano senza ascensore, non emettono fattura ma solo una ricevuta (per nulla utile a fini fiscali).

Posizione a due passi dalla Basilica di San Pietro. Zona comunque silenziosa anche di notte

Les propriétaires sont très arrangeant! Arrivé à 9h30, notre chambre était déjà prête et disponible. Nous avons pu sans aucun problème laisser nos valises à l'intérieur jusqu'à notre départ, 15h. Propre, très jolie décoration, tout le confort nécessaire à un séjour très agréable. Les lits sont fait tous les jours et dans la plus grande discretion. A recommander sans hésiter!

Pour un jeune couple aucun problème, en revanche en cas de problème de mobilité, l'appartement est au 4ème sans ascenceur. Pour nous cela n'a posé aucun problème.

Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es ist sehr sauber. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich.

71 Stufen bis zum b&b sind etwas beschwerlich ohne Aufzug und leider kann man ohne Italienischkenntnisse sehr schlecht kommunizieren, da nur einer der beiden Betreiber des b&b englisch spricht

Sehr gute Lage, 3 Minute bis zum Vatikan. Metro Station keine 1o Minuten entfernt. Im Viertel Bars und Restaurants zu günstigen Preisen bei guter Qualität. Zimmer im vierten Stock ohne Lift, daher beschwerlich für Ältere und Fußlahme. Ansonsten rundum zu empfehlen bei hervorragenden Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis für Rom.

Davvero una piacevole sorpresa. Gentilissima la titolare, stanze nuove e pulitissime. Posizione comodissima per girare la città con metro e bus. Sarà il mio punto di riferimento per tutti i futuri soggiorni a Roma.

L'unico neo è costituito dalla mancanza dell'ascensore. I 4 piani da fare ne sconsigliano l'utilizzo alle persone anziane. IN ogni caso è davvero un elemento trascurabile per tutti i vantaggi che ha.

Quasi tutto: location (a 50 m dalle mura del Vaticano e a 100 da San Pietro...), tranquillità, silenzio, pulizia, il fatto di avere disponibile una piccola cucina, l'indipendenza... Superiore alle aspettative. :-)

Diciamo che l'unico "minus", che poi per me non lo era nemmeno tanto, è che non c'è l'ascensore... Ma se qualche piano di scale non vi spaventa, questo posto è un gioiellino. :-)

Arredamento molto accogliente e posizione invidiabile. Cortesia della giovane che gestisce la struttura.

Molte scale ripide per arrivare al piano interessato senza ascensore al 5 piano con bagagli. Inoltre mancanza di parcheggio e/o garage riservato della struttura ma solo garage di terzi a pagamento.
