The decor is beautiful, the atmosphere elegant warm and friendly. This is a top level beautiful experience.
The hotel is a very stylish and beautifully decorated, close to most major attractions in Rome. I'm an aficionado of 5 star boutique hotels that combine class, luxury, modern design and comfort. The Dom hotel has it all. My fiancee and I really loooved it!
The TV is built into a large mirror that faces the bed and is totally invisible until you turn it on, which as such is very innovative and discrete, however I assume that sometimes too much technology is at the detriment of functionality. We had to ask for support at least 3-4 times just to be able to switch channels.
Extremely kind staff, very confortable and elegant rooms. The location is perfect, very near the most beautiful piazza in Rome.
Great hotel with great facilities. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed and all mod cons in contemporary surroundings. Location couldn't be better, in between Coluseum and Vatican Square.
No hair dryer!
The hotel rooms and interior are simply great! Very friendly staff and excellent location make this hotel of choice for my next visit to Rome.
Very friendly staff and very comfortable hotel. It's a bit small hotel but it is luxury with its services.
bathroom shower and bed seriously lovely
FAB brekky, location is wonderful and we walked everywhere around Rome. Great size rooms and fab room facilities!
water issues on our second day so could not have a shower before we went out, wash our hands, go to the toilet etc but not the fault of the hotel.
The service was gracious and responsive. The room was clean, housekeeping was extraordinarily good. Modern everything. Air conditioning: Great. Shower: Heavenly. Television: Stupendous! Mattress: Soooo comfy. Breakfast: Delicious and delivered promptly. Location: Wonderful! An A+ experience. Honestly, A+.
The only thing I can think of was, there was not a spectacular view out the window. You looked out onto a surprisingly busy little Roman side street. It is not an ugly street, mind you, but not visually interesting either. No big deal for us. Maybe some people really care about the view, but as for us, not so important. The delights of this hotel more than outweigh the one teeny tiny negative.
I think the restaurant is very good but we didn't have opportunity to trie.
Beautifully fitted out, small boutique hotel in a great location.
The hotel was very stylish and probably best suited for a different clientele than myself and my wife. If you want a very cool and very, very expensive hotel and like to stay up late and party, this is the place. I saw a number of other people there, who I am sure were very pleased with the hotel. My wife and I are quiet people, and we don't go out drinking, rather we prefer peace and tranquility and early nights and early morning. The staff was absolutely the best we encountered. The rooms immaculate. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was very stylish.
The description of the hotel claimed to have soundproof rooms and this was a major draw. It turned out to be the noisiest place we stayed on our honeymoon to Italy. Our room was located near a rooftop bar and we heard all of the foot-traffic, conversations, music and waitstaff retrieving supplies from a closet right outside our door. This went on every night till past midnight. However, if we were people who liked to drink at cool bars and stay up late, we wouldn't have minded. Thankfully, on our last night, we were switched to a different room that was quieter. It is a new hotel, but some of the finish construction was obviously rushed. The photography used for decoration throughout the hotel was not particularly good. It was a bizarre assortment of noir themed scantily clad women; street shots; airplanes, Charlie Chaplan as the great dictator and other odd choices. For me personally, the cool factor doesn't carry the same weight it did when I was younger. Don't get me wrong, I do like the XX, though it was played to death every morning during breakfast. And the over all the designer stylishness was fun, but I can't ever again see myself paying so much for "cool." I'd rather pay for a more lit up environment, quiet, simple unpretentious styling and quality finish construction with an eye toward detail combined with the D.O.M.'s incredible staff, cleanliness, and quality bed. But, hey, that's just me...
The staff is amazing and helpful. The location is ideal for those who want a quiet street but still be within a short (10-30 min) walk of nearly all the key attractions.
The bed is a tad hard, the bathroom lacks counter space, the shower is long but very narrow, and the coffee was below average.
The location and style. The bedroom and the bed, bed linen and pillows.
A bit dark and probably a bit too small. Would be nice if they had a pool
Hotel is new and very well designed. It is quite small (about 24 rooms) yet they have roof terrace and restaurant. Internet quality was very good, Rooms have high ceilings and modern noiseless a/c system. Breakfast is not a buffet but very well balanced and helps to do sightseeing till lunch (13-14). Price is a quite high but location is excellent so we have balance here. Staff is very helpful and nice.
Our suite does not have a desk so i had to use luggage holder and my suitcase to make a desk :) The is antimafia ministry across the street so if you are going to wake up later than 9am better have your earplugs ready.
we loved everything!
A secret gem
Great location just far enough away from tourists but close enough to walk and see the sights. Very "cool" hotel. Friendly staff. Great design. Clean.
Hotal location didn't show up properly on google maps.
Fantastice looking hotel with a very up beat vibe interlaced with calm and tranquiltiy, perhaps because of its past as a nunnery. Absolutely loved the decor and the arty feel.
The bath was a little slippery, potentially dangerous.
A very sexy and sleek boutique hotel. Would definitely recommend it!
I really like the location and the building being a historian one ... I liked the colors of furniture and the ambiance ... The roof top garden was amazing ...
I did not like that the hotel did not provide an iron for safety reasons and did not provide a safe iron room instead ... The bathroom lacks a make up magnifying mirror ...
great boutique hotel. great location. great staff.
nothing. everything was great. would stay there again
