Excellent price and location, staff very nice, great breakfast in the morning
We were expecting a 2 bedroom suite, not 1 bedroom, plus a room with single bed and portable bed. Since it was only 1 night stay, we let it go, but it was not very comfortable
Nice rooms, clean and comfortable.
Very poor breakfast tabel. Coffee machines were not working properly. No fresh fruits for breakfast. In our room desc. there was offered free shuttle to nearest metro station. In reality we were advised by staff to take local buss or taxi.
excellent facilities , friendly staff , excellent breakfast ,very good room and bed. only location is slightly far but easy to reach.
It is a hotel confortable for family.
The hotel had suites for 4 people. It was clean and had free WiFi.
The location is not the best. It is about 45 min from the centre of Rome and you have to catch 2 transports to reach it. The minimum I'd ask as compensation was that the staff would tell me the transport alternatives to reach Rome (which are 2: Train and Bus) and at least have the schedule of the 2 buses and of the trains! This information is online, it wouldn't be hard for them to make it available. I found it awkward that such hotel is able to have 4 stars! This must clearly have been some mistake. The room, a suite for 4 people, only had one window and it pointed to the interior of the hotel (to the cleaners rooms actually). As a result we could barely understand if it was already daytime and how was the weather. We could only see outside a tiny garden with clearly artificial grass and some kind of Bonsai tree. And we could see the other rooms interiors, of course (as they could see us as well). The beds were very hard and noisy. The shower handle was already broken when we checked-in and despite I complained in the very first day (and they told me they would fix it), nobody fixed it in the 3 days I was there. The shower temperature was very erratic, ranging from very hot to cold, particularly if somebody would flush the toilet or similar, but even if no one used water, it would still be unstable. The air-conditioner is a joke! It has no remote control and they even blocked the wall command with some piece of plastic, leaving as the only options available the ON/OFF button. And even this button is not reliable, as the device had some kind of timer set which started it automatically every once in a while even if we had set it to OFF. It started in the middle of the night providing a very noisy and freezing blow to the kids which were sleeping right in front of it. When I complained about it, the staff advised me: "open the white board near the room door" (which was the actual room electricity controller board!
Modern, clean accomodation, ample free parking in business/industrial outskirts of Rome. Large breakfast and free wi-fi.
Rooms very noisy. Thin walls and doors, tile floors. For public transport to downtown you first need to take a bus and afterwards metro. In case of bad connection can take a while to get to city centre. Not much in immediate area but there are 2 restaurants and a bar around the corner.
Peaceful location - but with good connection to downtown. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and spacious, modern rooms.
Breakfast was OK - but we would have appreciated more fresh food (vegetables & fruit) instead of sweet cakes. It would have been good to promote the easy connection with bus and subway to downtown in booking.com introduciotn - instead of local train which turned out to be very unreliable.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, Our price included the minibus to take us to the station which was very useful.
No tea or coffee facilities in the room, No locks on the bathroom and it could have been bigger as it was a large bedroom /suite.
Great hotel! Exceptional value! This hotel was perfect for touring Rome. After a. Day of sight seeing and traveling it was very important to be able to come back to a hotel that was clean, cool and comfortable and Hotel Domidea was just that. I also enjoyed the large variety available for breakfast. The surrounding area was also pretty good, especially for being in Rome. I don't normally post ratings or opinions but this hotel really exceeded our expectations.
Good wi fi, close bus stop/metro to Rome, fab restaurant next door.
extremely noisy, tiled floors so you hear every sound from the rooms around you. Breakfast was tedious after the first time of trying.
Modern large room, clean
Good breakfast Spacious room Very clean
Small parking lot Apparently you can't bring food in the room Quite far from metro station
We arrived Hotel a bit early then check in time. But staff was great they cleaned the rooms quickly to get ready for us. Everyone was very friendly. Rooms are very clean and stylish.
The staff was excellent. Courteous, professional and extremely helpful!
The barman was multi lingual helpful & knowledgeable. Hotel very clean.
location, industrial red light district, too far from Rome centre. Ran out of bread & orange juice at breakfast so found out you had to be there before 8-15 am (open 6-30 to 10). Lost clothes from room, Free shuttle mini bus charged for on final bill.
The accommodation was neat and tidy, about 40 minutes from main centre
Communication by the staff, I had sent an email prior to arriving and there was no reply to the email. The email was quite important prior to arrival
Breakfast've seen clients who did not know that breakfast is not included and left them to eat something then came and demanded 15-20 € / pax, it was normal to sit someone with a list and check.Holland family of 6 people did not seem very comfortable with the payment Reception staff very slippery and I payd for this???
-I paid 70% of the adult price for child and did not bring extra bed in the room ,the air conditioning (heating) was not working and said that technically team appears in 1 hour, but has not appeared at all, - they advised me to stop cold air going non stop from General safety panel?!?! - I offered two passports for accommodation and they want in the afternoon child passport ,but child sleeping in mother's arms and I said I'll bring from the room and they block me the card for room 2 times, in the end they said they will not let me enter the room that I paid to not give the child a passport .. They called the police ( RECEPTION ) and police say show them children passport and if I want to file a complaint that I was not allowed to enter the room, but didn't filed a complaint understand a lot but to disturb a baby 1.5 year that's not brave
It was very clean, friendly staff, close to public transportation, good WiFi connection
45 min away from city center
The advertised distant from town was told to be about 4km but it was more like 30, to go to town we needed to take a bus first than into a packed metro. It took us up to an hour or more to get even close to the center of Rome. The staff never gave u a smile and seemed indifferent to our needs, the hotel was in the business districts no choice were to eat and absolutely nothing to do at night. Would not recommend this to anyone very disappointed. Because it was so hard to get to the city we never saw what we came for.
The Breakfast was terrible. The first time in my life that I was waiting for a table. The quality of the food was bad. The staff was unfriendly and stressed.
I like everything and I love the time when I was in domidea
