WiFi availability

The value for money is the top draw. Comfortable and good friendly staff. Being in Guideaca, a short ferry ride from San Macro also has the advantage from being away from the choa and crowd but close enough.

We loved the place the staff and the food was all excellent. They went out of their way to make us feel completely comfortable and did everything that we asked, or that they thought we needed.

Needs a bigger sign to let you know where it is. It was very hard to find as the building does not look like a hotel, just another building or house.

Perfectly clean, looks completely new inside. Good choice for breakfast. Staff extremely nice and helpful. Excellent mini bar package all included. Nice view on the canal. Very good king size bed. Location on Giudecca vey convenient - 3 Vaporetto stops from San Marco

Really nice impression,although it is not in the main island,but it is still convenient by water bus,The room is perfect big,clean ,we do stay warmly for 3 days in Venezie!

The water shower is a little bit wear if the room is on the top floor.

We had very pleasant stay in Domina Home Giudecca. Staff was really friendly and rooms very clean. We highly recommend this hotel for all people valuing quiet and discrete atmosphere, you may fell almost like at home. There is even lovely cat around reception ;) I was reviewing before opinion of other travelers about this hotel and many people complain that for the first time is difficult to find, and actually is not if you get some more info how you get there. You can get water bus No' 2 or No' 4.2 and get off on giudecca stop call palanca, than take your left and after you cross little bridge it will be on the end of the first alley on the right.

There is no english speaking channels in tv and as we stock in the hotel because of flood in Venice there was really nothing to do in the room.

The room is comfortable and very clean. The price is reasonable. Ver silent and pleasant location.

It would be great if you have the water bus pass so you can travel back to hotel. But it's actually extra cost when the pass is 24 hours for €20. Two people is €40pass this is mainly for to go back hotel. Venice is so walkable with this hotel price I would rather find a hotel near the station or centered.

Kind helpful personable staff who were very attentive and available. Quiet Location and good overview of the side canals. I love Giudecca as a location. The fact that there was a lift was a surprising bonus.The bathroom was roomy and the whole room was kept well serviced. I felt very at home.

The shower was a little eccentric in its efficiency, but that couldn't be predicted, so no blame.

value for money; helpful staff; clean environment; special experience on a quiet island a bit remote from the main island, but not a big problem with taking 10 min boat trip to the main island. the place for having breakfast is nice set!

the shower tub is a bit small that even find it difficult to turn around inside!

From main island to hotel only took 15 mins. Could choose bus 2 or 4.1 to San Marco Plaza and it will take you 10 to 15 mins. Staff is nice and breakfast is also good.

Wifi only exists on public area.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a great location, only a few minutes walk from the waterbus stop and In a great quiet location. It was very clean and pretty and I felt safe there, even walking down the alley to the hotel at night.

The receptionist was charming and helpful

The water in the shower was unpredictable, sometimes freezing and then scalding.

Shower not professionnal, with water cold and hot while button on medium noise when the hotel is crowdy description of the basic room not fair => basic room with wiew on a wall !!

I stayed in Domina for three nights. The hotel is clean and confortable. The service is nice. Although it is a little bit hard to find, the location is still good, as well as the view outside the hotel. We bought the 72 hours traffic ticket so traveling between main island and the hotel is not a problem. I will suggust you to buy these kinds of traffic ticket if you book this hotel. One thing needs to be improved is no wifi in rooms! Wifi is only available in the lobby...

Excellent location, spotless and well appointed rooms. very quiet yet easily accessible from the centre of venice and airport by vaporetti.

airconditioning in room not working-but it didn't matter!

Great hotel. Good location, the room was large (#12), the first room on the ground floor. The washroom was quite big compared to other places we have stayed at. The rooms are cleaned every day. Elena the receptionist was efficient and very obliging. She was pleasant and was always willing to assist us with any questions that we had. In fact, I suggested to her that the hotel web site should indicate that Palanca is where you should get off from the Vaporetta (the water bus). She said that she will make the necessary changes. We got off at Redorante and had to walk quite a distance. The hotel is down a small alley way next to #395. You need to read the numbers on the building otherwise you will be really lost. The hotel is at the end of the alleyway on the right hand side. The building across the bridge is the youth hostel. The surroundings are very quiet. We didn't have any issues at all. The breakfast was the same everyday. A bit of variety would have been most welcome. The supermarket is very cheap. Even the wine was cheap starting at Euro 1.50 and the wine was excellent. Not many restaurants to choose from. They charge a cover charge per person. If you want to eat cheap, other than buying food from the supermarket and making your own meals, there is a take out pizza restaurant, Trattoria do Mori. The pizza is quite good. All in all, our stay at the Domina Home was very pleasant. We were very happy that we chose it.

The location, away from the hussle and bussle of main Venice, was super and the staff was the greatest. Very friendly and helpful.

Nothing to complain about. It's not a 5 star hotel but we were treated like 5 star guests.

Our stay was very nice, Elena at the front office was exceptionally sweet and helpful with answering our many questions about where to go and how to get there! Rooms were very clean!

I loved the hotel seriously. Value for money is more than just great, if you simply understand the routes & timings of the public transport, the location would be more than perfect. Hotel staff can use a little more smiling but overall my wife & I really enjoyed our stay.

Only annoying thing was that you need to ask for wifi access everytime, but what the hell do you need wi-fi for, you're in venice! :)

The hotel was a great place to stay to visit Venice. You are not in the middle of all the noise and crowds. You go down a little alleyway to find the hotel which has been redecorated on the inside. It's on the island of Guidecca which is easily accessible to any place in Venice by water taxi. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were comfortable and clean. We would definately stay there again.
