Very clean and spacious. Good size bathroom. Close to the train station

Even though it is close to the train station, it is an up hill walk and when carrying heavy bags it can be a little bit of a struggle

Everything .Pietro meeting us and taking us to the most beautiful appartment. Beautifully furnished..stunning Art Work..wonderful views. The garden was a haven to sit in to take in the views in the evening. Slept well in a comfortable bed. Met Cynthia Pietro's wife in the morning when she arrived to make breakfast. A wonderful elegant woman. Would recommend this B&B highly.

    Absoluely nothing.

    1. Excellent, amazing, astonishing view!!! (from the appartment of the fifth floor). The best thing I saw in Genova. 2. The appatment is so nice decorated and furnished. Excellent taste of Cinzia! 3. The owners are really friendly and helpfull. 4. Nice breakfast in the common room with great view.

Nothing about the hotel. Just... Genova looked like an abandoned city to me. Too many foreigners.

Beautifully appointed apartment right next to the railway station. Gracious hostess made us very welcome, even helping us with our luggage. The B&B is in a grand palazzo overlooking the harbour. Beds were single, but comfortable. The breakfast was ample enough to provide ham &cheese rolls for lunch. Would definitely stay here again.

The road up the hill was steep, so a little difficult to negotiate with suitcases. But doable.

Cinzia was a charming hostess. She met us outside the apartment and came by each morning to prepare breakfast. The apartment is situated in an impressive building (previously a grand hotel) consequently the corridors, staircases have a spacious grandeur. Comfortable, quiet, well situated for centre of Genoa.

Although easy to find, one can get confused the first time. View from apartment is fine but not overly brilliant.

The lovely hostess. Unfortunately our lovely hostess had limited English language skills but she tried exceptionally hard, made us very welcome, helped us get to where we wanted. She says she is doing an English course next year. She was wonderful and such a nice person!

This is a beautiful building, and the B&B has wonderful white marble floors, high ceilings, cute balcony and plenty of space. You get to the rooms by walking through the magnificent old Miramare building high on a hill overlooking Genoa. There are very specific directions for how to get there which are well defined. I might just add a line that you are looking for the big building next to the Gulliver's store - I wasn't sure.

It's not that I didn't like it but you need to be well aware that you need to arrange a specific time to get let in as there is no check-in desk. If you have big luggage, and are coming from the station as I was, you need to pull your luggage up a fairly steep hill.

Beautiful building.Nicely decorated. Very close to the train station but you don't hear the train. Market very close to building. We walked to the waterfront area for dinner (about 10-15 minutes away). breakfast was great. Piera was very nice!

Paid in advance for room with seaside view. Received the city view because a frequent traveler was using it. We were only there one night so it wasn't a big deal. "You can see the water from the common area" was the response from the owner. He was right but I reserved the room with the sea view.

Beautifully decorated . It was like having your own apartment as there is a lovely sitting room to share with the other guest room.. The bathroom is nearly attached to your room so no problem.the view is amazing . The actual building is a converted old luxury hotel. The hosts are very helpful and friendly .

Located in an old palatial hotel that's been converted to apartments, B&B Domitilla is spacious, clean and really comfortable. There are two bedrooms, both with great views and what's really nice is guests have access to the kitchen, dinning and living rooms. It was particularly nice to sit in the living room and enjoy a glass of wine while enjoying the view out over the harbor and to old Genoa in the evening. This location is less than a half-mile walk from the train station and we walked to old town Genoa (about a mile a way). Loved the eclectic but tasteful decor. The bed and pillow were particularly comfortable, the bathroom spacious and the breakfast was very good. Cinzia was a fabulous hostess! Oh, and the wifi was great too!

There was nothing we didn't like.

Location and parking is a plus, also the beautiful old building with clean, modern rooms. It's important to ring Cincia to gain access as there are no signs. Genoa is a great city to visit and this B&B is well located to enjoy it.

    Nothing really.

The view of Genoa was outstanding. It had safe parking, was close to the metro and funicular cog rail car that goes up to the top of the mountain, and was a beautiful apartment.

The parking was expensive and the metro (not the fault of the Domitilla) closed at 9p.m.

We were mesmerized by the majestic building that houses B&B Domitilla. A truly beautiful building with grand hallways, towering ceilings and 'Old World' charm. It is all very elegant. Our apartment was very comfortable and nicely furnished with a well appointed on-suite bathroom and lovely balcony that looked out over the city and train station below. The central location and close proximity to the train station, the metro underground and 'Hop 0n, Hope Off' bus tour was most convenient and made getting around the city very easy. The owners, Cynthia and Peter were gracious hosts and extremely helpful, offering many suggestions and giving directions to various sites. The breakfast, which Cynthia put together every morning in the kitchen adjoining our apartment, was delicious; offering cheese, croissants, Jam and superb coffee! Many thanks for a marvelous trip to Genoa.

The initial climb up the steep street to the building seemed to present an obstacle with luggage but in the end, even that was not a problem and we quickly became accustomed to the walk and enjoyed the exercise.

*Both the owners of the apartment were friendly and helpful; Cinzia, in particular, served delicious breakfasts, advised me on places to visit, and coached me with my Italian; * The location was excellent for visiting the main sites in Genoa, and for Principe railway station for daytrips to Camogli, the Cinque Terre etc; * The view from the Palace garden was stunning; * The rooms were spotless, quiet and well-equipped, & I loved the option of a bath or shower in the bathroom; * I stayed a week here and would strongly recommend this B&B

Only the dodgy lift in the Palace building
