The magnificent View
We were so cold, they didn't put on the heating. Breakfast was miserable, very little food. When we asked for coffee, it was thought we were putting then to a lot of trouble.. I would not choose to stay there again.
The hotels location is absolutely faultless if you are looking for views of the country side. The views are amazing and can take your breath away. The hotel is located about 10km from Rome. The train station is 10 min gentle walk from the hotel and it costs 1.50 each way to get to Rome which is good value. There are number of restaurants near by but we found a gem of a Chinese place 3km away where the supermarket is. The food was excellent and the value was unbelievably cheap. The hotel decoration is of the 80s. So it's a bit old fashioned. However, you can tell that in the 80s, that decoration was at the hight of fashion. It may comeback in fashion in another 10 tears. But hotel was clean, bed were lovely and it was amazing value if you font mind living outside of Rome.
It's 10km from Rome. The last train from Rome leaves around 9pm.
Clean, big rooms, comfy beds. The staff were really nice, which is not always true in big hotels like this. Easy to reach the airport by car. Nice view of the room. The breakfast was medriocre, but good enough to get the callories for the start of the day. Good value for money.
There was a smell of furniture or something similar in the room, maybe because nobody stayed in that particular room for a long time.
very nice looking and clean room; helpful staff, beautiful landscape, very good price;
slow Wi-Fi connection; you have to carry your luggage from parking area to the hotel through lot of stairs;
View down to distant Rome. Room size.
Patchy reception desk. Daily clearing pine needles by very noisy machine close to outdoor recreational terrace. Limited breakfast. Distance from public transport, but expensive taxis. Noisy party guests.
The hotel and staff were fantastic and very helpful as we asked which train to get from Roma termini and about late check out. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need with very comfortable beds. The hotel is very clean everywhere you go and you can tell they care about their hotel. Lovely end to travelling home.
View of Rome. Far from tourist herds. Quiet. Close drive to subway.
There is no clear sign on the road to find the hotel without GPS.
The Space: Large rooms & Bathrooms! The Staff: very friendly & caring The decor of the hotel was very nice
The Breakfast: It was poor The parking: difficult to carry the luggages
The place offered good prices and a decent size rooms. The rooms were clean but nothing special in terms og interior.
The hotel was probably really fancy in 1984, but has failed to upgrade to 2014. The breakfast was not very good with poor selection and no warm food. The table clothes were out right filthy and basic items were missing (salt and peppar should be standard at a 4 star)
Its a real nice place to stay at, but don't visit the restaurant. When the food finally arrived it was cold.
Unbelievably good value for money.
We stayed at the Domus Caesari for only one night on our way back to Rome. The hotel front terrace has a magnificent view. The room was clean, the breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly. Free WI-FI was available and we could watch the BBC news on TV. . All in all very good value for money.
The hotel it is only a few miles from Marino town centre, but you do need a car as the road is not suitable for walking
We chose to stay here a second time as it was our very first accommodation in Italy and it was one of the very best. Our room was superb, and overlooked Rome from our 'French' doors. Both day and night our view was spectacular. Highly recommend.
Staff very helpful. Arrived late but the kept restaurant open so I could order dinner. Food was excellent. Highly recommended
Internet connection in room could have been a little better
Reception and restaurant staff were very friendly. The dinner was good value for money. Good views. Lovely outdoor space. Spacious car park. Large, nicely decorated room.
The one member of staff in the breakfast room wasn't very friendly and openly complained about somebody sitting at a table that was set for dinner. This, however, was her own fault, as she hadn't cleared or re-set the majority of the breakfast tables. Not enough plug sockets, especially near the desk, as I needed to do some work on my laptop.
We landed in Rome in the evening, after a long day of travel. As we were going south by car, we looked for a good place not far from Rome with everything you need in a new country. This place was perfect for it: a short drive from the airport, easily identified by the GPS with a clear sign in the entrance. There was ample parking room. The front desk were friendly & efficient, the hotel itself is beautiful & we got a nice dinner in-house. The room was comfortable, big, quiet & clean with a nice view outside. The bathroom was very good too, with lots of room & a lovely shower. And finally, the included breakfast was generous & tasty. In short: a very soft landing.
We thought it was a bit over-priced for the low season, but it was well worth it for us.
Closeness to airport. Room comfort/cleanliness. Quiet. Superb bed. Room 105, great big veranda with great view. Pleasant staff, very helpful. Restaurant excellent. Price for a superior room very reasonable, and the room was very superior. I was on a business trip back to airport after a horrendous day. The hotel somehow made it all better. Highly recommended. I would agree that this is the best hotel in the area. I travel a lot for work and have stayed at many hotels over the years, this would be my number one choice when I visit this area again.
verry nice stay in 4 stars hotel whit confort of 5 stars and price verry good. The best hotel in the areea! 100%.
The hotel is beautiful and impressive. The staff are very helpfull and nice. You can't miss dinner at this place. Very close to Rome (with a car) with amazing view on the city.
