Madison Hotel is right across from Rome Termini Station for metro and bus services across the city. There is a daily buffet breakfast, and staff is available 24 hours a day.

In a quiet residential area of Rome, the Park Hotel Blanc et Noir provides free parking and good bus services around the city. It has air-conditioned rooms and apartments, each with a TV.

Featuring free Wi-Fi, Chez Liviana is situated in the centre of Rome, a 10-minute walk from Roma Termini Train Station. Breakfast is served daily including hot drinks and croissants.
Score from 207 reviews Good
Good quiet area conveniently close to Termini central, but not too close to be near the noise and rough parts. Really clean and spaceaous room, breakfast in bed was great and varied, good value for money considering the other options in that range available
Nothing at all to be honest. I will criticise where it's due and won't rate everything this highly but to be honest this place was excellent.
Clean, modern, close to Rome Termini, great value
finding a good restaurant nearby
Breakfast is served in the room on tray due to lack of breakfast room.
The staff are very nice and extremely helpful. They also speak excellent English, which is not that common in Italy. The location is fantastic - the Colosseum and Spanish Steps are within walking distance, while the other side of the Tiber River - if you're not much of a walker - is easily reached by bus or metro. The Termini station is within a five minute walk, and offers connections not only to most of the other areas of the city. The nearby Trattoria offers excellent food at very good prices.
Great location, lovely people and a very comfortable room.
Cleanliness, location, helpful owner. Quietness.
Small lift to all floors. We were on fifth floor.
I was a bit frustrated finding the place because they did not have a sign. You have to let them know in advance when you will arrive so they can open the door for you. Other than that, we were very pleased with the stay. It is 10-15 minute walk to Termini where you can find metro A & B, buses, Taxis, & trains to get around. Many restaurants are nearby and a grocery store is inside the Termini. The hotel is very clean. We liked the hard wood floor. It is in a quieter and safe neighborhood. I definitely will book it again when we visit Rome next time!
Clean and comfortable rooms, close to Termini Station, free wi-fi connection, good italian breakfast.
Termini area is not the best in Rome, but there are buses and metro for connection with the city centre.
Convenient for main Terminal /Metro and Bus Links. Friendly Staff and ideal base to see the City. Much better than Travellodges but not the Hilton
Beware of pickpockets in Rome -Saw a few instances on main tourist buses/metro of pickpocketing and phone snatches so look after your belongings at all times. However walking around streets feels totally safe at all times
It's always a pleasure to come back to Domus Castrense. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff really nice! Highly recommended!
The room was clean and had a beautiful interior and bathroom. Tv and aircon provided.
The location was not that ideal. Had to walk a bit from metro stations.
Everything: lovely room, fine but simple breakfast, nice staff, good bathroom.
Nothing really, but I do have one suggestion to improve the service. Because breakfast is served in the room, a bathrobe would have been nice to open the door in.
The room was cozy and the mattress was excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast in the room as well. The location of the hotel is quite close to the Termini and it was very easy to catch the subway and train. The area is quiet and was comfortable to walk around; it felt safe. If ever in Rome, we'd stay here again.
We had a refrigerator in the room but it didn't work. Would've been nice to have for snacks and a cold beverage . It was a minor inconvenience and did not impact the overall stay.
The staff at Domus Castrense were always very helpful and friendly, particularly in explaining how to get around Rome. There is an elevator and staff were very helpful in carrying heavy bags etc. Located about a 5-10 minute walk from Roma Termini, which was perfect as we trained in and out of Rome. The airport shuttle also departs from Roma Termini. Breakfast (cappucino/juice/yogurt/ coffee/tea/pastries) is served in your room, at the time specified by you (between 7.30 and 9.00am). We really enjoyed our stay at Domus Castrense and would definitely return again!
The location is very convenient for those willing to close to Termini station and La Sapienza university of Rome. The neighbourhood is very quite, yet close to both places. My room was very clean and well equipped. The WiFi functioned properly. Staff was very polite and helpful.
There are about five or six rooms located on the same floor with reception (which is situated in a tiny corridor that leads to the rooms. So every single movement within the corridor (usually busy because of reception) can be heard in the rooms and vice-versa. I wanted to have a bit of a day nap after a tiring trip, but could hardly do so because of hearing everything from the corridor. While this was not the case for me, I thought that those willing to have a bit more of a privacy in terms of not being heard from the outside/corridor can not afford it in this place.
Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, near centrum.
very friendly helpful manager very close to train station modern and clean very good restaurant close by
The hotel is very good and clean, the personnel is friendly and helps, if necessary. Whenever I will return to Rome, I will book there again.
Hotel is 10minutes of walk from Termini station which is main crossroad of metro, buses and trains, so this is an excellent starting point to explore Rome. Our room was very clean, staff polite and fast. Breakfast is served in room, you can choose time and drinks from selection list. If you are in Rome as a tourist, I would recommend this accomodation for home-base.
Third bed was not so comfortable. Breakfast is sweet (fruit jam, nutella, etc), but this is standard in Italy.
room, wi-fi. In generel good value for Money. breakfast ok, but nothing special.
The location close to Termini rail station/metro/ buses/hop on hop off makes this an ideal base to explore Rome. Plenty of local restaurants . The staff were very helpful upon our arrival . It was an easy transfer from Ciampo airport by bus took 45 mins and cost 8 Euros . A real bargain ! The staff were very helpful with advise about tourist attractions in Rome when we arrived.
Be aware that Domus Cadense does not look like a hotel from the outside . Consequently we walked up and down the road more than a few times asking and getting more tired after a very early flight before we found it . It is based on two floors of an apartment building.
Very friendly and convenient, excellent value.
Breakfast just functional.
Professional, friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable, clean and spacious rooms.
room , breakfast served in room friendly staff
