In a central area of Venice, Hotel Serenissima offers a great location, professional service, free Wi-Fi and an Internet point. St. Mark’s Square is just a 5-minute walk away.
Score from 1056 reviews Very good

A restored monastery, Hotel Abbazia is in the quiet Cannaregio district of Venice, 300 ft from Santa Lucia Train Station. The hotel features a large courtyard garden with bar.
Score from 1070 reviews Very good
Small but comfortable room and great location in the san marco district with no bridges to negotiate from san samuele vaporetto stop. The window in our room opened to rooftop views of Venice and the courtyard below.Good value for money, friendly staff and will recommend.
location, friendliness of staff
choice of breakfast was limited
Location and breakfast
The room was small and not maintained well. A shelf was hanging ins from the wall. The A/C was not working. If you opened the window to cool off the room the Mosquitos came in.
Location is OKAY.JUST OKAY
small cramped room with very bad broken spring mattresses. Very Very basic for the price . staff unfriendly .not at all helpful. Breakfast is again very limited.
Central with shops, restaurants and bars close by.
the staff were rely friendly and helpful and the hotel was in a really good position
no tea making facilities in room
good location, breakfast included, reasonable price
false marketing of rooms, hotel is/appears to be actually a student dorm, walls and floors are so thin that you wake up early in the morning due to people walking or showering; limited breakfast choices
I arrived on the day that Venice was having a public transport strike so had to make my way to hotel on foot fr. Venezia St Lucia. It wasn't that far. Obviously I didn't have a suitcase to take with me. Room was actually quite big and facilities were good. Attractions were quite close so hotel was central for that.
Wifi was sketchy and kept dropping out especially when you have more than one device
Location was excellent on a quiet street only one block away from restaurants and shopping options. Close enough to transport connections.
Bed was not comfortable and fittings in the room could do with modernising
The location was close to all attractions shops and restaurants.
The bed was uncomfortable. Reception staff were not very helpful .
This is a fit for purpose hotel. I will describe it as a dorm room. The bathroom was small and not very clean. The location is good though so if you're just looking for a place to sleep after a day of sight seeing then its fine.
Poor customer service. We had to seek permission to ask a question re public transport. Abrupt and unfriendly.
Clean, friendly and informative staff, super location near sights, lovely and fresh breakfast
good location, near the ferry stop Accademia
room is too small, coffee is terrible from the breakfast included
The location is great. Very professional staff and very good facilities. Breakfast was good relatively.
The internet connection was fair and hard to get.
Bathroom floor was very skippy as water leaked from shower
Location, spaciousness, courtyard
Grout in shower tiles should be clean
Very good location , close to a pleasant square and only 5minutes walk to a main water taxi station ( Accademia).Only 15 minutes to San Marco Sq. once you can navigate the back alleys that pretend to be streets. Outside the hotel looks uninspiring but inside We found the staff to be helpful and friendly, and the breakfast room and courtyard were very pleasant. Our room was basic, but comfortable and clean, with friendly staff, good breakfast, and a pleasant courtyard to eat in. In a city that sometimes seems a little manic, this is a great retreat
Its great value for Venice, but Venice IS a bit on the expensive side! I'd definitely recommend it and go there again
The staff at the hotel made us feel so comfortable. It was at a perfect location to get out and explore Venice. I would definitely go back.
Location was great, as was breakfast and outdoor garden. I think for the price it was a good value.
Rooms were just basic but clean, nothing fancy and no frills.
The location of this hotel is convenient to most of Venice. We could walk to most places and therefore didnt need to spend money on riding the vaporetto (boats). The Domus Ciliota is a nice hotel. I would stay there again.
Not anything to dislike in my book.
Terrific large room, close to major attractions and not far from the Apollo boat pier. Nice quite location. Included breakfast was great.
What a fantastic location. Easy enough to find, and right near all the tourist hot spots. Arriving early and being told I could leave my bags in the hotel and use the toilet until check-in time was just the best. Breakfast was ok, not great but good enough. I would go back.
Was an old monastry so very stark, and the coffee machine was on ground floor only.
Reception guy was quite interactive, but these days you want to start the day with some interactivity before embarking on a day out, minimum of greet and chat encourages others to do likewise to others.
Nothing really, just wanted to start day well!
