The location is superb. Ignore reviews saying it's difficult to find--once in Piazza San Salvatore in Campo, stand with your back to the peach-coloured building and the street to Domus Ester is the one on the upper left side. There is a sign, too. The staff is excellent and my room was very comfortable with no noise at all.

Breakfast is served to your room and, while it's a sweet idea, it's not a very exciting breakfast and it comes fairly late for early risers. Head for the cafe on Piazza Benedetto Cairoli nearby instead.

Bed was incredibly comfortable and having breakfast in bed was lovely. Staff were very helpful. Very well located although the front door isn't so obviously marked so easy to walk past on arrival.

2 or 3 flights of stairs and no lift - quite a challenge with cases!

Small room, but comfortable, great location within walking distance to pretty much all attractions in Rome, staff were very friendly and helpful when I asked questions (good English too), breakfast was delivered to the room in the morning, good value for money! If I were in Rome again and didn't want to pay more money for a nicer room, I would return here.

It was a bit hard to find at first, but I had travelled a long way and hired the driver from the airport who located the place initially. It's a third floor walk up and I didn't see the elevator, so had to carry my bags up, which wasn't a big deal but could be annoying. I liked the breakfast delivery, but it also would have been nice to go sit somewhere in the morning. Overall though, I was satisfied with my stay.

    - Good location - Price

    - Most rooms are very close to the reception (open 24hrs), which can by very noisy at times.

The staff was extremely helpful. Once you find it you can walk to almost all all of Rome.

It is quite hard to find.

Staff was very friendly and efficient, it was very close to just about everything, including the lovely Trastevere neighborhood, and of course having AC after a long day out and about is so refreshing and nice!

Breakfast was often late out of the 3 days we stayed, black mold on the ceiling above the shower.

    very central

the standard rooms are very very small. so you have to be creative in organizing your luggage and youself. Otherwise, for this price it´s ok. It´s noisy due to the life in street and thin walls. Otherwise, it´s central Rome ...

I loved this hotel. The staff’s grils were so nice and kind, always able to help us. The location is perfect!

There aren’t elevators so it’s hard if you are carrying heavy luggage. But the staff is always there to help. I also didn’t enjoy much the acoustics… we could hear every noise our “neighbors” did in their rooms.

Everything is ok. Location is very good, near to bus station & 1 km to Colostrum. But very difficult to find out the hotel. The signage is printed in A4 paper & no one know about this hotel

    The location

Pretty much everything else bu the location was substandard: the breakfast, the cleanliness, the creepy entrance, the crowded room, the dangerous open wire IN THE SHOWER, the poor directions, and worst of all, the fact that $80 disappeared from my money wallet.

Perfect location, easy walk to just about everything, big clean room, very quiet, staff was friendly and helpful.

Entrance to building is hard to find (not well marked) and stairs up to reception area does not inspire confidence.

Friendly staff brought breakfast in the mornings, the room was clean, the location was within walking distance to most of the tourist stops (15 minutes to coloseum and 15 to the Vatican)

The signage was small for initially locating this place ( stumbled upon it by accident after a few wrong turns)

All Staff were good..especially Marjorie had been excellent with her service. She had been too good in her job helping us with all our requirements.

Room size. We asked for a bigger room...didn't get it. We would have had more better experience if the room had been changed for us.

We arrived a night early and as they were fully booked the staff knocked themselves out to help us find alternate accommodation. Very friendly staff.

The stairs! If you're elderly and carrying quite a bit of luggage this is not for you. Norm Australia

Helpful friendly staff and an amazing location, right in the centre of Rome. Quiet side street with a proper italian feel. Highly recommended!

Initially difficult to find. It's in a little side street.
