location kindness of the staff towels changed everyday
twice cold shower! don't be afraid of the outside appearance of the building Inside is ok :)
the location was excellent and breakfast was served in the bedroom.
we had a problem with the heater one night and weren't able to reach the staff
Location, it was in walking distance to all the major attractions in Rome. A complimentary bottle of wine was waiting for us on our first night.
The heating was out during our stay in the middle of winter which caused me to become quite ill. Staff offered no compensation for having no heating. There were frequent unexplained power outages which obviously also effected WiFi. The shower often took about 15 minutes to run hot. Breakfast (the croissant) was in no way filling. The walls are extremely thin so you can every word your neighbours speak. A more minor issue was no English speaking channels on the TV.
Location was great
Building work and layout of bed rooms and entrance. Felt like you visiting a private and communal flat complex, strange.
Campo di fiori
Some noise behind the wall
Location, staff, room, breakfast
Location, clean room, very friendly staff
The location was perfect! We didn't need to take the bus or the metro even once, we could go everywhere by walking. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was always very clean.
Our room was literally next to the reception and the sound protection of the hotel was bad, so we could hear all the conversations of the receptionist with the clients. We paid extra for breakfast, which was really poor, so I don't recommend for others to do so.
Check in was easy and the staff was almost always on site for questions/help. Location is amazing, just blocks away from the Campi Dei Flori. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was also one of the few places that really cleaned our room and provided fresh towels every day. It's nothing fancy but if you want good location and helpful staff I would recommend this location.
Room is small and dated but for price and location we were expecting this.
Location!!! Staff was amazing! A short walk to Trastevere, Navona, or even the Vatican. About 15 minutes max in each direction something great.
Beds were comfortable, except they were 2 twins joined. They would split apart a risk one of our lives as we slipped through the opening.
At the beginning when we get in the stairs looked like a dirty place but once being upstairs we found a really nice and quiet place, staff really nice and helpful, we were just happy to stayed there
Hotel is located in the very center and therefore you dont need any public transport in order to see all main atractions. Room was very small but clean, but who needs large room when you are in Rome?!? Go out and enjoy! Staff is also nice and helpful
Walls are very thin so if you have light dream you might be wakening up each time somebody is passing by your room or speaking around.
The staff were fantastic, just so attentive and lovely. The hotel was just lovely for the price paid.
The acoustics was poor, could hear conversations from adjacent bedrooms.
The staff was very cooperative, always smiling. The rooms and toilet were always clean. The toilet was actually very good and spacious. They are great. Very good value for money.
Hotel was very clean. Rooms were spacious and staff was very helpful and friendly
Didn't like the location of the hotel as it was very far from any Metro stations and made travelling to the airport difficult. Also very hard to find. The only indication it was a hotel was a small sign on the front door down a dimly lite alley.
Breakfast in bed, friendly staff and perfect location.
We ordered our breakfast for 9:00am (it is served in the room) and the breakfast came 50 minutes later. Since we left to visit by this time we asked for a refund. We got 4 euros for two breakfasts whereas the night price was 90 euros...
The owners were very nice and helpful. the room very clean and comfortable, and breakfast was served in our room.
The stairs--there was no elevator and it's four flights up, an issue if you have heavy suitcases. And the wifi was very weak.
* location: quite street, hardly any traffic noise at night * very friendly and helpfull staff * great mattresses (must have been changed recently)
* very small bathroom, could do with a new coat of paint. * no breakfast room, served in the room, but no table was available
1. The location 2. The location 3. The location...
Small Room Old Bathroom
Centrerally located the main attractions can be reached by foot.
When travelling by foot from the train station the location is extremely hard to find.
The location allowed us to walk anywhere we wanted too. Breakfast in the room was a nice touch (but limits the possibilities/variety). The staff were extremely nice.
The room was small and there was a walk-up, no elevator. It doesn't matter much if you only plan on sleeping in the room.
I had originally booked a room in a different place, but my reservation there was lost - the best thing that could possibly have happened to me, because that's how I ended up staying in Domus Ester. The girls who work there are extremely nice and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, I loved my view. The breakfast was great and made even better because of the girls's flexibility when it came to me constantly changing the time I was going to get up. They're so patient! The location of this hotel is wonderful, as you can walk everywhere and the area seems safe as well. Really, EVERYTHING is right around the corner. It's central enough for the surroundings to be expensive, but there is a DeSpar close by if you want normal-priced food and drinks instead of 3 Euro cans of Coke.
The only thing I didn't like was that I had trouble finding the place when I first went there, but that's the fault of whoever designed the Roman street grid. If you've found it once, you'll never not find it again.
perfect location, nice workers, clean, cheap for rome
Breakfast (everyday the same. Sweet croissant, rusk marmolade and coffee) Cometimes had to wait for breakfast. Air condition didnt work but they offered another room but smaller One of beds had thin materace
JUST DON'T GO THERE. It's not worth it to claim 4 floors with your heavy baggage and end up in 8x8 room. Forget it and book something else
