We ordered our breakfast for 9:00am (it is served in the room) and the breakfast came 50 minutes later. Since we left to visit by this time we asked for a refund. We got 4 euros for two breakfasts whereas the night price was 90 euros...
The owners were very nice and helpful. the room very clean and comfortable, and breakfast was served in our room.
The stairs--there was no elevator and it's four flights up, an issue if you have heavy suitcases. And the wifi was very weak.
* location: quite street, hardly any traffic noise at night * very friendly and helpfull staff * great mattresses (must have been changed recently)
* very small bathroom, could do with a new coat of paint. * no breakfast room, served in the room, but no table was available

Small Room Old Bathroom
Centrerally located the main attractions can be reached by foot.
When travelling by foot from the train station the location is extremely hard to find.
The location allowed us to walk anywhere we wanted too. Breakfast in the room was a nice touch (but limits the possibilities/variety). The staff were extremely nice.
The room was small and there was a walk-up, no elevator. It doesn't matter much if you only plan on sleeping in the room.
I had originally booked a room in a different place, but my reservation there was lost - the best thing that could possibly have happened to me, because that's how I ended up staying in Domus Ester. The girls who work there are extremely nice and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, I loved my view. The breakfast was great and made even better because of the girls's flexibility when it came to me constantly changing the time I was going to get up. They're so patient! The location of this hotel is wonderful, as you can walk everywhere and the area seems safe as well. Really, EVERYTHING is right around the corner. It's central enough for the surroundings to be expensive, but there is a DeSpar close by if you want normal-priced food and drinks instead of 3 Euro cans of Coke.
The only thing I didn't like was that I had trouble finding the place when I first went there, but that's the fault of whoever designed the Roman street grid. If you've found it once, you'll never not find it again.
perfect location, nice workers, clean, cheap for rome
Breakfast (everyday the same. Sweet croissant, rusk marmolade and coffee) Cometimes had to wait for breakfast. Air condition didnt work but they offered another room but smaller One of beds had thin materace
JUST DON'T GO THERE. It's not worth it to claim 4 floors with your heavy baggage and end up in 8x8 room. Forget it and book something else
the position was excellent...right in the heart of rome! it was nice to have breakfast directely in the room.
the bed was unconfortable and there was something to fix...like a broken lamp and the soapdish in the bathroom.
great location very small room but very clean and new (we stayed at the new area a day after they finish) helpful staff
the bed was to much soft and was very difficult to sleep there
Location is very close to most of the tourist attractions. Staff was really nice and helpful :)
Finding the place was difficult, during my stay there I have learnt it is same for almost all the places.
The location is excellent
This B&B overcharges for the quality of its facilities which are worn, run down and not kept clean. Noise transfers loudly between rooms. Breakfast was late each day because the facility is understaffed. Look elsewhere for accommodation,, this isn't a good value for your money.
The staff were exceptional.
Our air conditioning didn't work, however they tried to improve thois for us. They brought us a fan and apologized many times. It was difficult to find initially so better signage would be useful.
The location was excellent, close to every major places of the city & the stuff was very very friendly, nice & smiling!
The attention, good neighborhood, close to landmarks.
Very difficult to find if you're from another country.
the room is comfortable and the staff were very nice
Incredible location, very tidy rooms and common areas, helpful staff.
The location is superb. Ignore reviews saying it's difficult to find--once in Piazza San Salvatore in Campo, stand with your back to the peach-coloured building and the street to Domus Ester is the one on the upper left side. There is a sign, too. The staff is excellent and my room was very comfortable with no noise at all.
Breakfast is served to your room and, while it's a sweet idea, it's not a very exciting breakfast and it comes fairly late for early risers. Head for the cafe on Piazza Benedetto Cairoli nearby instead.
Bed was incredibly comfortable and having breakfast in bed was lovely. Staff were very helpful. Very well located although the front door isn't so obviously marked so easy to walk past on arrival.
2 or 3 flights of stairs and no lift - quite a challenge with cases!
Small room, but comfortable, great location within walking distance to pretty much all attractions in Rome, staff were very friendly and helpful when I asked questions (good English too), breakfast was delivered to the room in the morning, good value for money! If I were in Rome again and didn't want to pay more money for a nicer room, I would return here.
It was a bit hard to find at first, but I had travelled a long way and hired the driver from the airport who located the place initially. It's a third floor walk up and I didn't see the elevator, so had to carry my bags up, which wasn't a big deal but could be annoying. I liked the breakfast delivery, but it also would have been nice to go sit somewhere in the morning. Overall though, I was satisfied with my stay.
Perfect location Simple and just what we needed Good breakfast brought to our room Helpful smiley staff - Kimberly on the front desk was wonderful
- Good location - Price
- Most rooms are very close to the reception (open 24hrs), which can by very noisy at times.
The staff was extremely helpful. Once you find it you can walk to almost all all of Rome.
It is quite hard to find.
Staff was very friendly and efficient, it was very close to just about everything, including the lovely Trastevere neighborhood, and of course having AC after a long day out and about is so refreshing and nice!
Breakfast was often late out of the 3 days we stayed, black mold on the ceiling above the shower.
