The staff was very willing and pleasant. The room was clear, quiet and very romantic. Domus Livia not so far from the city center and main place of interest. |

The location was good, close to the station and major attractions. Room was large. Staff were friendly. It was tricky to find the place as signage is bad. We asked for a double bed and got to singles. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Was extremely noisy!!!! We were kept awake by someone coughing all night in the other room as well as the traffic form the major road this hotel is on. Would never stay there again. |

The staff was very nice and willing to support us in all matters. The breakfast must be improved as structure and way to be served. Take into consideration also less noise in the morning, due to breakfast preparations. |

Friendly staff & the location - close the station. The price that I have been charaged too much for this place. I was expecting to stay at the hotel. It is not a hotel is simply b&b without proper breakfeast room. The bathroom needs a deep cleaning - the showerarea was dirty and yellowish. I did not read any comments about the hotel. I will not advise any one as it is. They should call the place a b&B. |

The service on our first 3 days was very good. The checking out was however not so nice, since there was a mix up because of the visabill and I was treated pretty rudely. The rooms are inexpensive and tidy. The free internet (although not working correctly all the time) was a bonus. The taxis (not real taxis), that this hotel offers for travelling to the airport and back are to be avoided. If you have to take one, pay them the exact amount, since you won't get change back. I gave the man 50 euros for a 45 euro trip, and asked for change. He didn't give any, said rudely this is his tip. |

The staff was very friendly and willing to help with room and travel problems and issues. They helped coordinate a reservation for me at a museum and provided a snack for us when we had an early morning departure. They also tried to get the room air conditioner to work better which was necessary since the outside temperature was very hot all the time we were there. I was ready to walk out the first day since the room temperature was easily in the 80s farenheit the first day. I didn't think the hotel was a very good value for the money. I believe that there are better hotels at a similar price available in the area. The room was very old and not very clean. The room furniture was very bad and of a quality that all should have been thrown away. The shower also didn't drain well. The continental breakfast was very poor and we usually went out and had breakfast outside of the hotel to make up for the bad food that we received. Two rolls, juice and a coffee was not enough for us to get started. Domus Livia is at the level of a pensione but not a hotel. I was very unhappy about the amount of money that I paid for this room. I would warn anyone looking into this hotel to not stay here. |

Very close and walking distance to many sightseeing points of interest. The aircon was not very good in our room which made it very unconfortable trying to sleep. Breakfast was very basic did not include ham, cheese etc. |

We enjoyed Domus Livia, mostly because of the excellent and friendly service provided by the hotel staff. It began when I had failed to get Euros in advance with which to pay our cab driver, who refused to take me to a bank teller machine and who was becoming impatient and angry. I explained my problem and Marisa promptly loaned me the 45 Euros I needed to satisfy the driver. Of course, I found a bank quickly and paid her back right away. This, though, we typical of the helpful attitude we enjoyed from the entire staff. The elevator leaves a lot to be desired. Also, since I'm from the southern U.S. I like air conditioning to be quite cool. Ours was adequate but I always wanted it a little cooler. Overall, though, we completely enjoyed our stay. |

Good proximity to termini train station and good transport links to Trastavere. Walking distance to major sites. Good base. Breakfast was very basic. We were on the bed and breakfast floor (so Welcome House as opposed to the higher-end Domus Livia). Small bread roll and a croissant per person hung in a basket outside the door for breakfast in bed which was fine but basic e.g. no fruit, yoghurt, cheese/meat, cereal options. There is not a breakfast dining area which is not really a problem. |

Stayed here after a cruise (our 25th anniversary). Really enjoyed being able to have a leisurely breakfast in our room!! The ceilings must be 14 feet high - beautiful old building. The location was unbeatable. Would stay here again. The shower drain was slow, needed some maintenance. |

The hotel was furnished with antiques, the rooms were clean and large. The staff was very helpful, and spoke english quite well. The bed was not a doulbe as stated in my reservation but 2 single mattresses pushed together on a frame with no foundation. It was also harder than a board.WE also found the room very noisy and could not close the shutters. |

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to the train station and neighboring sites in Rome. The room rate is reasonable and a good value. This hotel has free and dependable wireless Internet service. The room is clean and well kept, with attractive and updated furnishings. The mattress on the bed was hard and a bit uncomfortable, with flat pillows. There was no bathtub to soak in after a long day of sightseeing, and only a very small shower. There is no central dining area or restaurant in the hotel for breakfast. Coffee and light pastries are delivered to your room. |

Perfect location within the walking distance of all major sightseeing points, 10 minutes walking from Termini train station, 3 minutes from the undeground Line A. The room was spacious and clean, staff at the reception spoke good English, which is rare in Italy. Fresh bread-rolls delivered to our room every morning :) We took the "standard room" - the furniture there, carpets & wallpapers looked a little bit worn off. The condition of the room would justify a slight renovation, however this is the "climate" of an old Roman home. |

Central location, easy walking distance of main attractions, 5 minutes to railway station. Nicely appointed room. We had a major problem on checkin. We had booked a taxi from the airport through the hotel at a cost of 60 Euros. Our flight was 4 hours late due to snow in Madrid. No taxi was waiting for us, so we got another one. At checkin the hotel insisted we pay the 60 Euros, we refused and a major argument ensued. It was only resolved by us threatening to use another hotel. |
