Room was small but very clean. Breakfast is only coffee/cappuccino, bread and butter but for 2 euro you can buy a tasty pizza just around the corner so it is not a real problem. Shower cabin is really small 45x45 cm. |

Great location - near to termini and the bus station so all of Rome is accessible. Open 24 hours. Staff were friendly enough - one guy in particular spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Was difficult to find at first. The hotel is actually located on the 5th floor of an apartment block but it is secure so once you knew where it was everything was fine. |

The staff was unwelcoming and rude, room was dirty and old, and the breakfast was poor. I would never ever stay at this hotel again, and would not recommend it to anyone. |

Close to Termini, quaint accomodations Breakfast selection was small, hot water was difficult to get during the busy hours of the morning. Not a fancy hotel, but glad I stayed there nonetheless. |

Convenient location, friendly Receptionist (Malaysian gentleman) The continental breakfast was extremely basic (only bread and tea or coffee) and the bread was not fresh, but processed. Dining room staff were not friendly. First impressions are not good - on arrival at the external door the building looks very uninviting, the hotel is based on the 5th floor and the rest of the building consists of residential homes. |

The only good thing with this hotel is that it was close to the metro and the train station. Other than this, don't expect too much. Plus, you have to pay for AC! If you are looking for something a little nicer than a hostel type atmosphere, don't stay here. Also, the "free" breakfast was rock-like bread, coffee, and a plastic wrapped pastry. Not worth it! |

The hotel was well-located and not expensive The breakfast is really poor, the lady in the hotel didn't allow us to stay till noon in our room; although it was promised at Booking.com and on the door of the hotelroom. |

Salvatore, the desk man was terrific. He speaks excellent English, is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Beautiful room. Great location: close to the RR station, restaurants, attractions. The breakfast offered was not very good. One fresh roll, cookies, instant coffee. Pretty disappointing. In spite of this, I'd recommend this hotel due to other features mentioned above. |

Charming old couple that seemed to own the place. Friendly night staff too. The credit card machine wouldn't take our American Visa cards for some reason so we had to pay cash. We didn't speak Italian so that was tricky to figure it all out with the staff. Good room, a nice patio to have breakfast or drinks on. Not a good view of anything except your neighbor and the rooftop antennas. |

Friendly staff, and very clean. Safe. It's on the fitfth floor, so when you first get there it's a little confusing. The entrance seems a little shabby, but friendliness of owners make up for this. |

I liked the Hotel Domus Mea for the most part. it served my purpose: inexpensive, clean, safe accommodation near the Termini train station (I am an experienced solo female traveler.) I stayed 2 nights. I found the place absolutely charming. I am so glad it was NOT like most US hotels. I loved the 5th floor location, the cage elevator, the winding stairs up to my room. What I did not like was the attitude of the front desk staff when I asked to be changed from a very noisy room facing the street to a quieter room. They tried to tell me "it was not possible" but of course, after I insisted, it turned out that it was and I got a much nicer, bigger, quieter room facing the courtyard. DO NOT accept any street-facing room in Rome if noise is a problem for you. |
