Ambience Garden View Location
The sisters were very helpful at the accommodation. Views were magnificent. It was nice to be away from the busy center of Sorrento. Our double room was lovely and had lots of character.
Theres a bit of noise from vespas passing on the street which was an issue for people with rooms overlooking the street.
Beautiful view of the sea. Quiet neighborhood. Nice facility, very clean.
Our room was on the road side overlooking a busy road, the traffic doesn't quiet down until after 9 pm.
- great view on Vesuv and the Gulf of Naples - nuns are overall friendly, hospitable and exerted
- very poor cleanliness: towels should be changed automatically every 3 days. After the fourth day (!) we had to complain about the towels not being changed yet. In the bathroom itself, especially in the shower, there had been mold formation on the walls and on the gaps. Further on our last day they did not tidy up our room at all... That is very poor cleanliness and really a shame! - rooms and furniture are very simple and not comfortable. - beds are worn/ sag in the middle
We LOVED this place--it is amazing! Our room and bathroom were large and beautifully furnished; the balcony outside our room had a spectacular view with a gentle breeze caressing us. The sisters were friendly, though only Sister Clara spoke English and she was a treasure!
The only downside to this place is that you NEVER want to leave it for any reason--even to eat dinner.
Very clean and loved the atmosphere, and the best view in the entire town.
The location has breathtaking views and surrounding areas are wonderful.
There are restrictions you don't normally find at a hotel such as a curfew at night and recommended times to shower. They also did not take credit card payments (i.e. cash only) even though a credit card was used to secure the booking. I discovered this in the fine print later, but it was a shock to realise this at check-in. I also didn't realise the inn was run by nuns until I arrived. Walking to and from the inn is hazardous (especially with baggage) as the road is narrow, busy and 2-way.
We loved it! It has a beautiful setting overlooking the sea. We had a great view from the balcony off of our room. The room itself was very pleasant with antique furnishings. The nuns were friendly and helpful.
Fantastic view, great terrace, well equipped building, very friendly service, all what you need
The bathroom needs some renovation
location superb with beautiful views and scenery. looking down on harbour, beach and bay on one side and hills and mountain to the other.
Fantastic view from the hotel terrace and our room (ask the room with sea view).
On the second day our room was not cleaned and toilet paper finished two times and we had to ask more. It was quite irritating that the staff didn´t understand english (except one of them).
Friendly staff, quiet, nice view
terrance with very good sea view
far from the train station. it takes at least 15 min to reach there by walk.
The view is magnificent. It was very clean.
The breakfast is too poor.
I liked the location of the building. The rooms are good and cleaned everyday. The sea view is spectacular. The garden is very attractive to spent sometime in the evening.
Breakfast could be improved. The road in front of the hotel is very narrow and it is a traffic road. Larger vehicles are not allowed in that road. There is not much restaurants near this hotel if I need to go out for eating
The sisters are very nice and the view from the room is good. The room is clean and big enough for two person.
The breakfast is simple, like most of the hotels we have stayed in Italy. It is not the best location to stay if you want to travel around. You always need to go to sorrento first.
The sisters were lovely. The garden and views were stunning. very relaxing and calm way to spend a couple of days.
the breakfast was a bit disappointing.
The building and its gardens are beautiful. Location right by the sea is awesome.
Traffic noice on the street-side room was prett bad.
The nuns were wonderful and the view was million dollar.
It was difficult to find and people in town didn't seem to know the place.
Small room, very small bed, no confort and no heating system. Far from everything
Views were unbelievable
Little out of the way
its about 2 miles outside sorrento. the views are amazing.
the bed was very hard. not much on offer at breakfast. they charge e5 per night to park and e5 for internet. there is not much to do at night unless you go into sorrento.
Breakfast is a bit frugal with prepacked items.
The actually building (villa) was beautiful and the location breathtaking which I'll be forever grateful for, but
I did not know it was run by nuns prior to booking which was definitely awkward to find out upon arriving since I absolutely do not believe in the Catholic religion & was uncomfortable with all the crucifixes in the room and villa. Also, did not provide wifi without cost tv tiny to watch, but overall clean & the location awesome.
We loved this place! The location is great, nuns are friendly and helpful, the breakfast was fine (a typical Italian breakfast, not huge but good). The views are amazing, and if you take the time to walk around, you can walk down to the little fishing enclave at the base of the cliffs, which was enjoyable. We were there before Christmas, and attended the local church on Sunday, also ate at several good restaurants in town. There was a local fruitseller on the road between town and the convent, which was nice to have so close, and we just had a very nice relaxed time here. We came down to this area from Naples by train, after seeing Pompeii and Herculaneum, and from here we took the train to Sorrento and then bussed around the Amalfi coast, so as you can guess it is a very convenient base or stopping point between all of those areas.
