Hotel Rivage is in a panoramic position in the center of Sorrento, overlooking the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The port and the station are just a short walk away.
Score from 502 reviews Very good
Ostello Le Sirene is centrally located in Sorrento, only 400 metres from Sorrento Train Station and around a 5-minute walk from Piazza Tasso.
Score from 192 reviews Good
Villino Castellano offers panoramic apartments on the Sorrento Coast with sea views. The Meta Train Station is just 380 yards away, and public buses for Naples Airport stop nearby.
Score from 30 reviews Very good
The Bellavista Francischiello offers unique, panoramic views of the Bay of Naples and Capri. In the countryside between Massa Lubrense and Sorrento, it features a rooftop pool.

The nuns were nice and the view was lovely.
I did not like being so far from Sorrento. The walk from the train station was along a curved street with no sidewalk - dangerous daytime or night. Also loud street noise from a room facing the road (but they moved me when I complained). I had not realized I would have to pay for wi-fi. I could not find any suitable place for dinner nearby. I had the worse dinner of my two weeks in Italy at the only place I could find. I walked 20+ minutes to Sorrento one morning, but opted for a taxi back at night. Less than 3km cost me 20 euros! Also, the second day there was no hot water. NO HOT WATER!
Sister Mary is very helpful. The property is not a small one, I don't know how she managed it, whenever I needed help, she was always there. The room is very clean. I was there in winter, it was very warm. Excellent value for money. Not many places offer single room.
The bed is comfortable enough but it is very small.
Very quiet peaceful place; great view on sea and mountains; very-very freindly staff.
Fantastic value for money and the sisters treated us so well. Breakfast was simple but fine. Coffee was the best I've ever had! A great base for exploring this part of Italy.
It was a unique experience. Sister Maria was very kind and helpful, she is the only one who speaks english. They really do what they can to make your stay comfortable. The view from the bay side is incredible, the other side is the street below. The breakfast was Italian. We enjoyed our experience.
The roads are treacherous and Italian drivers are maniacs. Once you step out of the building there is only a dangerous narrow curving and winding road flanked by buildings on either side of the passage, with mad traffic. We only left by vehicle, and once out you must find a place to park. Not easy. An attempt was made to break into our car, they ruined the lock and scratched the door, but we think our unexpected return stopped the thieves from getting in. This was downtown in Sorrento.
Amazing location, on the cliff. The view on the terrace is amazing.
Extra payment for wi fi
The peacefulness, the history, the beautiful view, the sisters, breakfast, etc. were all great. Had a very good stay. If in the Sorrento area agin, would defenetly stay here. It is a little hard to find, as I don't believe the street names match up, but if you go north on Della Rosa to T, turn left, go about a block to a blind curve on narrow street, on the right, grey gate #120, hope this helps my fellow travelers. Parking is 5 euros a day, and Internet is 5, sorry, did not use internet, so cannot comment. Showers are small, but typical.
Street noise, but this is not the fault of the Domus, it is also typical. I rated everything as excellent, with the exception of comfort, but only because of my bed, it was a little hard, but this is a personal taste, not against the Domus, trust me, you will have a great stay here.
The views were lovely, quiet place to stay.
Language was a bit of an issue. Not able to cater for Coeliac diet.
We loved everything about our stay! We had the most gorgeous room with a wrap-around balcony that overlooked the water, and left the french doors open at night to enjoy the sound of the water and the breeze. The grounds are beautiful and the sisters very helpful. Since I learned enough basic Italian before the trip, I had no trouble communicating with the sisters, but there is an English speaking sister who is wonderful!
Location was fabulous, the view was breathtaking, the rooms comfortable and the sisters - delightful! We were sad to leave! Breakfast was included.
We loved stay here, enjoyed the view and the place so quiet
Breakfast very early
The residence is a former mansion and many aspects of its splendour have been retained for guests to enjoy , such as the large rooms and gardens amidst splendid cliff top views of the Bay of Naples. The host sisters are most welcoming and friendly. Relax and enjoy this wonderful abode.
Breakfast was basic but adequate for a start to the day.
Excellent location to Piano di Sorrento and the great restaurants on the beach away from the crowded town of Sorrento. An easy walk to the train and bus stops. The Sisters were very hospitable.
The location and the quiet.
There was nothing to dislike.
View from some rooms, rooftop patio and other spots was million dollar, while price was very affordable. Large room and bathroom. Nuns were helpful as possible, given language difference. Good restaurants in walking distance either direction. Excellent jump-off place for Sorrento, Amalfi, Capri, Pompeii, etc.
20 min walk to train station and "downtown" Sant Agnello. Cab recommended for luggage or tight schedule. Odd collection of threadbare towels, some better suited as cleaning rags. Skimpy, but adequate breakfast, should add more variety. Noise till 10:00 on street side.
We loved having our wine while sitting in their lovely garden and enjoying a wonderful view of the Bay..
When you step outside the door, you are almost in the road. One has to be extremely careful when walking.
Location and view
Having a curfew
Beautiful view and nice staff
The rooms are extremely out dated and their are strict rules to follow. Very misleading that this was a hotel, instead it is run by a church and the nuns are the staff.
Nice balconies to sit out on overlooking the sea. Excellent location Calm, peaceful atmosphere. Special and different.
Our room overlooked a busy, noisy street: ask for a room with a balcony overlooking the sea. No kettle or tea making facilities in room. Minimal breakfast.
Breakfast , The view is amazing
Wifi is expensive
Staff was not very accommodating, room was not clean when we arrived,(broken glass and dust on floor.) Beds were very old and short. Breakfast was minimal to say the least, not even real coffee. I would not recommend this accommodation to any age group of traveller.
The wonderful views on the sea, beautiful garden, friendly staff.
Convenience traffic noise, since the windows of the room facing the street so the absence of the possibility of a relaxing holiday, monotonous breakfast.
Position brilliant Great views
Bed squeeked Breakfast
Location was impressive Different from usual hotels Calm and friendly atmosphere A great palace on a astonishing location and nuns that make you feel home Clean
Wireless in rooms often interrupted with weak signal Breakfast rather poor Rooms need some refurbishing
