Location and staff
No hot water for 2 days, so we left! Very small room.
Location!! Staff, Good service at the two bars that serve breakfast.
Characterful old building. Great location on quiet pedestrian street just off an attractive square. Lots of bars and restaurants very close by and near the river. Very helpful staff - thoughtfully rang the day before our arrival to check that we had received the door entry code by email - essential if you arrive after 8.00pm. Of the 2 options for breakfast, Terra Satis is better and worth the extra (short) walk.
Room rather small - but clean and comfortable and fine for our stay of 4 nights. Bathroom very small - but functional.
great location, nice (but compact) rooms
False online presentation; change hotel only after full booking paid; minuscule (5 m2) single room; no telephone in the rooms; use of hotel phone not allowed; arrogant staff; 1 E breakfast outside hotel in a cheapest bar; cracking noise in the walls (safety?); no international TV; hugely overpriced - for 89 E a REAL HOTEL with ALL facilities available in vicinity
Dangling shower door Very uncontrollable shower uncomfortable twin beds
The location is the best thing about this hotel. Staff is friendly, yet barely manages English. Still, the location is very nice.
Rooms are tiny. My room was cardboard sized. For example, the bathroom door was located one feet from my face when I was lying in bed. The room was so small that there was not a single armoire from a lack of space so i had to see my clothes just piled in the corner. And the shower... Well, let's just say it's made for leprechauns and not for a normal sized people. The breakfast is a joke and consists of coffee and a single sweet at nearby cafe. The problem is that its not the best one. For 2 euros you you can get a better stuff on a nearby street. Most of a hotel staff doesn't speak English. Its not helpful.
The location and value for money is excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms small, but clean.
The size of the single room that one person in our party had for a night, is unacceptable and the hot water supply in the showers is not working properly and occasionally not at all. The fact that you have to walk to a cafe for breakfast is just about OK, but it should be possible to have at least bread rather then a pastry and perhaps a yoghurt, especially if you have children.
perfect location: close to the center of the city and historical part of Rome nice room with very special italian design nice people at the reception good restaurants in the nearby area really good price
a little bit noizy in the morning - when some doors of other rooms are opened and closed wi fi was available only at the lobby
The hotel was located in a wonderful area and was very clean and wifi worked flawlessly. The best part was the staff, they made me feel like family. Thank you so much!
:Had room with great terrace. Proprietor very friendly.
Really Fab location, staff really helpful,
Very bejou room, but clean and comfy. Shower is really tiny in room we were in but otherwise fine
We stayed four nights and then booked another two! The location could not have been better for us. We were in Rome to visit our son who is studying at Sedes Sapientiae - one and a half blocks away. Breakfast was good. Anna is wonderful. Will definitely stay there again.
Our first room was ridiculously small, but we spent so little of each day there, that after the first night it didn't bother us at all. So not really a negative.
The location, the room & air conditioning.
Breakfast was a pastry & a coffee. I had to go & buy a 2nd breakfast.
Location is excellent.
The other breakfast place was a bit hard to find ... =)
Nicely decorated rooms, very clean, nice area and surprisingly good breakfast to be eaten at the room.
The receptionist was very loud starting first thing in the morning making phone calls thus making sleeping later than 7:30 AM some kind of mission impossible. The staff removed one bed as one of our friends left, but they still demanded payment for the full room usage. In that regard they were very unfriendly and unhelpful. The showers are extremely tiny, not even the skinniest of us could shower confortably. I would never go back there.
The walls are wafer-thin, you can hear your neighbours snorting, switching on and off the light, talking on the phone, and doing all sorts of business. Materass much too hard. Couldn't sleep all night. The lady at the reception was unable to make herself understood when providing directions
Very close to the Ancient Rome centre (5 min), very close to the plenty of ristorante, trattoria, cafe, bars in reasonable prices.Real heart of evening Rome just after the corner. But very calm and easy street. Good connection to the Fiumicino airport - train + tram = 40 min.(8€ + 1,50€).
It is central & clean Very good reception
Small room tight on movement
Location is tops, staff VERY friendly and helpful. Small, as can be expected in this area, but comfortable and clean. This is a charming place to stay within walking distance of the Circus Maximus and other spots. Lost of interesting places nearby to enjoy a meal at night. We really enjoyed it, thank you!
Not a negative, but do make arrangements if you are going to arrive outside checkin hours as indicated on the website.
Very, very friendly and helpful staff, thanks a lot to Anna who made our stay perfect
Very nice Staff!! I could stay there again, clean and nice.
The staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly. The room I stayed in was small, but I was already aware of this when I made the booking (my booking was for the smallest room, a single); nevertheless, there was certainly enough room to move about and I was really only in the hotel in the evenings to sleep. The staff were very helpful with great suggestions on where to eat, and always ready to help out if necessary. The room lacked a table for me to use my computer, but all I had to do was mention this and they organised one for me.
