very cosy, excellent location
Friendly, helpful staff. Good location, very quiet, clean, comfortable room.
Not well signposted. It is in a commercial building, not obviously accommodation. No public area to wait for airport pickup, but we understand that was not possible in that type of building.
My daughter and I shared a rather large room. I requested quiet and was very pleased. The area is super safe. It is near the American Embassy with a guard at all times and a police station. Next door is a small store which has everything you can imagine from a deli to usual grocery items, fresh fruit and veggies, etc, anything you might need. After a day of dealing with crowds this is a tranquil spot to relax.
Be very careful with the shower. I was unfamiliar and got hit in the face with a powerful spray of water.
We were happy to stay there. The staff was very kind and helpful. The bus stops and metro station are nearby andl quiet, safe neighbourhood. Highly recommended.
The room was a little bit small for 3 people.
The two persons at the reception were very nice, and willing to help. This is a very safe part of the city. There are some restaurants at walking distance. The rooms are very quiet, which is not always the case in large cities The breakfast was served in the room at the exact time requested. You choose from a list what you wish to have for breakfast.
The area was very nice and easy to get to from the train station and you could walk to all of the main sights. Lovely restaurants and nice cake shops to go to on your door step. Spanish steps and Trevi fountain are the closest. Very friendly staff!
It is NOT A HOTEL. It is a Pension. It is the first time Booking disapoints me and I travel a lot with Bookings services. Thanks I have sayed the aproximate hour of our arreival!!! If you do not say it clearly the reception is empty and we arreive at night. Rooms are fine once you get to the rooms, but if you do not that you expect a different atmosphere. When we arreive the woman of the reception she even complained to us because in her opinión we should have arreive two hours before.... In the reception they were trying to tiss us by saying that we could leave the place if we wanted, it was eleven at night when we arrive aand we whent a very crowded weekend. It should be clearly said that it is not a Hotel but a Pension. If I have gone alone I would have been afraid of sleeping there alone. If it would have be consider in the web as a Pension then it could be consider as a fine pension, but then of course price should have been the half of it. There is no service during the day, nor reception, nor a place to wait or to have a cofe, just the rooms. My friends saw a rat in the basement while wating for the elevator. Even the rooms are not so bad, and they seem clean if we knew how it was we would have never gone.
The location is really good, walking distance from Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna, Via del Corso, Piazza del Popolo etc. (it might be difficult to find it at the beginning because there are no particular signs on the building, but if you look after Via Toscana no. 1 it's right there – just for orientation – near the US Consulate building). From Termini you can walk 15 minutes (google maps can help you) The staff was kind and friendly. The breakfast is served in the room and it was really good and sufficient. Monica treated us very nice and friendly and gave us very good advices where to go and where to eat. I strongly recommend this B&B for a nice trip to Rome.
Very friendly and helpfull staff. 10 minute walk to the Spanish stairs. Good value for money. Good for city trip. Bathroom a bit small but nothing to worry about. Breakfast only served at room since there is no lounge/breakfast area. Comfortabel bed.
Only small suggestion for improvement. Since there is no minibar in the room or lounge type of area it would be nice to just have a complimentary bottle of water at room.
Staff: Very nice, provides good information about restaurants, shops, etc. in Rome. Comfort: Staff cleans up the room every day. Location: Supermarket and restaurants close-by, only 80 metres to bus stop with direct connection to Colosseum, Forum Romanum...
Monica was excellent and pleasant from the time we arrived. She made some great suggestions and catered for our early breakfasts. We felt safe walking around at night and the sights were only a short walk away.
only 10 minutes walk from the Spanish steps so ideal location. Very friendly staff who were more than happy to help with any queeries about the city. Breakfast was also excellent with a good choice. If we visit Rome again Domus Via Veneto will be our chosen accomadation!
Breakfast was very good and served on bed. Staff was very friendly. Very safe neighborhood, with the American embassy and other fancy pants hotels located nearby. 2,7 km from Colosseum, but a metro stop is nearby (to the Vatican, or Roma Termini and further).
