The staff were excellent, very firendly and accomodating. It was like returning home every night. The room had an excellent outlook as we requested. The station was only 5 min away where we used the 24 hr hop on off bus. The area was very safe. The offer off colection from the airport is very good. As we had bags we paid 20 euros from the station. Night time prices. I would choose this again when staying in rome.

Stayed for 3 nights in Domus Aurea, chose the hotel for closeness to the Termini station and read that they have excellent breakfasts...and that`s true! There is plenty of everything you would like to eat in the morning: cereales (3 types) with nuts, dried apricots, prunes etc yogurts - natural and with fruits. At least 3 types of cheese + sliced bacon, meat, ham, omelette with hot bacon, sweet corn. Different types of coffee in coffee-machine, tea: black green fruit, juice:apple and orange + various baked goods: muffines, croissants, pies + berry and chocolate jams. Fuits!: apples, oranges, kiwi, melon. So if you have such a breakfast, you can travel around the city with easily till the evening meal for sure, maybe with a little lunch during the day)) We stayed in quite nice and modern room - windows on a small street, maybe for someone a little bit tiny but it`s enough space for 2 people especially we only slept there. Bathroom is veryyyyy good clean and modern, shower is strong and everytime has hot water, there are all bath accessories which you can need... but only 1 tooth brush for 2 people))) Slippers - but if you want be sure you`l have it in your room write on reception in advanced.Plazma TV - practically all channels are italian: 1 spanish+1 german. Wi-fi in lobby and in rooms. Very friendly responsive sympathetic pleasant responsible staff !!! - ready to help everytime and in everything. Can be little bit fresh in the morning but there is a blanket in the wardrobe. Be careful during taking a shower some water always go out of shower cubicle - its place near and under the radiator - in case you put someting to dry. Also its little bit uncomfortbale light in the room especially for women - make up))

The position of the hotel is perfect, near to the staton but also all major attractions within easy walk? Also some very good cares & restaurants close-by including La Famiglia and the Africa Bar QRoom was a little small and it would've been nice to enjoy the bar/ cafe area a bit more but we would certainly recommend the hotel to friends

The location was great, the hotel was a 5 min walk from Rome Termini station. Had no problems returning back to the hotel late. Most of the trains and buses come to Termini. The staff were really nice, they had placed a baby cot in my room when they know I had a 11 month old infant travelling. However, would recommend this hotel for young couple/group without children. The rooms were slightly smaller, so it was slightly difficult with the baby. Could be due to space contraint being in the heart of the city. All the staff were very courteous and warm, but had a very unpleasant encounter during checkout. Our rental car delivery was delayed and we were delayed by 45 minutes after 12:00 noon checkout. Mr. Giovanni had asked my wife and baby to vacate the room immediatly or would charge for an extra day if not vacated in 2 mins. So until I came back with the car, around 1:30 PM both of them were in the lobby and my baby was sweating due to the heat. I would have expected some courtesy after staying there for 5 days. Other than this incident, the stay was fine and the rest of the staff were good.

Within 5 minutes walk of bus/train connections with the airport and to every location in Rome and beyond Friendly and informative greeting at reception Room/bathroom spotlessly clean and comfortable Breakfast sumptuous and varied Antonio on reception was a fount of knowledge about his beloved city. With his help we were able to walk to most places and take in sites we would have missed without his help. Just tell him what your interests are and within seconds you have a personalised annotated map in front of you. Management was reassuringly present and interested in the views of their guests. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Thanks to all the staff for making this such an enjoyable stay.

Fantastic location near the main Termini station and Metro station. Well serviced with shops, cafes, buses, taxis etc. Tiny bedroom and bathroom not really suitable in size for two. The breakfast service was not very good from the point of view of cleanliness of tables and resetting. There was rarely any member of staff present during the breakfast service. You were constantly having to move other guests used crockery and try to find new.

Good location (5 minutes walk from the airport bus shuttle and turist bus stops), friendly staff, plentiful and delicious breakfast, excellent view from the roof garden, free wi-fi in the rooms. A bit cramped room, sometimes noisy guests sitting lately in the inside yard behind the window.

Firstly, I felt very welcomed, although I had some troubles with my credit card used for reservation. But the staff was excellent and able to understand that. Secondly, I noticed that the hotel is nice and clean as well as the room. Thirdly, I realized that despite the landscape from my window, the location is great almost for each poi of Rome. I also have to mention the garden on 6th floor and the breakfast. Don't miss the cheese! The landscape from the room is not the best. By the way, rooms are small. The bath is the smallest I ever seen, with a shower cabin not indicated for those over 100 kg. I also didn't like the blanket. There is too much noise in the neighborhood all night long and the walls seems to be very thin.

Cleanliness of the room, friendliness of majority of staff, convenient location. Leaking of shower tray (so that wiping of bathroom floor is necessary after every use of shower), breakfast: poor options for vegetarians.

The best attributes of this hotel are the friendly, English speaking staff, the excellent breakfast and the location. The hotel is located just a few blocks from Roma Termini, along the Via Volturna, though you’ll need to look carefully to find it. There is no large sign above the building, just two small gold colored plaques on the wall. It’s an easy walk, even if you have a lot of luggage. Once you’ve dumped that luggage off, you are right around the corner from several decent restaurants and a couple of nice churches, including the Santa Maria Vittoria, the one with Bernini’s St. Teresa sculpture. The Termini Metro stop is at Roma Termini, so you are very close to the Metro too. A couple of stops from that is the Colosseum and a few more on another line is Vatican City. The second great part about this hotel is the breakfast. This is no skimpy breakfast, but a full buffet, which will prepare you well for touring the city. Finally, the staff is excellent. All speak English, some exceptionally so. They were great at recommending places to visit. There are a few negatives, one being the size of the rooms, they are definitely on the smallish side, though the bathrooms are large. The wood tile floor in ours had some water damage at some point in the past, so it was loose and peeling in a few places. It would be nice if they got around to fixing that. Other than that, this hotel is good to come home to after a long day running around Rome.

I like that this hotel is only about 2 minutes walking to the Termini Station. It's easy to walk just about anywhere from this hotel as well. Additionally, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful sorting out any questions or issues. They were able to make recommendations of things in the area, and give directions, make changes to reservations, as well as provide a fairly competent concierge service. Wifi is excellent, and there were no problems with that either. The breakfast is fantastic. Every morning there are fresh breads, cheeses, and yogurts, along with dried fruits, Nutella, flaky and delicious pastries, dried fruits, and all with an amazing view over the Diocletian Baths. I would recommend passing on the coffee from the machine though. Just take the two minute walk to the Termini and get an espresso or a latte from one of the many coffee bars there. I'd read the reviews before that the rooms are small. And I was actually surprised at just how small it really was in reality. There really wasn't much space to put anything, let alone luggage. You have to use a bit of creativity to use the space. However, you're in Rome and how much time do you really need to spend in the room besides to shower and sleep?

Good location close to the railway station, subway and we easily walked to the center of Rome from our hotel. At the same time it was rather calm in the night. The staff was very helpful and nice. Rooms were very small though it didn't very much bothered us and we even managed to fit in some friends some evenings.

The location is perfect, next door to the Rimini station, nice and clean hotel. Breakfast is very good and is served on a lovely roof garden. Our room was a good sized one but the single room was a bit small but then again if you're only using it just to sleep it serves its purpose. Nothing to complain about really. Will use this hotel again when in Rome.
