Grand Hotel Palazzo Carpegna

Gode værelser, dem vi havde var dog kun med loftvinduer, men pæne og store, lyse værelser. God morgenbuffet, tæt ved metrostation dog lidt trafikeret vej hen til metroen. Vi spiste i restauranten en aften, det var ikke den helt store oplevelse, men det er nogle flotte omgivelser at spise i med højt til loftet og flotte lysekroner m.m.

Vi havde fået at vide, at der var tjek in kl. 14.00, men vi fik først vores værelser kl. 15.45, da de ikke var klar og vi hele tiden fik at vide, at de var klar om 20 min og så 30 min, det havde været rarare at få at vide, at der muligvis gik 2 timer, så havde vi kunne stille vores bagage og gå ud at finde et sted at spise eller lign. I øvrigt ville det klæ dem at byde på en kop kaffe eller lign.

The hotel was set in very nice grounds and the staff were very helpful. The hotel bar was in an extremely relaxing setting

The setting of the hotel was fine for getting to the centre of Rome as the Metro was not too far away. The breakfast was wonderful and the waiting staff very helpful. I also liked the left luggage facility.

The mould in the shower, and the fact that our room overlooked the bins.

The buffet style breakfast was excellent.

Lack of evening eating facilities at the hotel and surrounding area. It was also so far from the centre that travelling out for evening meals became a bind.

I loved the breakfast that was included in the price of our room. It was the best breakfast we had during our vacation out of the 5 countries we visited. Excellent food and especially the coffee!

We had a huge ant problem in our room and the airconditioning wasn't the greatest. Shower was iffy, room was small and very far away from main entrance. The halls were dirty, not swept, with dust bunnies everywhere. There was a peach pit on the stairs that remained there for the four nights we stayed. The location was okay for the price, but the area the hotel is located in is very dirty, (although not the grounds of the hotel, but when you leave them and are walking to the train) with graffiti everywhere, garbage on the dirty streets, scetchy looking people on the streets. Not many good restaurants around the area, and the hotel food is way too expensive. Didn't see many people eating in the hotel except for breakfast.

The hotel was quite so it was good for relax during nights. Breakfast was also good.

It is not close to Rome city center and the room we got was too far from the hotel entrance.

It was a lovely building in a really nice location. It was very grand. The majority of the staff were very nice and helpful.

Air conditioner needs to be more powerful. Mildew in shower stall.

The hotel room is big and comfort. The location is great: near the metro and near a good bus stations. Just 20 munutes from the city center (by metro or bus).

The metro was nearby.

The rooms were a little small.

Nice hotel that is close to the metro and has lots of free parking which is unusual for Rome. Would definitly stay there again.

It needed somewhere to hang towel when you are in the shower
