The location was very good and the public transport very convenient. We really liked the building and the park in which it is situated. The breakfast was perfect. The room was a little bit small for three people and you could hear sounds from next rooms

Good location. Close to the Cornelia metro station (about 10 minutes walk). Lots of fresh air and no city noise. Beautiful building. Many different TV channels. Breakfast was more than ok. No sound isolation. We ordered so called "hi-speed" internet... in fact - VERY slow and VERY expensive. Breakfast menu was the same every morning.

The beds were extremely comfortable, the staff were willing and able. The location was brilliant, after 2 days dealing with the non stop hassle of the city it was wonderful to be able to go back to the relative sanctuary of the hotel. No wi fi due to constant breakdowns, no iron, attitude of a few staff was not up to scratch.

The room was quiet and clean. The breakfast was more than OK. I had to argue with the reception staff about the Internet access. According to them, "Free! Wi-Fi is available in some hotel rooms and is free of charge," as written on Booking.com, means that Executive rooms have Internet access included while Classic rooms have not. There is no such information on the Booking.com website! Finally, I was given the access code. Nevertheless, it cost me a lot of time and nerves. Definitely, this is not a 4-star hotel. A lot of facilities need replacing or refurbishing. The desk in the Classic room is too small for a 15" notebook.

It's close to Metro so it's easy for travelers to get to the places. Rooms are clean. Staff are friendly. Location is a lttle far from the city center, so there's not much to see around the hotel. Three beds room is really small that the door can hardly be opened because one of the beds is so close to the door. WIFI is not free in rooms (only availabel in the lobby area).

Domus Mariae is a fascinating place, with the discrete elegance of the early half of the 1900s; some decorations and the lights are breathtaking. Very conveniently located for the metro, yet in the middle of a park. I liked it very much. Sound insulation between floors is poor: one should prefer floor 4

An exterior of the hotel is amazing. Their front desk staff is much better then in Ergiff Hotel round the corner, much better!!! That's why I booked this hotel because in Ergiff Hotel staff was unhelpful and unfriendly. No internet!!! In rooms :( The bathroom we had needs some work. They DO NOT HAVE AN IRON IF YOU NEED IT! CARREFUL WHEN GOING ON BUSINESS. Didn't like taxi No 25 be careful when they book it for you, driver is mad person. I asked at reception to give a small gift to the friend of mine (bottle of wine or aything), who told us about this hotel so we booked it. My friend was in the other room but never got anything, even thank you from manager. We had a conference in Ergiff hotel for 1000 people and many of them living in Ergiff was not happy about service. We could bring much more clients for Mariae but with no appreciation from manager we didn't. They need to re-think their marketing...

Right I booked this hotel for my boyfriend for his birthday present and we had a good time staying there for three night, breakfast was amazing, bed was comfortable and the location is great not far from the metro and easy to get central Rome. My only issue is the toilet and the shower for 4 start hotel I would never I thought I would see mouldy shower and toilet which needed a bleach!!! Was the most disgusting thing I ever seen, they either they should change the cleaning staffs or change the hotel at lest 2 star hotel I stayed in 4 and 3 stars hotel and I tell you this I never seen dirty toilet like I seen in this hotel which meant to be 4 stars. I went and I complained to the staff TWICE and I showed them the pics I taken of the bathroom and they advised they will get someone to cleaned it up but no one did. And funny enough we went with a friend ours and stayed in the same hotel and they had the same problem as we did with bathroom. However if you don’t have a problem staying at hotel with dirty bathroom then this hotel is one for you because In terms of location and breakfast is great.

The breakfast was great! A lot of parking place. Location was good (near a Metro station). The shower. Water temperature kept varying from hot to cold to hot to cold, it was very annoying. There is free Wi-Fi only in the lobby, in other ares (including the rooms) it costs money.

The hotel is a palazzo, in the middle of a huge green park, an oasis after one full noisy day in the ever crowdy Rome. Nice views from the windows to the gardens. Even though is a bit far from the city center (6 metro stations) it is the place you wish to return at the end of the day. Egg powder for breakfast? Not a good idea since the rest of the breakfast is very nice.

While almost at the edge of the Rome Metro system, it offers a traquil location away from the noise of the city in an aging but charming building. Breakfast was first class Room was rather small and while it had quality furnishings and fittings the white walls were very badly markd and quite dirty in places. eg at the toilet door etc.

The Domus Marie Palazzo offered everything I was looking for in a hotel stay in Rome. It was a good value, free parking, WiFi, Metro Stop and not located in the center of a tourist area. The hotel is located within a 5 minute walk of the metro station. The hotel grounds are quite large and boardering a large park that includes a dog park if you are missing your dog. The neighborhood restaurants offer local pricing and the selection is plentiful. The hotel offers a wonderful breakfast with a wide variety of selections.

Generally we had a good stay. I was a bit afraid because of the mixed reviews. Breakfast has a good selection. Small twin room but clean and functional. Beds are comfortable. Staff could be more friendlier. The receptionist named Vito needs to loosen up. We are paying guests for crying out loud.

the hotel building is impressive the facilities (restaurant, bar, breakfast rooms, lobby) were great the breakfast was superb the rooms are nice and clean the location was good for our needs (near the metro and bus stops - easy access to the ring road) the free parking is a great advantage The major problem of the hotel is the staff who probably are not properly trained to carry out a booking, to complete a credit card transaction, to admit a mistake and try to find a solution. But most of all they have not learned to say sorry even when they make obvious mistakes causing inconvenience. The hotel policy concerning triple rooms: they actually try to sell double rooms for triple (according to our experience with two different "triple rooms").

Very good value for money hotel, it is a palazzo transformed into a hotel,7' walk from metro station, quiet - nice garden, nice breakfast. A real 4 star hotel. No wi-fi reception in room, but there is a lounge besides the reception where you can access the internet.

Not much. The exterior looks nice, that's about it. Airconditioning in our junior suite did not work. Only other option was a regular room. No refund or other type of compensation was offered. Staff didn't seem to be interested in any guests. Breakfast in Italy with instant coffee, really? Restaurant setting is strange and food looked good but did not live up to the expectation. Glad we only stayed one night and moved to a much better hotel in the city.

Breakfast Buffet is Good, assorted and nice , Mostly all Beverages were available , being not far from Sub way (Metro) Train Station, although as a stranger mostly we were going from the wrong exit of the station and end up on the most far way.the park which surround the hotel is very pretty and relaxing, this a good Supermarket near it and Restaurants ,also bus stations were also near, which was very helpful 1. Receptionists don't speak good English and was not able to help me for whatever I asked them (she even did know what does a local call mean) 2. You can only sleep on the room, as no free TV At all, no Internet , TV is everything for price , so either you pay or get bored, and public Area is too crowded with people wants to use Free Internet. 3. Rooms are very small, you can hardly move around it. 4. The Safe is Very Small and a little complacated complicated
