Staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful.
The location was a bit far out for what we wanted but the metro meant that places were easy to reach.
Password for WiFi I have got only from the 3d attempt on the reception. Previous 2 were wrong. The windows did not closed. At the midnigth (!!!, when I was sleeping) I have recieved the call from the reception with the proposal to change the room
We've been to this same hotel about 7 years ago and on return found that they've refurbished some of the parts which look even better now then they did back then. The Staff we're very friendly and helpful
the location, the gardens.Breakfast was lovely.
Some of the staff were rude, one in particular told me to calm down and hung up the phone, he was irate and extremely rude. the food in the restaurant (for dinner) was poor.I stayed in this hotel twice before and it was lovely however this time that was not our experience.
It's a lovely hotel and the grounds are pretty Breakfast is good The reception has been modernised nicely
Rooms were really run down and need updating Some of the desk staff were pretty rude
- Bar and drinks - Wi Fi - Location
- Noisy - 4th floor very bad rooms, i changed the reservation and payed more to get a room in the second floor. - Bad Restaurant
I have read some great reviews and not so great. However myself and my partner are very shocked at the bad reviews as there was nothing not to like. The hotel was stunning outside and inside. Everything was exactly as you see in the photos. There was no bath as previously commented however in several hotels we've stayed in there hasn't being a bath and I don't think this makes any difference to the hotel.
Breakfast was basic but just like any other
Rooms and location were good .bathroom and especialy shower were small ,breakfast was ample but ran out if you came after 9 AM
Under renovation, shower very small.
- Dirty showers - Very rude staff - Breakfast used to be good (2011), now its poor - Trash pick up at 5 a.m. - poor wifi
Hotel was very grand to look at inside and out. Gardens were nice, OK distance to walk from the the Metro.
Huge breakfast room full of guests from group tours, breakfast not so delicious.. bulk produced! Staff OK but could have been a bit more nicer. I read that the area was a but dodgy.. and this was correct. Man shooting up near McDonalds on the street - 10pm ish.
This hotel exceeded our expectation. The staff were very helpful and a the room was very clean and comfortable. I was particularly impressed with the breakfast buffet, so much choice and everything seemed freshly prepared.
The hotel could really do with a spa/sauna to soothe guests after all the walking around the city. Free WiFi in the rooms would be nice too.
Staff very polite and helpful. Location is ideal.
Lack of internet connection in the room. Room very small for value.
No hassle to guests
Smell of the sealant.
There was a really nice free breakfast with lots of great options. The place was off the street a little bit which made it nice and quiet. It was close to metro stop so it was really easy to get around from there. Lastly, there was a huge grocery store really close which allowed for affordable drinks and snacks.
The bed was very stiff and was uncomfortable on our backs.
The breakfast was nice. I also enjoyed being a little out of the city & catching the tube was quick and easy to the main attractions
The front desk staff could have been a little more friendly. The rooms were really plain. The beds were a bit uncomfortable as well
Bathroom ceiling tiles held in place with wads of tissue paper. Paint flaking off in bathroom. Floor tiles loose. Air con very noisy. With curtains closed aircon vent blocked. Certainly NOT a 4 star hotel.
Very close to metro, quiet place, very clean rooms
Not that friendly staff...
Location 10 minute walk from metro (Cornelia); peaceful and quiet surroundings (far from road); easy free parking; decent breakfast; Joseph restaurant near metro stop great for pasta and pizza.
noise from rooms adjacent and above (footsteps and baby crying).
Room ok once we rejected an attic room, staff helpfull. Close to Metro.
We were not informed about refurb in progress and lack of facilities. Hotel web site picture gallery & description very misleading, it's from another time. Makeshift reception & bar area due to refurb. Bar very expensive 32 euros fo 4 beers, therefore empty. Surrounding area untidy and downmarket. Air conditioning did not work.
Hotel in remodeling. So most of the facilities where closed. No one told us about this before reservations. Most of the staff were kind and gentle, except two guys in the front desk in different days who were not gentle.
Front desk staff not friendly, no WIFI in rooms. Our triple room had three twin beds and when you opened the door part way it hit the bed. Room was not a triple
The building itself was beautiful, nice grounds and close to transit
I enyoded my stay in hotel.
