Domus Pacis Torre Rossa Park  

Calme et transports en commun trés proches; excellent petit dèjeuner

6 nuits en ce début d'août 2011. Très facile à trouver et facilement accessible, 10 minutes avec le bus 881 ou 98 au départ de Saint-Pierre et en plus un bus de nuit n°15 depuis Termini; arrèt face au domaine. Toutes info dès l'arrivée 24/24h. Très beau jardin, calme et propre. Metro station Cornelia ligne a à 10 minutes à pied. Que demander de plus.Il y a plein de restaurant dans les environs. Ici c'est l'Italie.

La terrasse, le jardin et la situation géographique de l’hôtel sont les points forts.

On Arrival, Hotel looks nice, but close inspection is terrible. Front Desk Staff only a young blond lady in the meorning was nice the others terrible and rude. Hotel is dirty, you can spot cobweb everywhere, The young Lady works in the bar in the evening was the must rude person I have met, my friends and I were in shock with her attitude. Carpet in my room, room 201 very dirt and for long has not seen a vaccum at all. And the worst, I have returned with several bits which by pharmacist is a bed bugs bits. I would never recoment this place no anyone.

I was comfortable staying at Domus Pacis Torre Rossa Park because I have stayed there before. The staff are very helpful and speak English!! The location is also convenient and there is a bus stop right outside the hotel premises that takes you right into the City Centre. Two thumbs up!!

The rooms do not look as they appear on the internet!

This is a well situated hotel for arriving by car, no need to drive into the city centre - plenty of parking. A frequent bus from just outside takes you to St Peters and the city only 4 euros for a day's transport on buses/metros/trams, and the hotel bar sells the tickets - very convenient. Good breakfast from 6.30am - 10am so you can pace your start. Nice gardens for a drink if weather is good. Nice looking modern hotel with preserved old villa in the garden.

This hotel unfortunately is popular with school trips, possibly due to being able to park coaches easily.On a 4 night stay we had three disrupted nights due to Spanish teenagers running about and slamming doors, on one night until 4am. We had to confront them each night. One party stayed for two nights then another party came, same problem.We complained to the hotel management but nothing really was done. 'Normal' gusts should not be mixed up with school parties, they are incompatible.

I liked the friendly attitude of all the staff, whether it was the desk, room service or breafast room. A really confortable stay.

Clean rooms with dressing gowns which were not expected. Good breakfast buffet

Hotel mainly used for conferences and coach trips. No evening restaurant available to non coach/conference trip although they served food. Only limited bar food available.Rooms small. A good 20 minute walk to nearest Metro station.

It was too far out of the city centre, even though it claimed to be within walking distance to the vatican city, the staff were unhelpful and offered no assistance in helping us to make our way via public transport

The hotel was fairly good value for money and had an acceptable cleanliness standard. Rooms were big enough and quiet enough to get a good night's sleep. Air-con available in the room. Easy access to bus which takes about 20 min to get guests in the direction of downtown Rome.

Staff was very unfriendly - a smile goes a long way. They did help with certain requests such as booking an appointment for an attraction but it didn't seem like they were interested in generating any repeat business through their service. Room cleanliness could have been improved - they don't seem to be hoovered very often. Breakfast was the same every day and of very low quality and choice. It's is more of a 'you need energy so you'll eat it anyway' type of breakfast.

The economic price and the closeness to the Vatican. Great place to stay, this is our 3rd time spending time at Domus Pacis.... thanks.

The hotel is located in a nice neighbourhood and the older building in the middle of the hotel area gave it a nice touch. The room was a reasonable size. The location is ok even though not very close to any attractions it is reasonable by bus and metro. Breakfast was served in a beautiful large room and the choices were good. Variety of coffee selections, tea with lemon! Cheese, cold cuts, cereals, bread, pastry.

The only missing thing was some tomatoes for breakfast.
