Boasting a spacious rooftop terrace, Hotel Alpi is an Art-Nouveau style property a 5 minute walk from Termini Train Station. Castro Pretorio Metro Station is only 1000 ft from the hotel.

The staff and their attitude ......very rude and not helpful at all
Excellent location and lovely staff.
Groups very noisy at night time.
-Staff was really helpfull -Cleanliness but the building was some kind under construction so there was a lot of dust. -Good location 500 meters from Metro to go everywhere in the city.
Problem with the aircondition there was a lot of cold in the room and the aircondition takes hours to get the room warm.We asked for 1 double and they gave us a room with twin beds. The beds wasnt comfort at all..... I think the hotel is overvalued maybe a half of the price would be fair.... We order wine they told us that the cost was 30 euros and we finally paid 50 euros.... I don't think i could book again in this hotel whenever i come back to Rome.
Room was clean and warm (outside was freaking cold!) staff was friendly. Great value for money considered it was Rome during New Year's Eve break. Absolutely recommendable.
A bit far from metro, not in the best area of Rome. Small room (ordered triple room, found to stay in a double with extra bed).
wonderfull location, very beautiful, well located friendly and competent service
location, the hotel building (it is part of old basilica), price
breakfast was too poor
Location is good. Room was clean and comfortable. And good price.
Hotel has Wi-Fi but only reception, you cannot connect to Wi-Fi from your room!
Unusually located in a monastery building with a good view.
I booked a double room for 2 nights 1 week prior to my arrival. It was confirmed. 2 days before arrival I asked to confirm a double bed rather than twin - it was confirmed. Early in the morning we arrived to the hotel to leave our luggage. There until chek-in at 1 pm. They said everything is Ok, please come at 1 pm. So 3 times everything was confirmed We got back at 1:30 to check in. But we were told that allegedly there was an internet failure there were no rooms for the first night and suggested that we should move to another hotel (and showed it on the map, not far) for the first night and can return to this hotel tomorrow. And this was said after 3 confirmations! I didn't agree and insisted that they would find a room we reserved. Reception woman (with narrow face and in glasses) told she was not allowed to make such decisions, only manager could do it. I wanted to speak with a manger but was told that he would arrive only tomorrow afternoon (Sunday by the way!). I didn't believe it and asked to make a call but was refused... After half an hour of bla-bla-bla she told that there is a different room smaller and with a narrower bed for one night. I was offered to take it without reducing a price. Well... After having a look at it I finally decided to agre (assuming to get breakfasts for free at least). But when I came to reception I saw how two persons were checking in and were given the room exactly that I had reserved and that were not available according to a legend! Now I became really angry as there were rooms available but not for me for some reason. Complete nonsense and disrespect to a client!!! Starting from this moment I insisted more strictly to provide me with a room I had ordered. By this time another pair came to check in into a double room for sure. And they had to wait for us to work it all out.
Hotel is inside an old abbey. It brings NO problem. Great terrace on the roof with a magnificent view, especially at night.
A bit old and outdated design of the room, but personally I would not consider it.
Service is very good, waiters are nice, and the overall equipment is very good. The hotel is like a castle with many interesting pictures, good experience
No wifi in rooms and takes a while to walk to Metro
I didn't like anything.
The breakfast was terrible it was really poor and the food itself wasn't Good. The rooms are just really Good when you have a suite otherwise you get a little room that you can barelly fit in thats really ugly and the view its terrible if there is any. At night i heard sounds of a generator and i coundn't sleep, i exchanged rooms three times because of it and some of the staff wasn't very polite. In the end they told me to switch hotels, so i had to sleep with the windows open because the noises of the street covered the generators sound, Hate It.
Not so close to city center. After metro is closed, taxi is the only way to come back to hotel
View from window. The young lady on staff on Saturday who tended bar was very friendly. Rooms were spacious.
The attitude of our first host at reception on Saturday Aug. 24 th. He made our party of 7 feel like we were intruding when we checked in, and the cleaning staff slammed the door on our young grand children.
Nice location, bus and metro within 10 minutes walk, decent breakfast, polite and helpful staff, most of whom spoke english, small but clean and tidy rooms, all in an excellent price! Recommended!
Some details regarding the cleanness, which though were rather minor and might be related to our room only. Other than this, everything more than ok!
- Astonishing view from a relaxing terrace - Historical location - Large and quite room - good service - contintal breakfast with hot "cornettos"
- might be difficult to find from steet, because there are neither sign nor banner outside the hotel
Location slightly out of city centre but good transport links and an opportunity for some quiet away from centre of town. Beautiful old building but in need of repair. Spectacular views from roof terrace.
No sense of management and a central point due to lay out of hotel which is quite scattered and requires a fair bit of walking once inside. Cafe not readily available or open much although advertised.
Location Price Staff Breakfast Beautiful church!
WiFi only in lobby No double bed
I liked the location. I like the fact that is was across from a park where I could jog. I was in a Monastery which was charming and unique and attached to a church. It was reasonably prices and the staff was very helpful. They had a very nice roof top with tables and chairs that overlooked the city.
The television was very tiny and old fashion with only a few channels. The bed & pillows were not very comfortable at all. There was no hot water the first 2 days so we had to take cold showers and the hotel did not offer any compensation for the inconvenience
The location is great, the rooms are extraordinary.
We would have liked a chair or two in our 4 bed room
Loved the fact that we could come away from the bustle of downtown Rome, but we're only 20 minutes from everything. Wonderful atmosphere.
Beautiful place, outside
Isn't near Termini! Water dripped from the ceiling
Rome was hot while we were there and the air-conditioning was excellent. The staff were helpful and the buffet breakfast was great.
Location, close to Termini Train Station, experience to sleep on an old monastary
Air conditioning did not work. Continental breakfast with not so many food options.
very good hotel, friendly staff, nice rooftop view and close to METRO and Tram services.
No wifi in the room.
