Only the location
The bed was hard, the bath room looks old. The lift is so small and only one that you have to wait quite long when many check outs all at once.
I was happy with our stay here. The facilities were nice and the bathroom was big and clean. The breakfast was good.
The only problem we had was with the heat. When we arrived in the room it was very hot. We asked them to turn it down. Later we asked for them to turn it off during the night. I woke up in the middle of the night (4am) and the heater was on and on full blast. We couldnt figure out how to call the front desk so my bf had to dress and go down and ask again for it to be turned off.
Decent cheap hotel. Breakfast is quite decent compared to other places in Italy which just give a croissant. Quiet at night, and able to walk to all the main attractions in Florence.
There is no kettle in the room and the staff were rather unhelpful when we asked for some hot water. This is a moderate hotel, decent for what you pay for, it isn't super fancy.
The location, the price, and staff were amazing
That the walls are not even slightly sound proof
The location is just perfect
The toilet was rather small and it had a very bad smell. The room was very small as well, we paid for a room for 4 people and they gave us a room for 3. We didn't have internet connection
personally good location view on the park of piazza indipendenza parking lot (they let you keep your car with a big time flexibility)
they charge you for everything (parking, Wiifi, leaving your suitcase at the conciergerie, etc..) Poor breakfast (not in quantity but in quality)
Location is everything, and this hotel's location is perfect. From the train station, walk directly across the street, go right and walk to the corner stop light. Then turn left, and it's about 10 minutes ahead at the far side of the Piazza Indipendencia. It's also a ten minute walk to the historic quarter (from the hotel, walk about half way back toward the train station, then follow signs to the left.) The building itself is rather old--what historic buildings are not?--but the gorgeous Murano glass chandeliers in every room give it a wonderful stately appearance. On a trivial note... loved the shampoo packets scent.
Wish wifi would have been free. Breakfast was crowded and a bit bland. Consistent line up at the lone coffee machine.
not so much varieties on the breakfast
Good sized room, high ceiling and nice furniture. Convenient bathroom. Situation in Florence excellent.
Rather chaotic breakfast of large number of people serving themselves in a small space, over flowing into a very pleasant but exposed garden. Rooms could be noisy and mosquito prone
ancient and well-equiped
Noisy air conditioning, stain on bed spread (pointed out, but not replaced) noisy sports teams, below average breakfast
Good location , just 5 min walking to the centre, big room with big comfotable beds and big bathroom. Not very new one, but still nice.
Breakfast could be little better, but for this price is still OK
Tranquility Cleanliness Design A real Italian hotel
Good location, a few minutes walk from the train station and not too far from the main sites. Spacious room with ornate ceiling and lovely bathroom with large bath. Helpful staff. Good buffet breakfast.
Pigeons in the outdoor breakfast seating area.
Nothing. There were no issues with this hotel.
Its a nice hotel good location good breakfast
you have to pay for everything, wifi, locker, luggage storage,...
We had a nice room, and I'm glad we were not close to the restoran, because someone who ate, could see everything in my room.
Breakfast poor,Aircondition couldn't be stopped by myself... only from the reception!?!?!?! It was freezing! The receptionist didn't want (know how) to turn it off..... dissapointed also about Parking!!! Receptionist offered me parkin for 30eur only for the night, and it cost 20eur actually....almost everywhere...
Lovely building, quiet location, friendly staff.
Poor breakfast, served until 9.30am. Hundreds of mosquitoes in Florence!
Good size room
No air conditioning
Good location. 10 minutes walk from station and 15 from Duomo. Found staff to be friendly and helpful, they gave us an available room when we arrived early for check in and helped us with our luggage. Good continental breakfast which staff constantly replenished. Website said we would have to pay for Wi-Fi however on asking found we could have free access in the lounge area which we appreciated. Room was clean and quiet with a modern clean bathroom. Would stay here again.
