This is a beautiful old building. Our room looked over the garden which is lovely. It is very old, but felt clean and comfortable while still retaining it's charm. The area of Rome it is in was very quiet with cute streets to walk around on and enjoy. Lot's of good places to eat. Loved it. Very hard to find by car when new in Rome. Pull a taxi over and follow it or make sure you have a gps. Worth the effort !! |

What an exquisite hotel! Calm, peaceful, tastefully decorated, gorgeous and serene courtyard overlooking a 900 year old building and rooftops beyond. This hotel was one of the highlights of our visit to Roma. Bella! |

Excellent sparkling clean facilities, very friendly and helpful staff (made all museum reservations for us), great breakfast buffet in a museum-like room, great bed/bedding, best location in Rome! (10-25 min walk to any Rome's attraction including Vatican, right is the middle of beautiful Trastavere neighborhood) our room was a little stuffy/smelly. |

The atmosphere from the gate to every corner of this hotel, the breakfast room, our room which had a nice view from the bedroom and another one also very nice from the bathroom, the interior courtyard with roses and sun in the morning, the breakfast and the staff caring for details. My first pillow which was hard (although we had an executive room). I asked for a soft one and I got it. The noise of the steps on the stones on the corridors and from the room next to ours. I thought that the walls were thicker (since it is an old building), but one could hear even normal voices of the neighbours. |

This is an absolutely outstanding hotel! The staff is fantastic and the building itself is absolutely magnificent. The hotel is also located in a great neighbourhood with many restaurants and bars and is on walking distance from al the main attractions of Rome. |

Beautiful, classic, romantic and historic building - there actually is a chapel and a nunnery in the hotel and you will meet some very charming nuns walking in the great halls. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful gardens. Proximity to the Trastevere, Campo di Fiori, Capitole areas, as well as, restaurants was superb. Sounds penetrate from the hallways into the rooms but not vice versa. Because of the marble floors you will here other guests and staff when they walk down your hallway. |

staff were wonderful giving personalised service, we felt really welcome, room big & comfortable, area quiet yet lively down the street in the restaurant quarter, easy walking access to the vatican in one direction and across ponte sisto to piazza navarro etc etc on the other the internet system in room is hopeless, too slow, typing wouldnt work for emails, suggest a public single internet broadband downstairs of say 3 or 4 computers such as in the sofitel in melbourne. |

Staff was superb, friendly and helpful. hotel new beautifully renovated convent and in fantastic shape. Breakfast above average. With windows open, very quiet at night-embassy's, private schools can be found in neighborhood. restaurants near by , walking distance, including AnticaPesa which is at 18 Via Garibaldi vs 27 for hotel and a top Rome restaurant. be prepared to walk to city centre or pay about 10 euro per trip to reach Colloseo, Vatican or Trevi fountain area. In our opinion well worth it and if not for just 2 noght stay we would have walked some of the day trips. |

Beautiful hotel in tranquil location but very close to the Ponte Siste and Campo dei fiori. We had a lovely view from our second floor room. The building is historic and not overdone. Highly recommended for a splurge in Rome! The map on the website could be more accurate for those arriving on public transportation, as we were. Also I was not able to connect to the internet from my room for some reason. |

Staff on Reception are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Hotel has an understated elegance, and was a peaceful retreat from hustle and bustle of Rome, whilst being within easy walking distance of many of the sites. There is a good selection of restaurants nearby, we would recommend Da Fabrizio in Via di Santa Dorotea Roof terrace not currently in use. |

It was a beautifully refurbished former convent with lots of original features. It was quiet yet less than 100 metres from a area with good bars and restaurants. the trastavere district is perfect as it close enough to wlak anywhere in the city center but all the attractions of staying in the 'left bank' of Rome The bar prices !! |
