The lady who runs the place is extremely pleasant. The breakfast is abundant and nicely presented but overly abundant, with supermarket type products. Would have preferred quality to quantity.

On the website the property looked spacious, it is not. I suppose if you have children and want a hotel with a pool, you would like this hotel. I do not know about the other rooms but the one we were given was so small we did not have space to open our 2 suitcases. It is a room for one person, not two. The hotel is situated in a ugly looking street in a dull and ugly looking suburb. What no one mentions is the surroundings of the property which is next to a concrete building which is the local police station. The nearest town is Pezze di Greco which is an uninteresting little town with nothing to write home about. I would not have minded the ugly and depression surroundings if at least we had a decent room but to be cooped up in a room with no privacy - you have to close all doors and windows as everyone else sees you - and with no space to even stay in your room comfortably, to be in a backyard garden with a swimming pool in a property in an ugly suburb, this is not Italy, at least not one I am used to. To be charged euros 90 for this, no!

The location was just perfect for visiting the towns of Puglia and Matera. Everywhere was within easy reach. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing with the superb quality alfresco breakfast and pool-side loungers.

    Nothing. Tutti bene!

This is a small but beautifully formed Bed and Breakfast hotel with only six rooms. The staff are wonderful, the breakfasts top quality and the setting very peaceful but close to amenities. It is quiet so don't expect liveliness. We were the only visitors during our stay. It's setting is ideal for exploring Puglia. We visited Posignano, Arabello, Martina Franca, Locorondo, Otranto Lecce and several other places really easily by car. The hotel has a good sized swimming pool which was covered while we were there.

The room was slightly cold but we did visit in March. I should imagine the room would be ideal in summer. The room was also slightly small but this was not a problem for us as we literally only slept there.

Nice small house, pleasant management, amazing breakfast (all fresh and biggest selection of tasty food ever). Clean, well maintained and cosy rooms. Top price-quality balance ( we paid 75 euro for a night).

Minuses: we had the room N6 on the side of the parking and the road which is very busy and the traffic starts at 6am. Take with you a working mobile phone, as on arrival you might need to call the owners - they are not always on spot.

My husband and I have travelled to Italy many times and have stayed in many different hotels and Donna Lucrezia has to be our best find. It was truly an amazing place to stay. The property itself is gorgeous and well-maintained and the individual rooms are very beautiful. Anna, the woman that runs this place is the most accomodating person we have ever met. Her breakfasts are the best we've had in Italy...we will miss them. My husband and I will defintely be going back.
