In late June, the owner mailed, through Booking.com, asking me to confirm my reservation. I just confirmed without asking more details. It may be my misunderstanding to wait for the owner to inform how to get to his property. For properties locate inside the ZTL, guests should be informed of driving and parking. If these were not stated in Booking.com, the owner should inform them, by mail or phone. In my case, no more emails from Donna Nobile. On arrival we called, the male owner's English was not so easy to communicate. Our group felt unease with his first suggestion to park outside the wall and walk with our luggage, under that summer Tuscan Sun.
After a short waiting, the friendly and helpful owner ride a motorbike to lead us to his property. His quiet, clean and spacious apartment is on the ground floor of a building, isolated from the main B&B. The kitchen and dinning area was clean and well equipped. Air conditioning and WiFi worked well. Views from windows were not great and it seemed rather dark inside. (Tips: To get a room with views of the Towers or bright countryside, you'd better book other types of room.)
