ADI Doria Grand Hotel  

Loveley hotel in great location

In fact it is an old fashion grand hotel. The room is standard. Fortunately the staff gave us a room on 10th floor so that we would have an open view of the city. The buffet breakfast is good though not many choices.

Easy to find as the big signboard is obvious once you walks the right direction after train station. Breakfast is great. The beds are so comfortable that both of us woke up very late in the morning.

the Italian crescent bread served as breakfast was awesome.Also the design of the rooms were very luxury and classy.

The internet connectivity and its price was very disappointing. The reception service did not have the expected hospitality. Comparing it to many hotels in other countries I highly doubt the staff are trained in the level of a 4 star hotel. I really felt I was getting service in a 3 star hotel.

location to central station

The floor of the bathroom was absolutely filthy dirty. I accidently spilled some water from the shower onto the floor and decided to mop it up with some toilet tissue. The Toilet Tissue was black with dirt after it. Also the corridors were very noisey at night and there seemed to be guests smoking on in the corridors. There was a very strong smell of smoke in the hall outside the room the next morning.

Hotel was very good.

Nice breakfast buffee. Very quiet hotel - no noise from the street nor the subway. Very big and well equipped room.

Soaps were replaced every day. It is not necessary to put them to waist - one can use 1 soap for the whole stay!

The front desk staff were definitely friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was done daily with towels changed.

Certain parts of the room has definitely aged and some minor upgrading will be good. We stayed in room 828 (I hope I remembered correctly) and the hair dryer is spoilt.

The hotel is very well located, with good rooms and good services.

Location room was fairly clean and comfortable

'Wi-Fi is free of charge for 1 hour per stay'!!! Don't misunderstand this sentence. Only on the day you arrive you got 1 hour wifi for free! Staff at reception was really unfriendly or even rude for the first three days! Only when we checked out, they changed another gentleman, who was good enough as a star hotel receptionist! Breakfast was poor and service was so so... Could not be convinced it's a 4 star hotel:(

Comfort, friendlyness.

Location near the station was good as we had to catch airport shuttle buses the following day. Also the noon checkout was very useful as I had a late flight.

Location near the huge Centrale station is good for airport buses but it means having to pass various dodgy looking characters all around the station and in the adjoining streets if you are walking to the hotel. I wouldn't recommend it for females walking alone in the dark and it is probably too close to take a taxi. The hotel has an old fashioned look about it but everything worked ok and was clean.
