Staff made you feel they were pleased you stayed here. Reasonably convenient for station and city centre. Breakfast not extensive but just right for me.
The room is quite small. The water takes a long time to heat up
Really liked the local area. Nice little cafes and a cool street of shops. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Quite far to walk to the train station or the Duomo. Nice walk, though. Anticipate fourty minutes to each place. Some mould in the bathroom and underneath the window ledge.
I liked the location which was very close to Piazza Duomo and next to the Tram station. The staff was very friendly offering whatever we needed for breakfast. The room was cleaned and the towels changed every day. The hotel’s location is not in the main street making it much quieter than the noisy Milano.
The street in itself is not noisy but there is the garbage collector that creates some kind on noise early in the morning which was slightly noticed even from the front window.
The location was great. The guys who work there were very helpful when I had a question about a taxi or directions to go somewhere and offered coffee before heading out which I thought was a nice touch.
The shower was very small and not the cleanest and the door fell off the latches very easily and it became a challenge to get them back on.
No lift, very poor breakfast
Staff does everything to make you feel at home.
Dirty, small, funghus in the shower...
The staff was excellent, kind and helpful.
The bathroom was too small and the shower cabin was mouldy.
nice room and pretty clean and staff was friendly and helpful. location is very central and can use old tram lines to go milano central and duomo which is nearby
no lift and poor breakfast. good coffee though!
clean room quiet place
the way from central station was terrible on map, so it takes us a long time walking with baggage to get there, but with those old tram which are not listed on map, we find a direct way to return to station. WiFi connection was poor
Nice staff. Location. Bed was confortable but small.
No lift. Decor.
Nice staff, the room is comfort and with a lovely balcony. Nice and quiet surroundings, near famous scenic spots and tram station
Far away from Train station, place of taking bath is small and shower is poor, don't have lift
love the coffee and lovely staffs
the rooms are too smallvalue for money - no not really. On booking.com, it says close to the Milan Central railways station, but it is not. It's quite far, infact its even about 20 to 25 minutes from the Doumo. My stay was only for a night, arrived late and left early next day. Breakfast was simple, very basic.
Good location to tram lines for Milan Central Station. For a city like Milan and price level of this hotel, it is merely a sheltered place to sleep overnight. Room's furniture has been done up to a decent standard. The shower space is a very small box but works well otherwise.
The bed is a bit narrow and short for a smaller than average person. The bathroom is waiting its turn to be done up... its facilities are okay (towels, hairdryer, shampoo sachets), though it would be better if the finer details of cleanliness on the walls and moulded shower ceiling are taken care of. Door key needs a bit of refurbishing... lock is fine but aging. Doors are not so sound-proof but didn't detect noise issues, thanks to the earplugs. Though there seemed to be machine noise occuring at regularly intervals through the night into the early mornings... don't know if it's the boiler for central heating or mini-fridge in the wardrobe. This is just okay only if the overnight sleep is not essential to your next day's activities. Watch out for the bin collectors who start working on the street outside the hotel at around 6.30 am - enough to wake people up.
everything was fantastic!!
location, walking distance to the center
It is absolutely good location for the hotel. Walking distance to Duomo and town centre and easy reach from Airport Linate. Loads good Italian restaurants around as well.
It is a little noisy as my room is located on the ground floor so I can hear people talking at reception and I was woken up by the truck collecting rubbish in the morning. Also you won't be able to open the window, so I would suggest if possible do not have the room on the ground floor!
Convenient location, quiet area, close to the tram stop (100 meters), value, cleanliness of the room
Staff are friendly and very helpful. They speak average English, good enough. Room comfortable, decor good, lots of restaurants, shops and transportation around. Supermarket less than 2 mins walk. Tram 3 mins walk, Tram no12 to the Duomo takes 5 mins. Thurs street market down the road maybe more days not sure. From Malpensia Airport take the train to central station, it's 1hr and cost 10euros. Taxi from central station to the hotel cost 10euros. Taxi from Malpensia to Dover hotel cost 120euros avoid that. Linate Airport is 10mins away.
3 nights stay, room was cleaned only once. Cleaner Desiree is loud and talks with aggression. she makes people feel unsettle. Wi-fi problems, connects with cable, takes long to, if it connects at all. Smallest shower space I've ever seen. Large people can't get in. Room needs more light, too dim.
Close to the city center
The receptionist at check-in didn't speak English Small squeaky bed Very noisy in the morning
