The place was modern, comfortable & very central to all key sites as well as bus & train terminals. Part of an old palazzio, the place felt secure and safe. Marco was very helpfull
Not very much.
The place was hot, aircon had to work too much. Apartment too large, could have another bedroom instead of loungeroom. Kitchen not well equipped, had to provide own plastic rubbish bag, no kitchen cloths or towels. Toilet stank/ old plumbing, fridge didn't work. Too noisy at night from traffic. We were very keen to leave this place.
Location of the appartment is good for ecploring the city
When we were booking the apparment I was in contact with lady ( i guess that it was an owner, but i haven't seen her during our stay.) we were arriving at 12 and asked her if we can accomodate for one hour earlier, and she was quite agressive, that check in starts at 14, and it is our problem, and if we want we can leave our things in luggage room at central station. Than I received e-mail from booking.com that the we havent agreed with the appartment owner and that they can not guarantee the reservation. It was quite stressing, as we I received this mail in the late evening and next morning we were going to Palermo. Finally everything was settled and we got to Palermo and checked in on agreed time. Have to say that we haven't even seen the owner, some man opened the doors, took money and thats it. At the first look the apartments itself were nice. But after exploring, we found out that the shower was leaking, there was some problem with canalisation, so it was a problem with using the toilet as well, bed was terrible and uncomfortable. No one even tried to clean the appartments before our arrival. Everything was so dirty, even the kitchen stuff. Air conditioning wasn't working. The worth was the fridge! All the priducts that we bought got spoiled, as it was +30 outside.
The location is brilliant, plus the design of the place is cool, just nothing works
There is not enough hot water available in this apartment to fill a Jacuzzi. They know this, just tell you after you realize! Also wifi and tv broken and place not very clean.
Yhe only good thing was small terrase
Was dirty. No internet
The location of the apartment was ideal for accessing Palermo. Luana was very helpful and spoke good English. The condition of the apartment was clean and fully functional. The people of the city are proud, welcoming and friendly.
The wifi was 3g not broadband which meant that it was very, very slow. Apart from that the apartment was very good indeed.
Spaciousness of property and its proximity to the centre of Palermo
Steep steps to gain access to property
We stayed at the Vicolo Dadi apartment. The location was good, around a ten minute walk to Teatro Massimo and 20 mins to the Piazza to get the bus to Mondello. The inside of the apartment is great if you like modern, clean furnishing. It felt like we were in a spaceship in the lounge (all white and no windows). It has a nice layout which makes the most of the space in the kitchen/lounge area. Plenty of room for two people to make it a home. The shower is incredibly high tech. It has 3 settings to get anyone going and even has a seat and a radio. If the pressure was a little better and it was a little bigger I would have fallen in love.
The staff were very rushed when we saw them. We turned up ten minutes late, hot and bothered after dragging our cases around the city heat. After one guy rushed past us and out of the door on his phone we were greeted by a lady who didn't give us a chance to put our bags down. As soon as we had both feet in the place she was turning on the oven to show us how it worked. A little patience from them is needed. They also didn't give us any information about the area, just pointed in a general direction to get to the centre. Not helpful. THERE IS A BATH IN THE BEDROOM ONE FOOT AWAY FROM THE BED. It's huge. With jets. I know this might be a plus for some people but when the boiler is only big enough to fill the bath up to your ankles it's kind of pointless. Plus in a smallish room it is a waste of space. You could have got a pool table or even a trampoline in there instead. The location is good. But the tiny road the apartment is on is pretty seedy looking. When we were there we had a huge skip full of rubble outside and it was really dirty. Saying that, it did feel safe. The corkscrew was broken so I couldn't drink wine after I bought the bottle. Don't stop me drinking wine. The bathroom window (next to the bedroom) is pretty noisy at times as it backs onto another small street. It's just the occasional loud phone conversation but was enough to wake my girlfriend up.
dark apartment Wifi never worked air conditioning leaking leaking old shower
Proximity to main sites Free wifi
Approach to property is quite unpleasant. Outside space is horrible. All the plants are dead and you look at other peoples rubbish. Kitchen is very poor, no kettle, dishes are dirty. Shower is very small and seals are dirty and mouldy
Great place ! Great location great appartment Great host !!
The bed is not very comfortable
Most of it.
Our total price was 198 euros, I gave Sabrina 200 euros but she didn't give me 2 euros back.
There was no toilet roll or soap provided in the apartment
Great location, really clean and stylish, with all necessary things for a great holiday. Near coffee shops, bars, restaurants, stores. Great value for the money.
Wifi did not work, we couldn't acces the internet.
The House is very beautiful and clean, position is perfect! The owner is gentile and kind. Thank you Vito, see you soon.
Located in the very centre of Palermo, the apartment is a great base to see the old town. Its is very spacious, clean and very comfortable with everything important on site (from corkscrew to wi-fi (not very fast though...). For city sightseeing I would recommend it to a friend!
I did not like, that we had to pay extra 100Euro deposit (not mentioned in the offer before) - but at the end we got it back without any problems.
The location and the flat looked ok.
It was a smell from the draines. The beds were not good and it wasn't any toilett paper and a lack of cutlery
Good location, very clean and modern rooms.
Our car was vandalised in the secure?? Car park.We parked where we were told but later found out it was a temporary spot, no signs..every panel scratched.Be careful with this one.The security gates are open to the street most of the time
Good central location and very spacious.
Bathroom damp and a bit smelly
Very nice apartament in the centre of the city close to everything. Comfortable rooms, tasty furnished, had all the facilietes, quite good wi-fi Vito - the owner- is frendly and hospitable person.
Great location, in the heart of palermo. Spacious apartment with 1 big bedroom and big kitchen Quite good temperature. We didnt need to use the AC We were in need of checking out late and the owner had no problems with that
Very bad cleaning. Actually the apartment was not cleaned at all when we arrived. We saw a dead cockroach in the living room. The owner apologized by saying that they opened the windows in the morning. Later during our stay another cockroach, alive this time, was seen in the bedroom. Quite dark apartment with small windows. As the apartment was in the city center, it was very noisy all day and night by the heavy road traffic of via cavour and via roma Hot water was an issue in the shower. It lasted for a half quick shower and then became really cold. WiFi was provided through 3g and had a louzy speed. Worked ok for checking emails but no more than that
Tastefully furnished apartment with all mod-cons and access to roof terrace. Quiet location even though centrally located. Relaxed and accomodating owner.
The street took some time to find due to a collapsed building blocking access.
Location is good (Vittorio Emanuele): all sightseeings are near, also near is supermarket and restaurants
There is no central heating (only conditioner) and in rooms wihout conditioner (bath, living-room) it was not warm enough (december). Gas is in the ballons and if it becomes empty at sunday or holidays it will be changed only in working day.The lining was dirty.
