The location was great, with easy walking distance to most of the big tourist sights. The restaurants nearby were also very good, with some great wine and food on offer. We stayed there twice at the start of our trip for 2 nights and 1 night before flying home between visiting th Amalfi Coast. For our first 2 nights we found the staff very helpful and our room was a great size for 3 girls with a nice large bathroom.
Unfortunately the room we had on our return to Rome was not as nice. There was mold in the shower and it was much smaller. luckily we were only there for one night and we were exhausted from travelling, but I would not have been happy if we'd been there longer.
Location (near to restaurants,termini,monuments) breakfast
The name of hotel is not "Sweat home", but California
Since we were travelling with two kids, they put two extra beds in our room, and removed extra furniture. The room ended up to be full of beds, but still room to move around) The bathroom was also very spacious, might as well fit another bed
Internet only worked in the corridor
location is good - the hotel is super close to Termini. Perfect variant for those who want to stay in Rome for 1-2 nights.
Wifi was only in lobby. Everything else was good
Location, very near train station. We actually got to stay at hotel california. Clean room (appeared to have been recently refurbished ), good facilities, friendly staff.
Everything was good.
Very noisy, hard to sleep. Facilities are old, staff is just so so, sometimes let you feel they aren't friendly.
It was just a walk away from the train station/ Metro. The staff was friendly. Spacious room. The breakfast was simple and nice.
It was confusing. Dreaming Roma Didn't have any signs it was the same company as Hotel California. We had a bath tub with an attached shower. The bath tub water was strong while the shower head was a very weak drizzle. The room was old. Very noisy at night with the tram down below & siren at night. Free Wi-fi only available in the lobby. The heater was shut off half way through the night. We had a mini fridge with a socket that didnt fit the power plug, therefore didn't work.
We ordered a stay in Dreaming Roma (which is on the first floor), but then stayed in hotel California (higher floor). We were lucky I guess. The hotel is nice and clean, the buidling has a good atmosphere. The rooms are modern. Good location and lots of restaurants around. Would stay there again.
There was not a place to really socialize. All magazines in the lobby are in Italian. But it is not a problem of course since that was in Italy:), just that I noticed that while I was waiting for friends and looking for something in another language too. All in all, not much to complain about.
-very close to Termini station, -very clean, dialy maid service -24hr reception
-very old wardrobe, so we couldn't put inside our clothes, -they inform us that we could leave our luggages to the hotel after check out (we 're leaving in the evening) but the day of departure the receptionist refused.. -breakfast not included -small room
Very close to Termini station (3 min. Walking) Has 24 hr. Reception so it helped us because we arrived late at night. Room was clean, towels were exchanged every day. Wifi was ok. The street is nice and clean. There is a good restaurant just next to the hotel entrance.
The room smelled bad and we don't know why. They gave us spray... Breakfast not inclouded...5€ need to be add for each person... "Dreaming Rome" is a part of a hotel named hotel California, the name is for a pAticular room.
