Hotel Excelsior Splendide is an Art Nouveau building of 1907. It is set on Bellagio's lakeside promenade, right in front of Lake Como and a short walk from the ferry harbor.
Score from 188 reviews Good
Surrounded by botanic gardens, Hotel Villa Cipressi is right on the shores of Lake Como. It features a gourmet restaurant, rooms with private bathrooms, and an extensive breakfast.
Score from 106 reviews Excellent
Enjoy fantastic lake views from your private balcony or garden at Borgo Le Terrazze. The suites and studios come with modern amenities.
Score from 612 reviews Wonderful
Set on the small bay of Pescallo, a 5 minute walk from central Bellagio, La Pergola is right on the lake. Its terrace overlooking Lake Como is ideal for breakfast.
Score from 229 reviews Good
i love breakfast and bedroom. I love yogurt smoothie in the machine !
The keychain is too big.
This is a great hotel. Our room had a gorgeous lake view and the breakfast and the restaurant were both excellent. The staff were incredibly helpful when our flight from Milan was cancelled due to a strike and we had to order a taxi at midnight to collect us early in the morning. We hope to return to Hotel Du Lac. Highly recommended.
Overall as said above all was good and comfortable
Restaurant and service were terrible Both orders were wrong Server disappears once food is down
The location, opposite the ferry terminal. Magnificent lake and mountain views from our room. In the centre of the beautiful town of Bellagio. Helpful & friendly staff.
Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful, Silvia, Graziano, and Luca. The hotel is ideally situated at the ferry dock. Several nice restaurants within a few minutes' walk. Breakfast room was well stocked and the breakfasts were good. The privileges at the Bellagio Sporting Club are a plus. We would stay here again in a minute.
The shower curtain was unwieldy and when you showered it would persisitently billow into your body. The curtain needs to be anchored.
Lovely hotel in easy walk from the ferry. Room had a view of lake and room was bright and roomy. There was a terrazzo for relaxing and great views from the breakfast room. Espresso was available if you asked. Staff had sense of humour too
The pillows. Too flat and soft for us. And we managed a puddle as shower screen didn't quite enclose the bath. Not major problems
Great position overlooking the lake.
Breakfast was very poor.
From start to finish it was fabulous. The lady at reception was brilliant. Fantastic location right on the water near the boats. We had a room with an amazing view at a reasonable price for the area.
We had to leave!
The room was overheated so that it was hard to sleep even with the covers off! The staff were unsympathetic but despite lack of sleep the location is amazing and we had a great holiday
Female staff were good but the men were arrogant and unhelpful
The view of the lake and good location.
bath room need to be improved , hot water is slow .bed room table lamp preferred ,a larger lcd screen.preferred timber floor with area rug. poor room lighting.
Bedroom overlooking the lake was magical. Location right by boats. Lovely roof-top terrace.
Just about everything
Standard room a bit shabby. But upgraded to renovated fresh lake view
Excellent central location on lake front, very good restaurant next door, immediately opposite a boat stop and with a magnificent lake view from the breakfast room. Extremely helpful and professional, friendly family run hotel.
Staff was wonderful suggesting restaurants and activities in the area. That really added to our enjoyment of the area and we appreciated it a lot.
When we first explored where to stay at Bellagio, Lake Como, we used the Internet comments to help guide us. Because the comments for DuLac were so strong about the personnel, my husband actually called them ahead of time, prior to making the reservations. Were we surprised to not only find them just as delightful on the phone, but also in person when we got there! We paid a bit extra and got the view overlooking the lake--so worth it! The owner, Luca, charged our iPad; the manager, Graziano, made sure we had everything we needed, Silvia, the night mgr, gave us wonderful ideas of where to go, and Agniese, the cheerful waitress, made me fresh coffee each morning, before I went running up the hills (even before the hotel cafe opened!). I cannot imagine a nicer place to stay--and we have stayed all over the world. The king-size bed was very comfortable; the room was large; and it was terrific to leave the windows open to hear the boats coming into the docks--getting us excited to jump on the next boat to enjoy the travels to the next towns around the lake. I am sure that you will love your experience. Dr. Jan Hammond
The location is great, and the staff was very helpful.
Our a/c never worked, and the room got heated.
Wonderful view and convenient to transport and sights
The hotel is located right by the lake. We loved walking around the old town, eating at various restaurants and enjoying Lake Como. It was a very peaceful and scenic getaway in October.
The only negative thing I can think of is that the parking in front of the hotel is street parking and we had to wake up early to pay for the day.
Room was spacious and hotel restaurant was very good. Staff was very helpful.
Bath tub was high and difficult to get into- no grab bars and shower curtain dragged on the tub . Also water ran hot and cold in shower- not enjoyable.
Location is as good as it gets. We had a very comfortable, large room overlooking Lake Como. Perfect in every way.
Can't think of a thing that we didn't like.
There was very little not to like! Wonderful location. While this is not the most modern of hotels, it could not be in a better position for catching a ferry to villages round Lake Como. The staff were so friendly and could not have been more helpful. While the selection for breakfast was not vast the food was good. Rooms were large and airy and, as we were at the front, had a stunning view of the lake.
The shower in the bathroom. It was hard to shower without soaking the entire place.
Beautiful view of Lake Como. Bathroom. Closets. Location.
Complicated shower that needed instructions for Americans not familiar with European showers. Floor ended up with an inch of water on it. Sorry.
Loved Bellagio - beautiful spot despite not the best weather. Loved the town and the hotel location could not be bettered.
Not cheap, but we knew that when booking
The location was great and so was the breakfast
The rooms were small and dated
