The location was near the forum, and rather close walking distance to major sites in Rome. The staff was friendly and quite helpful. The breakfast was fabulous.
Although small, the room was a miracle of modern engineering, with every convenience: excellent AC, totally soundproof, flatscreen tv, safe, hair dryer, etc. Breakfast was wonderful!
Only one elavator, sometimes it gets busy. Wi-fi sometimes doesnt work
The staff and location were great. Breakfast was decent if not spectacular but the evenings were made better by the good suggestions of restaurants by the staff.
The WiFi flickered in and out and the internet connection was slow when it did work. The hotel is quite near a few bars and in the room we were in it was very noises, even with the windows closed.
We were a couple + 1 kid. We stayed in the annex. The suite was very comfortable, spacious, clean, with a wooden ceiling for an old-style look. Also thick windows so we could sleep even when the streets were noisy. TVs in both rooms. It's very central, close to the Forums and Colosseum and right next to the underground. The staff was nice and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfasts, too.
Again, it's the annex. It was somewhat unfinished: The shower had glass walls, but not at all sides. The door between the rooms couldn't be shut completely. But really, these were minor inconveniences. We enjoyed our stay a lot.
A lot of guestrooms are detached from the building where reception is. Those rooms are made of big apartments in neighbouring buildings. A bit unsual and some of those rooms are extremely old and poorly furnished.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The room, bathroom, hallway, breakfast room are all very compact but efficient and clean. The staff was very helpful and polite. The price include breakfast for four of us. It was a full breakfast buffet. Everything was fresh and well presented. Restaurants, pizzaria and gelateria are close by. Only a short walk to Colosseum, shopping strips. Very convenient.
Not much not to like. I would just say that there is not enough room for all of us to sit around to chat. My husband and I went to the lounge downstair to have a drink instead. But it was not really a terrible thing.
Location is very good, Colosseum was just a ten min walk. What I also loved about the location was the street where the hotel was situated - it was very lively, with Sat and Sunday nights busy with musicians and locals. Some very good restaurants around. Staff was very courteous and warm - Christian, Tatiana, Elisa and Angelo. There is a small pantry where you can have ice tea in the evening time, which was quite refreshing.
The room size was very small -did not have a basic tea- coffee maker. Wifi was not too good.
Convenient to Metro, & termini station. Easy walk to Colloseum & other sites in old city. Spacious room (in annex). Lovely breakfast.
Rome quiet, cool and well furnished with comfortable bed. Breakfast was tasty and fresh
The hotel is in a neighborhood called Monti, which is absolutely amazing for young travelers. There are bio shops, bars and just people with great energy all around. Termini is just 20 minutes on foot, and the subway stop for Cavour (red line) is minutes away. Hotel staff are nice too!
We stayed in the Annex section, so there was quite a bit of noise coming from the rooms next door. The mattress was very uncomfortable. No SKY subscription, so no World Cup matches.
The rooms are small as others have stated but I think it gives the hotel a unique feel. Rooms are clean and the bed is very comfortable. We would stay again
You have to leave your keys at the front desk before leaving the apt. which wouldn't be a problem if the staff regularly asked for ID when returning to the hotel and asking for room keys.
Location next to Cavour metro station; quite close to Rome Termini railway station. Good breakfast. Surrounded by restaurants and cafes.
Rooms quite small.
Loved everything. The room, the breakfast, the staff, the position, the feeling of the place. This was our second stay and this time the room was just magnificent.
The location was excellent. The staff moved our bags to our room as we went sight seeing early in the morning.
Very small hotel. Not really a 4 star. rooms very small for a family of 4.
The location was very good as we were close to all the main attractions etc that we wanted to visit. The Vatican was the furthest away but the walk was around 45 mins The breakfast was very good and always stocked/re-stocked during busy periods.
We booked the hotel for our honeymoon. I emailed the hotel a week before we were due to visit to ask if they offered anything extra for our honeymoon. We were told that a bottle of wine would be included free of charge in the room. However, when we arrived, we weren't made to feel we were on our honeymoon and the bottle of wine was not in the room On checkout, we were not asked how our stay was. Customer service wasn't great! On being checked in, most hotels would provide you with a brief chat about the local area, map of the area. This was not done here and again, we felt the customer service was lacking somewhat
Small rooms but this is an obvious thing in Rome. Breakfast was pretty satisfactory, but coffee is good!
Location was good, breakfast better than other hotels in Rome, service was good, minibar prices decent.
Room too small, cleaningness lacking at times, limitited facilities, overall a 3 star quality hotel and not 4 as claimed!
Weary good breakfast and friendly Staff.
The warm welcome. Complimentary afternoon tea & coffee. Assistance with booking taxis
I would definitely recommend this hotel. Although it looks old from outside, all the facilities were excellent. Breakfast buffet was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, near Colosseo and near metro and bus stops.
Room was spacious, balcony was large and lovely.
Nice location, 1 minute walk from Cavour metro station and 10 minutes walk from Coloseum. Nice room and great breakfast options
Wifi was a bit slow though.
I love this hotel. It is pricey, yes but what can you expect in the very heart of Rome? Compared to a lot of other so called 3 or 4 star hotels, I believe it is worth the price. The location is excellent, the staff are first class and the rooms I have had on each of my three stays have been lovely. Definitely recommend this hotel.
