The staff: without exception they were courteous and helpful. Locality: proximity to the airport, passenger terminal and easy transport to Venice. Also free access to the internet was most helpful and appreciated. |

Location close to Marco Polo Airport for early morning flight. Also on bus route for cheap and easy travel to and from old Venice. Staff was friendly and helpful getting early taxi to airport. Good value and 3 star clean hotel. |

I liked the proximity to the bus to Venice, the helpful staff and the wonderful breakfast. The room was very small for the price. Also, we could not sleep that night, though beds were comfortable, because of the noise of people in other rooms. Walls need better insulation. You can hear other's conversations!! |

Everything was pleasant and comfortable -- even across the street from a convenient bus stop to the airport. The decor is lovely; brekfast was quite good. Lovely staff. |

Close to airport, van to transport to Venice port, functional, clean, bathroom in room, smallish room, good breakfast. Small, unadorned room.Front desk answered our questions and offered ride to port for 20 euros. |

The desk staff was accomodating and spoke good English. The gentleman on duty at 5:30 Sunday morning offered us coffee and croissants even though breakfast was not available until 7:00. No airport shuttle on Sunday. It was for the airport shuttle that we selected this hotel, and recommended to others who stayed there later in the week. |

Proximity to Venice is great. Being able to catch the bus outside the hotel - priceless. My room was very warm and I was not able to use the air conditioner. Also, my tv remote did not work. |

The hotel was very good value and the staff was very good. The breakfast was very good and wroth the money. The location was very good to depart the next morning from Marco Polo airport. The town that its located in is very nice and clean and we met a local that invited us to meet his wife and have a glass of wine and cheese, which we did. He had lived in the U.S. for fifty years and went back to Venice to retire. Over all it was a nice experience. |

The breakfast buffet was good and they had internet in the lobby. The staff was helpful and polite. They spoke decent english. Yes! The hotel had turned off their air conditioning for the building and refused to turn it back on. They said I should just open the windows. It was to hot to sleep and the street noise prevented us from being able to open the window. I threatened to leave if they didn't lower our rate but they said they wouldn't. The room was tiny and depressing. It did not look like the pictures. I also requested a non smoking room but when I arrived they said they had no such thing. |

It was quite pleasant, although our stay was just for one very short night. They were able to provide early check in which was of great benefit to us. The staff was very helpfull and able to communicate in English well enough to help us with other local travel arrangements. |

The room was clean and tidy and for €75.000 including a good breakfast, you cannot complain. However, I did choose the hotel due to the close proximity to the airport, and if you travel out of bus hours, it costs €25 to get from airport to hotel or reverse with either a cab or the hotels shuttle. On the morning we left for the airport at 5.40am, we managed to buddy up with another couple and were lucky that the driver did not realise we were not a group so we only got stung €25.00 for the group - so we split the bill.... The hotel was trying to get us to travel separately by spacing us 10mins apart....we only meet the other couple as the shuttle driver was running late and we were not supposed to bump into the other couple ..... |

We stayed in Venice for a few days prior to moving out to Hotel Ducale. We took the bus and it was about 20 minutes from the Venice train station. We had a 6am flight out so wanted to stay close to the airport and Hotel Ducale worked very well for what we needed. The staff was very helpful and organized our transportation for the flight. |

The hotel served a very nice breakfast buffet and the buffet table was nicely done and items replenished.Location was good for getting the Venice airport. The hotel was fine for an overnight stay before flying home from the Venice airport. |

The staff were immensely helpful and spoke english very well. The location provided an opportunity to experience Italian life in a non-tourist setting. Bus service to the city was not very dependable. |
