We ware stayng for 2 nights. Very good location, clean hotel with exellent staff in reception. Very helpful! Good breakfast.
The young lady in reception is very nice and welcoming and try's to be as helpful as possible. The location is good, shirt tram to the city centre.
The walls are extremely thin. We had a couple next door that seemed to sleep all day and stay up all night making a lot of noise and we could hear every word, movement and bang. The breakfast was average, get what you pay for. The man on reception was very rude. He was completely unhelpful and made our checking out experience very lengthy and long winded, resulting in us missing our airport transfer, despite telling him frequently that we needed to leave. The rooms are small but clean ish. A very average hotel.
The hotel staff is very helpfull and frindly. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are good, and it has bus and tram stops very close. The breakfast is very good for a hotel of this category.
The metro is 10 minutes away walking.
-near the city center -kind staffs -wifi is good
- it's so tiny room I have ever seen. -water is not drained in the bath. it seems that the time is stoped. -what is worse, room is cold. if you want to sleep warmly, you should sleep while standing in front of the heater. - generally, it's not the worst. but not the reasonable choice considering price.
ideal for almost all trams at porta magiorre
weekend night club across road
Quite close to the center and metro station
It's not like in the pictures. The bathroom it's not renovated, or at least not in all the rooms. The breakfast is not great either.
Comfortable room Friendly and helpful staff
A central location but not a very nice one
Every day cleaning, good breakfast in the morning, very well trained staff.
The cover sheets on the bed seemed a little bit dirty. The noise from other rooms was right near the ear
Staff - very helpful and polite
The disco in front of the hotel ...very noisy.
Hotel itself is great, small but will always stay at this hotel for all my visits to Rome. Staff will go out of their way to help you in every way possible. Breakfast is nice more than enough to give you a kick start for exploring Rome. See you soon Hotel Ducale :)
Just heating couldn't be fixed and it got a bit called at night. Taxi drivers don't seem to know where the street is so ask before you get into a taxi.
Short walk to Termini train station and metro. Staff friendly and helpful Perfect for a base and exactly that. Astetically not much, however, exceptionally clean and comfortable if a little compact. Provided substantial packed lunch for a day trip where we left before breakfast.
Breakfast, limited choices and same every day. Hidden away slightly, so a little cautious when walking at night which is normal for a young couple in an unknown city.
Plenty of breakfast Nice and helpfull staff with excellent English Frendly surroundings Good transport possibilities to the center
Traffic noise was little unconfortable (with open window)
location can be reached by metro, bus and tram... what more do we need?
4 storied, clostrophobic building, with no lift.. small congested room with smoke smell toilets small and old
Terrace and the friendly staff
The staff was great. They were helpful and responsive.
The single room is the smallest room I have ever occupied in all my years of travel. It was acceptable for a quick two night stay but a longer stay would have been uncomfortable.
Very good for a very reasonable price. Staff helpful and extrimely nice. Walking distance to Piazza Venezia, Coloseum and Manzoni Metro Station. Tram nearby. Area seems to be quite safe at night.
The location of this nice hotel is excellent. Right next to a bus and tram stop giving you the opportunity to go anywhere in the city. 10 in from Termini with either a bus or trams 5 and 14. Staff was amazing and breakfast was also delightful. It is located in what looks like "China Town" but this is not a problem. Restaurants, coffee shops, stores and a great park are just a short walk away. Highly recommended.
I am not sure what room were we originally reserved for however the staff saw that we have a lot of luggage and because the elevator was broken decided to give us room 101 on the bottom floor. This room clearly smelled like mold and after a 4 night stay all of our belongings smelled like mold too. Just an advice stay away from the bottom floor, as far as I could see there was only one room - 101.
It was a cosy hotel...u feel confo. The stuff was lovely.
No lift...Our room was in the third floor!!
Great Staff, very polite everybody, willing always to help you and inform you.
The neighbourhood too small rooms
The staff is very kind and warm-hearted to answer all the questions and give suggestions. The location is very convenient because it is very close to Termini train station. Bus and Tram are also just around the corner. The breakfast provided is also good. Though the hotel is close to a road, it is very quiet for sleeping after closing the windows. We ordered a triple room, but they provide us two rooms (one with big bed, another one with small bed). One of the air-conditioners in our rooms did not work well, so they provided us an air-cooler which works as well. It is the best hotels I have stayed compared to other hotels I stayed in Paris, Prag, Salzburg, etc.
They should make their hotel name easy to be found by first-time travelers. If I do not check google map in advance. It would take me more time to find the hotel.
The staff, the location
The staff were really nice. Breakfast is in a little pleasant terrace.
The hotel is central but the location is also a bit of a problem for people who want to walk around late at night because the area is a bit dodgy. The room was clean but really small.
Breakfast..I like it. Every clerks that I ever met were so kind.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
The air conditioner in our room was leaking a lot. Our room was right at reception so very noisy when people returned in the evening. Thankfully we were given another room after 2nd night
